RP:Induction Complete

From HollowWiki

This is a Healer's Guild RP.

Sabrina steps away from the board, obvious strain being utilized as she fails at a second attempt to raise her arms high enough to post her note to it. She was dressed in full leathers, her posture straight beyond perfect due to the binding clothes holding her ribs secure, placed there by none other than Yerrel who seemed to be in the mood to watch her manage a life without air.

Agoyoanye had been inhabiting a stool at the bar, nursing her second glass of tequila. It had been a long night at one of the infirmaries, she has lost a patient. Those was the rough days, the days that made her want to turn everyone immortal. She could have probably bit him, and he then would be a creature of the night... But that wasn't her right to decide, after all playing Gods could drive one insane. The tequila is drained and set down for a refill, when her cinnamon hues lofted about the tavern. Spotting Sabrina she stood and swayed her way to her side. "Any better?" Her passive voice piped up.

Sabrina was startled, she jumped enough to sway her balance, forcing a gloved hand to support her against the wall. She looked at the woman, her head cant to the side and she asks. “Should I know you?” She felt very much like she did, but that night was a blur at best. A trained healer would notice her stiffness, accompanied by the inability to take in a deep breath. Bindings at their finest, especially from a Master Healer with little mercy over her comfort.

Agoyoanye gave the woman a small smile that showed the tip of her fangs. "I am the one who gave you the shot to reverse the magic" her hues roamed over the tight bindings. "I am guessing that you are still recovering" she says rising her plump hand to gesture to the tight fit. "I also didn't mean to startle you Sabrina, I am Dr. Agoyoanye DeSange, but most call me Ago" her hand now extended in a greeting.

Sabrina ahh’s and offers the fanged woman a genuine smile. “I owe you my thanks.” Her bow is formal, painful but complete with an Elven grace. “It is not too often a known healer such as yourself volunteers to touch an Ardent such as myself. But I gather the experience was otherwise harmless.” Her ability, or curse if you ask her, left many a lesser race to suffer the wrath of her touch just by the contact to her skin. It gave good reason to her acute conduction of Mihael’s energy. Agoyoanye’s disposition of being neither alive nor dead would give her an extreme advantage in appealing the Ardent’s nature. “I have been meaning to meet with you, though I didn’t think I would have the honor quite so soon. I feel I am unprepared.” She gestures to the table behind the Vampire. “Shall we sit?”

Agoyoanye nodded and turned on her heels to sit at the table. "I have heard a lot about the student that you are, and with my own medical condition it is not something that tends to affect me." Nancy had seen the doctor sit at the table, and headed her way with her drink. "I also don't use magic." Her fingertips drummed on the table "These hands rely on my brain to give them orders on what to do in situations." Nancy had reached the duo by now and placed the drink down infront of its owner. Now empty of the glass her hand went to Ago's shoulder. "And a fine brain this lass has" she said before bustling off to her next tip. Ago's cheeks would have been deepened in a blush if the blood in her body still pumped, but for now the shy embarrassment played in her eyes. "Well Sabrina, I am always around here or there, just depending where they need a non magical healer at the time. But also I can be found in my study working with my theories and experiments.." A chuckle rose from her busty bust. "Eh don't feel unprepared I am just as you just not technically living" her southern Milous plains charm bleed through her body language and charm

Sabrina arches a brow “Students, aren’t we all.” Even she would admit that there was always room for more knowledge. “As it were, I wanted to talk to you about your skills. Nancy speaks highly of you, as well as a few citizens throughout Kelay.” When she spoke it was almost calming, those elvish tones making her words flow despite the rough nature of the Common she was trying to use it with. “I have recently come to realize that I may not always be fit enough to be all the places I need to be.” She sits. Slowly. Very slowly. There is displeasure written all over her face and a grunt accompanies her movement in its finality. “What I have meant to ask you, given your notoriety among citizens, is if you would find purpose in helping me lead the Guild.” She didn’t give time for Agoyoanye to answer when she speaks again, a hand gesturing she not argue, just yet. “Don’t get me wrong, I know I don’t know you. In turn you don’t know me but your assessment of my previous situation tells me so much about your ability to perform under pressure.” She shoves a stubborn lock behind pointed ear. “I would like you to consider a position in the guild. You don’t have to answer now; I realize the task is more than most would like to deal with.” She relaxes back in the chair, something-anything to relieve the pressure within her binds. “It is often times a very thankless job.”

Agoyoanye lips had cracked into a smirk when the woman had corrected her. "Yes I suppose as long as our brains are able to process then, yes we are all still learning."to that she raised her drink to the smirk and drank it down. It was sad to the vampire that the harsh liquid no longer burned going down her gullet, and that the alcohol would never effect her the way it once did. Sabrina was a talker which was quite different than what the vampire was used to, but she didn't miss a word the lady was saying. "I would hope that I was a valued healer in this society.. After all I have only been doing this I would say the last 100 years" her tongue ran over her pearly teeth. " she noticed how when the woman sat, she had sat in pain. Her hand reached into her coat and pulled a bottle of pain medicine of her own making. "It's a few things that will allow the muscles to relax, and those are non-addictive..Just a bit of camomile, lavender petals, sage, and a tiny bit of pixie dust for the overall feel good" her voice labeled off the ingredients. "As for joining the guild" she says sitting back in the chair and lacing her fingers, as if looking if she was contemplating it. "I believe that I would take a enjoyment with being with your guild.. And yes it may be a thankless job, but the sight of a person being healed, or still living to see another day is enough for me..." Her body leaned up to the table. "Tell me Sabrina, Have you every delivered a child to its mother?"

Sabrina waves off the offer of the Healer’s elixir. Unlike the jolt of magical expulsion previously injected (in conjunction with an Ancient’s surge) anything meant to spend time in her body would have little to no effect. “My uses are generally less practical. In the past, yes. Now people come to me when they are dead or dying.” ‘Come to her’ was usually an issue addressed with the family, since most of her patients required the elfess to travel far and wide. Lucky she traveled by hound, or she’d never make most of the dire situations. In truth this was more talking than the elfess was used to, but she needed to lay it on the table. She wouldn’t delve too deep into the child mother bond, her inability to bear children at all made those jobs all the more difficult. She was happy that Ago had such a bright view over her patients. It was a good sign she was making the right decision. “And so. I would like to offer you a position. As well as manage all lands south and east of Kelay.” Kelay being the most central point and her rapport with the people North and West helped to divide the work so neither party was too over stressed. This would mean that Ago would be in charge of recruits and placements in those domains as well.
