RP:Illusion Show

From HollowWiki

Sayban walks slowly down Kelay Way, her long white silk gown dragging behind her and her white hair and feathers blowing in the cool breeze. Her hands are folded together and rest on her toned torso as her body sways as she walks, like a leafe or blade of grass in the wind. A glowing white aura shines brightly and outlines the Avians body, giving the creature an angelic or divine look to her. What ever flower appeals to the ones present is what they will smell, stronger than normal, for this is the scent that comes from this young woman. Footsteps are quiet and leave no trail behind, but also are slow. The grey eyed, light skinned female looks all around her, with a slight smile on her face. An owl of the winter type sits on her left shoulder, looking at home and contempt where she sits.

Korike was walking from Cenril, having just come from the bank. Heading north, the gnome kicks a pebble as he goes, also enjoying the soft breeze. He then stops when he spies the shining avian. "Hello there!" he calls to the female in a friendly tone.

Sayban stops and has to look around before she spots the gnome. With a smile she waves to him and greets him in a warm voice, that could just be the voice of light, "Greetings good sir. How does this evening treat you?" Unlike most Avians, she didn't seem to be stuck up like most, but one can never know from a first encounter.

Korike smiles and nods. "I guess it's going alright for me, so far. How about you?" the gnome asks. Sayban glances up at the stars with a pearly white smile, "It is wonderful. The night is cool, things seem to be at peace for now, and the forest is happy and sings, despite the absence of the Sage Elves, or in this case, the Sylvan Elves." A few more steps draw her closer to the gnome, "I am Lady Sayban, Sky Druid from Armantium. Who might you be, great sir?" she asked in a sweet tone.

Korike smiles. "Pleased to meet you, Sayban." The gnome then performs a low bow. "My name is Korike." If the avian didn't ask anything else after Korike gave her his name, the shadow gnome would go on to ask "Do you...have a favorite type of animal or insect?"

Sayban nodded her head, "Pleasure to meet you, Master Korike." Not use to being asked basic questions such as favorite things, she didn't know how to respond at first but eventually did with a smile to match her tone, "Swans. I don't own one, but I have a Swan Dragon. She resembles a white swan so I adore her. Her name is Brooke."

Korike smiles and nods. "Yes, swans are beautiful animals." The gnome's pointed ears then prick up a bit. "A swan dragon? I can't say I've heard of those, before." The gnome then takes a step back, and starts concentrating...building up his illusion magic. When he is ready, the gnome snaps his fingers. The solid illusion of a swan, appears in front of the avian. The creature then walks over to Sayban, and nuzzles her lower legs. The illusionary creature would feel and sound just like the real thing.

Sayban watches and in excitment of seeing the illusionary creature, she laughs and claps and even bends down to pet the bird. The ability to touch such a creature sent a shudder through her body and her skin to prickle. Little bumps covered her skin and possibly could be seen where her skin was not covered by dress, hair or sleeves. "What a wonderful thing to beable to do. I can't do that, except make it out of water, but that alone is boring and would loose the interest of most who would be watching. You say you have not seen a Swan Dragon, would you like to see Brooke and get a first hand look at what she is?"

Korike smiles and shakes his head. "Not right now, but yes, I would love to, at some point." The gnome then snaps his fingers, conjuring up another pair of swans, which begin nuzzling the crouching avian.

Sayban understands, and doesn't know what else to say about these swans, forgetting that they are just an illusion. "Well, just send me whisper on the wind or a ripple in the water when you want to see her. She is quite a site, capturing the beauty of a dragon and swan." her feathers ruffled some as she shook some of the excitment from her body.

Korike nods. "Alright." replies the gnome. "Having fun?" he asks, as the swans on her left and right side, playfully slide their feathery wings back and forth along Sayban's arms.

Sayban says to Korike, "It isn't every day I get to do things like this. Having an owl and a dragon to take care of takes up most of my time when I am not taking care of my mate."

Korike nods. "Ah, I see." He then grins. "I know something you might like." The gnome then concentrates, and the trio of swans seem to fade away. When Korike is done concentrating, he snaps his fingers. A giant swan, about three to four time bigger than the avian appears nearby. For a moment, the creature just stands there, preening its feathers.

Sayban stands up as soon as the swans fade away, remembering that they were not real. her heart sank some and she made a mental note to find a way to have a swan as an animal companion. But when the larger swan appears, its over whelming at first and she can only stand there and look on in awe at it. Then she reaches out her hand, but draws it back, remembering that it is just an illusion and isn't real. "You seem to have those tricks of your's well practiced."

Korike smiles. "Thank you...I like to entertain people...but I am not so good in crowds." The giant bird then calmly walks over to Sayban...before gently scooping her up, and cradling her in it's wings.

Sayban has the words swept away from her when she is scooped up, in the wings of an over grown swan. She couldn't say anything about what was going on and she didn't know how she was going to explain this one to her mate. She doesn't even know if Divit would even listen to her about this. She could only look around in shock or surprise whichever it is, but words never came to her lips.

Korike watches as the swan stops rocking Sayban. "Are...you alright?" he asks, noticing the look on the avian's face. The gnome had hoped that he didn't go overboard, and give her a heart attack or something. Sayban smiles some, "I am not use to a bird holding me. Usually it is the other way around or me petting it if it's to big. But this, this is a new feeling an new sensation and I don't know how to describe it."

Korike nods. "Hmm...wonderment?" he asks, trying think of the word that Sayban is trying to figure out.

Sayban finds her way out of the wings of the swan, floating back down to the ground, "It is nothing like flying or having my mate carry me or my dragon. It's nothing like riding a horse or being thrown. It is just a weird sensation that has no word to it yet. So, wonderment might work. But I am not one to come up with new words. It isn't right for a lady of my race to do." She can only look at the large swan, wondering if it or her dragon would be the better flying mount.

Korike nods. "Ah, alright." He then glances up at the swan, which actually waves goodbye before fading away. After waiting a few more moments, he smiles and asks "How do you feel about...butterflies?"

Sayban says to Korike, "In my line of work, I do not see them much, so I do not get to enjoy them and admire them. I spend most of my days in the sky, trying to help it keep balance with the changing of the seasons."

Korike nods and grins. "Alright then." After some more focusing, and a snap of his fingers, a large swarm of the pretty, winged insects appear nearby, and begin softly fluttering around the avian.

Sayban is proving to be a great audience for these illusions. She is loving them, and the butterflies only make her giggle more and more and smile bigger and bigger. The child of the sky seems to glow brighter with her enjoyment, clapping again to praise the little man before her. "Master Korike, you have some fine skills. May delight come to those who enjoy this and woe come to those who dislike it." She knelt down and kissed the gnome on the cheek, "I'm afraid I don't have much on me, but perhaps this will help you." She digs in a side pouch that blended in with her dress, handing him ten gold peices, shiney and golden, sparkling as if they were new makes. She looked at the butterflies and was amazed on how something so small, could be apart of something so big such as the world.

Korike blushes as she kisses him on his cheek. The gnome then holds up his hand and shakes his head. "That's alright. I can't take your gold." The butterflies that were flying swarming around the avian, land on her...which would practically cover her from head to toe. The little bugs then begin nuzzling Sayban.

Sayban just laughs and looks at Korike in her butterfly suit. That is what it would seem like. She wanted to give him the gold, but she would find a way to sneak it to him. Meanwhile, her nose was being tickled by the suit of butterflies, making her laugh and giggle and reach up to itch her small nose.

Korike watches as the butterflies continue to nuzzle the avian for a bit longer, before fading away. For about a minute after they fade away though, the colors of the feathers on her wings, seem to have changed to mimic the colors of a rainbow.

Sayban doesn't really notice the color change of her wings, but she perks up and turns her head toward the sky as if someone where talking to her. "Master Korike, I hate to leave this rather enjoyous moment, but my husband is summoning me and I must go. I hope to see you around and your illusions." Another kiss is given to him on the cheek, if he allows it, and after waving and waiting for his goodbyes, she unfolds her large wings, and pushes them down with strength only a man could wish he had, driving the light female into the air, eventually into the sky where she would fly off toward Northern Sage Forest.

Korike closes his eyes and giggles lightly as she gives him another kiss. "Goodbye for now!" he calls up to the avian, as she takes off.
