RP:First Annual Rabbit Catching Contest

From HollowWiki

Background

Ranok hosts a party, to help lift the spirits of people whose hearts were weighed down by the constant conflicts, duels and deaths in recent times.

As part of the entertainment 124 of the Uchawiman's chaotic creations are released: Butterfly-shifting Winged Rabbits of Dire Cuteness.

Whoever could capture the most would gain themselves a new... family.

The shenanigans ensued.

[Narrator: Valentin]

Temple To Daedria: the event is announced

The inside of the temple was a beautiful place to behold. There were patches of moss on the wall, grown in organic shapes here and there. Matching the courtyard outside, the floor lay covered with a thick and lush carpet of grass. However, the center of room lay bare, to serve as the ballroom for the dancers. An instrumental band sits in one corner to play all night and provide atmosphere as well. The mosaic has been covered by the grass, but in its place stands a rough approximation made entirely of flowers of the same colors where the grass lay. Morning glory twine about the pillars that support the room, in full bloom. The fountain that the throne lay embedded in does not send out a large spray as it once had. Instead, it flows down into a brook that runs down one side of the room to pool outside the room. The subtle babble provides a pleasant counterpoint to the songs the bands play. The lighting of the room is as warm as ever, tempered by the flourish of life that runs artfully rampant through the place. Instead of creatures of the ground being loose in here, a large amount of insects and flying creatures flutter through the high vaulted ceiling. Over the night they would likely vanish out the door or be snared by guests. Counterpoint to the living room, a silent metal sentinel stands in this room as well, decked out in an elaborate fairy costume. A security measure kept handy in the event that a guest needed to be forcefully vacated from the premises. It was considerably smaller then its companions in the courtyard. As well, seals lay on the ground underneath the carpet of grass to shut down any magical attempts to disrupt the party.

Ranok goes to the center of the room once more, "Now that the party is in full swing, I would like to announce the beginning of the next leg of entertainment for the evening. The Capture Contest. A horde of rabbits has been set loose in the courtyard outside. The goal is simple. With the provided nets, capture as many as you can and place them in the pen. The person that captures the most gets a prize for doing so. Participation is voluntary. Those that wish to may remain here to dance or drink. The band will play all night. If not, please join me outside in the next few minutes." His hands are put together as he speaks and addresses the room. Those rabbits were a handful, and catching them would be no easy task. A fun one, he hoped, however.

Tysinni is grinning back at her friend when the fae suddenly disappears. Blinking, the thief looks around the room deliriously, searching for her sparkly fairy friend. "I lost her!" Standing up, she wobbles unsteadily on one leg before nearly toppling over onto a table. "Sorry, sorry, it was deliberate!" Using her uninjured hand to leverage herself up, she looks at all the people heading outside. "Is it over already?" Blearily looking for Ranok, she finds him and yells out, "Great party, Dezro! Smashing success!" Oblivious to any stares she was getting, she'd keep yelling, "What was that about rabbits?!?!"

Narrator || A winged rabbit bounces into the temple, wriggles it's nose at those attending, then bounces back out into the courtyard

In the Courtyard: the event begins

As one enters the courtyard, the first impression culled from it all is the impressive life that seems to flourish inside. A thick and rich carpet of grass covers the stone, providing a soft and lush floor. Flowers bloom here and there, various colors spreading out over the grass. Walls of ivy hang thickly on the stone walls, clinging to them like a babe to its mother. As well, the statue standing tall in the courtyard has a thick bed of vines draped over it. They extend to the floor and coil about the base, where a thick and spontaneous bed of flowers lay. The air is thick with the scents of grass and moist Earth, its source untraceable. A babbling brook runs from the well and the door of the temple to end in a small pond, where illusionary fish swim. How the pond does not overflow is a mystery, though a person examining it would notice the magical tap that runs the water back to its source to prevent the enormous loss of it. Bubbles and lights float randomly through the air, amid the scent of the flowers blooming. It provides a peaceful and light hearted affair. Numerous small creatures roam about the grounds, placid and fuzzy. Among them are a large amount of rabbits that seem to carry wings and hop through the air. Occasionally, one could be seen to pop into a butterfly the size of a dinner plate. Even more rarely, one could be seen to breath a small gout of fire or bubbles that burst into notes. A side effect of their creator, it seems. However, underneath the softness lurked steel. There were protections against those that might have sought to disrupt the party. The most obvious were the two hulking metal monstrosities sitting beside the gates entering the courtyard and the one into the temple. Each were decked out in what seemed to be canvas wings covered with glitter and lightly colored paints. They stood silent sentinel, ready to be called upon should they be needed. They sit so still that only the fact that they are not covered with ivy or vines gave testament to their mobility. But underneath that carpet of grass laid several seals of magical nature. They all lay dormant, and unseen through the grass. Their purpose was singular in their nature to protect those at the party.

The Narrator is here with a horde of shapeshifting rabbits named Shenanigans

Narrator || The rabbits in the courtyard, as if warned about the 'capture' competition, spread their wings, wrinkle their noses, and begin a chaotic aerial ballet as they bound around in high, wing-flapping hops, landing in trees, bouncing off walls, and otherwise scampering around like furry winged lunatics. Sturdy and decorative butterfly nets are provided to party attendants should they wish to try their hand at nabbing some of the cutely evasive critters.

Ayameko shook her head and looked up as she heard others heading into the courtyard. Still the young woman, veiled as she was, remained kneeling besides Lastrin, seeming a tad bit protective over him as she eyed the flying bunnies.

Lastrin puffs, "Yeah, right, you get to see me in all my hazed and drugged glory but won't let me help you? What kinda twis..ted.... logic.... is that?" The male's eyes had become distracted once more, but by Ayameko's veiled profile.

Tysinni limps out of the temple, following a rather sparkly party-goer into the night. Such fascinating things, people's costumes this evening. Still loopy from the effects of her pain killers, the thief sorta lists about on her good leg until she finds, what she thinks is a soft spot, in the thick of the crowd and just leans against whoever might be standing there.

Gwenilyn finds herself giggling at the aerial diplay and for a moment or two does nothing more than look and laugh. Sapphire orbs twinkle with merriment and the fae looks more relaxed and happy than she has in ages.

Ayameko gazed back to Lastrin then to tthe others that were coming out, it seemed as if some kind of game was underfoot, and involving throwing nets, "I think this isn't going to be condusive to fresh air much longer. Are you okay for now?" She asked, concerned, "I'll help you get to another spot if needed?" She didn't remark on his last comment, she was more concerned on making sure he didn't end up accidently netted in his drug hazed condition.

Lastrin shakes his head slowly, "I'm fairly certain I'm good now... However, I would like to ask you for a dance, ma'am. If that's acceptable, of course.

Gwenilyn :: A sly grin might overpower the fae's features. It miht be noted that there is a pop! followed by a shower of sparkling dust. gwen is revealed in all her six inch glory. With her magic to help her, the little fae takes her net and casts it about wildly in opes of catching one of those little cuties. it is to be hoped that she doen't accidentally snare one of the guests instead..

Raziel would walk out, paying attention to the sound of the bunnies. Muraski had left her at the party alone, and she couldn't go about catching rabbits in her condition. So she would simply wander to the edge of the courtyard. Soon Barra, a shadow familiar, would appear beside her, sticking a note in her hand. She couldn't read it, of course. So she'd look for someone who could.

Nora walks into the strange courtyard and looks around with a cold glare.she spies one rabbit hop in front of her and then flutter for a minute before falling on the ground again. She sighs as she looks down at her Beautiful attire and small bat wings, she walks up to a tree and leans against it, looking around at the others at the party

Svilfon swaggers into the party with a strange set of wings. Sticking out of a bag on his back is two brightly feathered wings which flutter around. This wouldn't be so strange, were it not for the squarking abuse coming from within, "Raarrrkkk! You're an ugly wench! Quarrrk!" It seems, for everyone's safety, Svil has trapped Percy within his bag, killing two birds with one stone.

Kasyr , in a fine display of being fashionably late, chooses this particular moment to finally arrive. Lacking his trademark trenchcoat (for once), the vampire is instead garbed in a black pants and vest combo- and decidely looking uncomfortable for the change in couture. Really, the only thing about his current garb that the Kensai doesn't seem overly bothered by, is the tophat currently adorning his head- the likes of which has been carefully 'mangled' so as to allow his Calico ears to poke through. Upon sighting the peculiar 'bunny-ballet' thats' kicked off, Kasyr can't help but wonder just what he missed.

Nora grumbles as she looks around the courtyard, looking at the strange people and sights

Tysinni pushes off the unfortunate person she was leaning against, staring up at the flying rabbits with amazement. To her drug addled mind, the rabbits appeared to be more than magic, they filled her entire vision as she studied them unblinkingly. Tilting her head to the side, the thief sticks her head into her cloak, under her uninjured arm and yells, "Frog man, do you want to eat a flying bunny?" Apparently ready to feed the Uchawiman in her cloak several bunnies, the thief would make a wild grab for one whizzing by and miss it by a mile. A small squeak and she would hit the ground, thankfully on her good leg. Deciding that was as good a place to rest as any, Ty will simply lay there for a couple moments, staring up at the flying bunnies.

Ranok was the one handing out the nets to anyone that wished to try their luck at catching the rabbits. He speaks in the same voice he had all night, the wings of shifting light and colors spooling out from his shoulder blades, "Please feel free to try your hand at catching the rabbits. Use the nets only. And do remember, they are but flesh and blood creatures. Violence against them will be frowned strongly upon. The winner of the contest will be awarded a grand prize of the evening." He offers a smile to those there. Those rabbits were tricky things, prone to popping into huge butterflies or sailing through the air with massive winged hops. They were mostly harmless, unless one forgot to not breath fire. Ordering them from Uchawiman did have its detriments, but hopefully no one got scorched.

Narrator || Gwenilyn comes face to face with a lop-eared, owl-winged little rabbit which blinks large brown eyes at her. As Gwenilyn's net sweeps, it leaps, and with its wings flapping it bounces away, off the arm of a garlanded sentinel nearby, and the chase is on.

Nora looks down at a rabbit at her feet, sniffing her and sighs as she gets on her knees, looking at it. "It's a shame I can't eat you...You would have been so delicious..." The rabbit is obviously scared as it hops and flies away.

Raziel would sigh, realizing she knows little to no one who could read the note and goes -far- away from the bunnies to make a quiet owl call. Soon an owl would land upon her arm, and she'd hold the note for him to read. Nodding she'd send the creature away and wander over to Gwen, for the owl had pointed her out for Raziel. "Um... Sorry to interrupt you. Seems I was told to give you a message, dear."

Nora stands back up as she leans against the tree, it's bark slowly turning from a rich Brown to an almost greyish, cracking wood. Very slowly.

Gwenilyn :: A groan mght be heard fro the healer fae as eyes are narrowed and she quickly retrieves her net. Sadly it had found Ranok's head to land upon..... with quick shrug and grin, the net is rescued. Or is that Ranok~ who is rescued? and off she goes, stalkig her "prey" and timing her throw just ...SO~! With any luck, she will be successful this time.

Narrator || One bunny, a cute little white thing, scampers over, and uses Tysinni's face as a launchpad to escape the sweep of someone else's net. It meant no harm, honestly, but that white tail might tickle.

Nora remains by herself as she leans against a tree, slowly turning the rich brown bark into a Cracking Grey Patch

Satoshi , unlike her husband, is quite at home in formal attire, because at her core the kit is a vain creature that adores the chance to dress up special. That doesn't mean the clingy like azure number she's wearing is purely for show, mind you. The slit running up the side of the shimmering fabric might be blatantly provocative, but it also allows the fight-happy magus the movement she relies upon. Hell, even the bits of silver jewelry hanging about neck, wrists, and upon pulled-up hair serve their purposes, all bearing fluorite gemstones heavy with precautionary enchantments. Paranoia and vanity meet tonight to present Lady Frostmaw at the Fae Ball, complete with the required set of wings courtesy of conjured ice shards, wisps of mist, and careful weaving of the frosty elements to create an ethereal pair of feathered appendages that trail diamond dust like a proper pixie knock-off.

Thea chuckles in amusement as she watches her dear friend chase the rabbit to and fro, offering a bit of aid to head one off for Gwen, "Get him, Gwen!"

Tysinni lets out a screech as one ball of fluff lands directly on her face. Sitting straight up and swinging her arm around wildly, she looks about herself in startled bemusement. "That better not be a spider!" Spotting yet another pair of sparkly wings on a nearby party-goer, she commences with more staring, mesmerized by the sparkliness.

Nora closes her eyes as she feels her Miniature Bat wings slowly fold up and feels the dark aura emanating from her into the tree she's leaning on.

Ranok's look of surprise as Gwen's net gets him over the head would be priceless. He wasn't angry, as the atmosphere even got to him and chuckling lightly, "Get him, Gwen!"

Narrator || Gwenilyn, master rabbit catcher, catches more than she bargains for after retrieving her little net, as the rabbit finds Ranok an excellent hiding place, and Gwen's cast scoops up both Ranok's head and the nose-twitching little lop rabbit. But how to seperate rabbit from Ranok? Aye, there's the rub.

Satoshi sidles up alongside Kasyr. "...rabbits? I thought the food would be easier to grab at a ball..."

Korra peered in from atop one of the courtyard walls. How she'd gotten there is a mystery, but whatever was going on down there it looked like fun and so of course she wanted in. She looked down below her, at the ground on the other side of the wall, and waved--then jumped off and spread her wings out to their full thirty-foot span, the oddity flapping the skeletal appendages once to slow her fall slightly before landing on the grass. She stood back up, obsidian-colored exoskeleton gleaming faintly, and folded her wings--then hurled herself at one of the bunnies or butterflies or whatever they were, claws and arms outstretched to grab it in some sort of hug--well, most likely a painful one, those were rather nasty claws.

Nora tries to ignore the group as she stands up, the Grey patch on the tree quickly fading back to it's rightful Dark Brown. she sighs as she leaves. "I don't have time for this...I have a meal to catch..." she then leaves the party, her wings growing in size as they slowly wrap around her, forming a Beautiful, Black Dress.

Raziel laughs a bit as she hears some of the 'words' from the rabbits, particularly the one that jumped off of Tysinni's face. She then waits for Gwen's answer.

Kasyr simply tilts his head off to the side, one hand moving up to his hat to ensure it remains in place. For a few moments, the Kensai adopts a pensive look- before quietly mumbling, "Maybe its' to ensure they work up an appetite, j'en sais pas."

Svilfon looks at his clothes and thinks he doesn't quite understand fancy parties. But at least his fur-lined robes are neater than his old ones, and his fine hat rests proudly on his head. Yeah, he looked good enough for this place, he's sure, despite Percy's raucous affirmations that he's nothing but an ugly wench in a dress. Svil doesn't chase after the rabbits, he merely tips his hat to Ranok before wandering somewhere to watch the ensuring action.

Tysinni is completely enraptured with Satoshi's wings, nearly falling on her face as she tried to keep them in sight. The poor drug muddle half-elf would lean over on her good leg to look around the side of another party-er. Poking said person in the leg, she'd try to push them out of the way so as to have uninterrupted view of Sato's finery. "Pretty..."

Nymh watched somewhat miserably from the kitchen door, reminded of his tragic loss of his wings, and deeply disturbed by what seemed to him a mockery of all he had lost. He sits by the door though, forlorn and reminiscing... As always, he was dressed finely, but without wings he may soon be told to leave anyhow. He noted a few friends chasing the flying rabbits, which made for quite the spectacle. Not for the first time, he wished for his own wings.

Narrator || The plump caramel-coloured rabbit targeted by Korra squeaks, and there is a 'Pop!'. A butterfly wafts through the abomination's claws, scattering glitter on Korra's nose. But a moment later it pops again, a rabbit once more, and scampers away in leaps and bounds, leading Korra directly to Nora.

Gwenilyn cannot help but giggles as bunny and smith compete for ascendancy with regards to the net. Gwen carefully herds the winged creature towrd the center of the net. sadly that means it has to crawl on the smith's head to do so. The fae nearly dissolves in laughter but keeps saying, 'COme on you little floppy eared, wing bespeckled rodent! Oh! The rabbit, Rank. I didn't mean you, I promise!' With any luck The fae has caught her quarry. Should this be the case, the fae will lift the thing off poor Ranok's head and practically scream, 'GOTCHA!'

Narrator || Percy squawks "Raaark, Wizard can't catch a rabbit! Raark! Pity the fool, pieces of eight!"

Satoshi is oblivious to Tysinni's starings--a fortunate thing, or the prettied up kit would be ruining the look by growling at the thief--and keeps her eyes on the various rabbits scurrying about. A silver and white one catches her eye, sporting a charming pair of sparrow wings, and she nudges Kasyr with an elbow. "Betcha can't catch that one~."

Bones || The entrance of Bones was far less glamorous than Korra's...he just walked into the courtyard, nonchalant as could be. The vulture wings Korra had more or less brute-force grafted on weren't fully functional just yet. They did flap every one in a while, but it was half-hearted and not exactly intimidating. It gave his whole appearance more of that 'ramshackle' feeling. Which he may as welll have been, considering he was a dead preklek. Literally. His urumi was coiled around his waist like a belt, the shotel attached to it with a small piece of rope...people seemed familiar. He couldn't place a finger on it, but they did. He'd step to Ranok then, one hand held out. "If we're catching bunnies, net please. I don't think they'd appreciate my stature bearing down on them."

Calcifier enters the courtyard and stays at the edge of the crowd leaning against the wall beside the kitchen enterance.

Raziel laughs a honey-sweet laugh at all the sillyness and then simply wanders to the side of the courtyard to wait and remain out of the way for now. Should a rabbit come near the woman she'd simply pat its head and send it on its way.

Narrator || While Nymh watches on, he might almost miss the blackwinged, long-eared bunny fleeing in great speed from someone else, and coming right at him. Will bunny meet pixie in a tragic collision of fates?

Thea 's empathy is on full alert, along with a few other senses. The Pixie spies Nymh staring there in the doorway, his wanton eyes falling on each pair of sparkly wings as his face conveys the sting of envy being left in their place. Thea's brow knits and she whispers something to one of the guards, instructing him to remain there in wait for her while she sees to an errand. Thea grins to Gwenilyn and calls to her friend, "I will be back in a moment, dear."

Ranok has little time to return Svil's polite tip of the hat. His own hat was squashed by net and rabbit. He tries to free himself...carefully. Just in case the fuzzy thing on his head decided to breath the gout of flame. Only now did he regret getting them from an insane source. Maybe he should have gone with 'Sociopath's R Us' or the like, instead. Then the rabbits would potentially be less harmful.

Narrator || Gwenilyn's moment of triumph is added to in spectacular fashion as another rabbit, descending from a frantic aerobatic leap, descends in the general direction of herself and Ranok's face.

Thea makes her way back into the area, airy strides carrying her curvaceous frame towards the male of her kind. With naught but a smile, a hand is outstretched holding a set of wings befitting the size of his frame, enchanted with the power of flight thanks to the Master craftsman in Enchantment.

Thea gave 1 Delicate Opalescent Wings to Nymh.

Nymh spies Thea approaching, and noting his own less than festival attitude, he prays silently that he has not mortally offended her. He decides to shove off before he has a chance to really upset her, and stands and brushes himself off, turning to leave.

Korra 's facial valves opened and with a sharp exhalation sound the glitter was blown off her face--for the most part. She snarled--a cicada-like sound--and hurled herself after this shape-changing thing, not bouncing like it was but straight running, wings extending outward for balance. Which meant that if she wasn't careful--and she wasn't--she might accidentally whack someone in the head with a limb. Not that this mattered to her. She was going to catch herself a bunnterfly!

Bones 's wings flap lazily. He ries to shoot them a glare over his shoulder, failing miserably....still waiting for Ranok to hand him that net. He turned back to notice that he miiight be a bit preoccupied.

Tysinni frowns as a pair of legs decked in robes passes into her field of vision. For some reason, the robes are very loud. Looking up, her attention pulled from Satoshi's wings, she gapes at the strange sight of a rather familiar bird strapped to someone's back. "Pernicious giblet. Shut yer gob!" Deciding it was time to stand up, the wobbily thief grabs onto said robes and uses the person inside them to pull herself to her feet with her good arm, standing there unsteadily on one injured leg while she waited for the ground to stop spinning.

Narrator || Kasyr's chosen, the silvery sparrow-winged little blitz-bunny of evasive doom, was currently dashing around the walls, almost defying gravity in its haste

Narrator || Raziel's mercy is noted, and she soon finds herself patron saint of five brown bunnies using her as cover.

Ranok has dropped the nets, both hands attempting to extract himself from the net about his head. They were free for the taking, at the moment.

Svilfon swears at his bag, "G'damnit, you bag of feathers, I'll show you!" He stomps on over to Ranok and takes a net, before spying a rabbit that looks a little too much like his indentity crises goat; wings and all. It eyes Svilfon. Svilfon eyes it. The world shrinks between man and beast, before with a venerable battle cry Svilfon leaps forwards, his net swinging in a wild arc! - sadly for him, watching his net-catching skills is akin to watching a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. It does not go well. He ends up on the ground, his robes dirty, his hat askewed, a confused bunny staring at him from the spot it never moved from, and Percy on his back yelling out, "Cap'n's an ugly wench! Pity fool, Pieces of Eight, But he's still better than Corny, Quaarrrrrkkk!"

Bones shrugged. Well, beggars can't be choosers. He'd take one of the nets off the ground and give it a twirl before giving hime a once-over. "Hmm." He'd turn then and focus on getting one of those rabbits. At the sight of the five bunnies hiding behind Raziel, he'd start a slow lumbering walks towards her. The game was on, now.

Raziel laughs a bit as the bunnies use her slightly poofy dress as cover. "Aw, how sweet." she'd giggle, as she hears them 'talking'. Her beast speech being quite entertaining for her this night. She would then simply act as if she knew nothing about them, and lean against the wall behind her.

Nymh glances back as the Queen of Enchantment hands him a pair of enchanted wings, his eyes filled with tears. He truly did not wish to intrude further, nor to insult the queen, especially at her party, but he couldn't bear to allow himself flight, not with his sister still in the chains of bondage. He had promised himself, and as such, he bowed to the Queen respectfully, handing the wings back. "Forgive me m'lady, but for reasons I cannot right now name, I cannot accept your gracious gift. I thank you for your kindness, and rest easier knowing Enchantment is ruled with such compassion, but I cannot set wings to my person, anymore than I could forfeit my life, such as it is."

Nymh gave 1 Delicate Opalescent Wings to Thea.

Gwenilyn :: " Oh no you don't~!' is the battle cry now issued by the little fae. HSe hands Ranok the net and mutters, 'lose that bunny, lose a limb!' though of course there is a wink to follow. Gwen waits, hovering for said buny to reach her and at the last possible moment, leaps for the creatur's back and holds on for dear life. Anyone ever seen a farie rodeo before? Well you have now!

Raziel hears Bones coming her way with her sensitive ears. Lovely thing, blindness is. She still, however, remains silent about the bunnies and turns her head towards Bones 'looking' at him with her white pupiless/ irisless eyes.

Thea 's smile does fade a bit, but understanding resides there in her features as it returns with a warmth, "Aye then..when you are ready, hmm?", she rests a delicate hand to his right shoulder and offers a squeeze before instructing a guard to put the wings away. A handkerchief is then discreetly passed to her fellow Pixie along with a few hushed words..

Narrator || Li'l caramel shapeshifting bunny was not inclined to be no creature's dinner, no sirree! It scampers straight towards a wall and then, in superb form, bounces off, burps a small gout of flame at Korra's face before bouncing off her head and going in the opposite direction. Who knows? Maybe that harmless little gout of fire will distract Korra from the wall her momentum was booking her an appointment with?

Kasyr takes one good glance at his wife, before he pops his hat off and begins to sift one hand through his hair, "You just want moi to catch you a meal, ou quoi-ce-soit." Nonetheless, he does begin to move in the general direction of the cute creature. For the moment, he's simply taking his time and observing the rabbits rush- and waiting for a moment it isn't moving.

Bones might finally come up to Raziel, stretching and straightening his spine to bring himself up to his full height. He blinked with that solitary red eye before he'd shrug. "I didn't see any rabbits. Nice dress." Then he'd turn around and charge for another...anyone! He would catch one of those damned rabbits if it was the last thing he did!

Satoshi calls after Kasyr, conjured wings of ice a-fluttering, "Don't kill it~."

Narrator || The goatlike rabbit kisses Svilfon on the nose and scampers off, zigzagging around the courtyard

Raziel nods to Bones, and then when he leaves she snickers. "No worries little ones." she'd say, holding back laughter at Bones's reaction.

Nymh whispered something to Thea.

Svilfon is quietly thankful he never had much dignity to lose in the first place.

Thea whispered something to Nymh.

Rabbits are not a pixie's best friend

Narrator || Nymh, having missed the black-winged, long-eared bunny hurtling towards him, would find himself quite bowled over by it.

Ayameko vanished before your eyes, perhaps never to be seen again.

Bones would change his course to go for that bunny that had been cheeky enough to kiss Svilfon, not even bothering to announce his intentions - that rabbit would be his, damn it! He'd take a wild swing towards the rabbit, hellbent on capturing it. It was a pity he wasn't exactly the speediest thing.

Thea blinks at her conversational companion being pummeled by a...bunny? A small chuckle escapes the Pixie as she moves to give chase.

Tysinni is now on her feet, ungainly as though she was at the moment and looks around at the pandemonium going on. Blinking, she tilts her head up to look at some of the other rabbits, staring at a particular one that seemed to be avoiding everyone quite handily. "Fluffy..." A silly, loopy smile on her face, she limps off after it.

Raziel would smile, and bend down to scratch one of the five bunnies behind the ear.

Calcifier looks around the courtyard enjoying the sounds of merriment around him.

Satoshi ate all of Svilfon's dignity, because bunnies are too difficult to catch in a dress.

Ranok chuckles as Gwen races off on her impromptu mount. He surveys the rest of the grounds. The slowly spreading havoc about the courtyard pleased him greatly. Though, Korra's bloodthirsty attempts for the rabbit made him glance at the giant metal monstrosity sitting next to the entrance to the courtyard, a silly thing in its pixie outfit, but sentinel nonetheless. The man ducks to avoid a rabbit sailing by his head and knocking off his abused fedora. His wings let off trails of wispy light as they're intersected by this and that. He was keeping and eye on Korra most of all, however. If she became a danger to the guests, he would step in.

Narrator || Gwenilyn is taken on the ride of her life, up hill, down dale, through Ranok's legs, over Tysinni's head, right past Nymh and barely missing Thea - it bounces off Svilfon, plants itself on Satoshi's chest, and launches itself towards sanctuary: Raziel. But look out Gwenilyn! Is that a large undead Preklek (Bones) in the path of your flight? Better do something!

Korra : Of course it did, and so of course Korra found herself pancaked against the wall, entirely cartoon-style. She even had to almost peel herself off of it, and it took a few moments for her to adjust her face's alignment, setting it back to normal. She staggered about for a moment, looking dazed and somewhat confused, and then turned and looked for someone to help set her straight--nearest person to her was that one over there with the icy, dust-dripping wings, and she moved in that general direction, wings held out low for balance. "You, in the blue. C'mere a moment, I have a bit of a favor to ask of you."

Nymh before he can respond to Thea, he is knocked backwards through the kitchen... or rather, displaced, carried along with the thing, by an unnoticed bunny. The handkerchief Thea had handed him flutters to the ground as he is carried away in the blink of an eye.

Bones widened his eye at that sudden change. Oh jeez. Incoming Gwenilyn. And he was deadset on his path.

Raziel hears another bunny shoot under her dress to go behind her. Six bunnies now finding safety behind her. A little chuckle would escape the woman. "Seems I've got some friends for a little bit." the elf woman would say to herself.

Narrator || Kasyr will be standing there for a while, as Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny does not know the meaning of surrender, or fatigue, or meaning, or pretty much any word in the dictionary. But boy-o-boy does it know how to move!

Tysinni windmills wildly with one arm, the other still firmly in its sling, as a rabbit being rode by Gwen leaps over her head. "Ack!" She spins around on her good leg and falls right into someone. "Flying fluffy!"

Satoshi has just been violated by a bunny, and the little bastard didn't even buy her dinner. "Oi! I have a strict Look but Don't Touch policy!" she calls after the offending furball before she stalks after it, tails bristling. Korra is given a look, and brief, "After I strangle a rabbit." before she continues on after her attacker. She is -not- a springboard for -any- rabbit.

Thea takes flight after the ebon furred flying rabbit, hovering there over Nymh a moment, "Quite alright then?", she asks before darting off after the assailant.

Svilfon drags himself back to his feet after being used as a bunny-doormat. He skulks over to a corner to spend some time being abused by his parrot-bag.

Raziel hears Satoshi coming her way for the rabbit that jumped onto her chest and would carefully take a step back, to hide the six little furballs beneath her skirt.

Narrator || The rabbit fleeing the prone Svilfon is hooked by Bones! Oh no! But while it is caught, another bounces off Bones, burping glitter in his eyes, and of course there is also Gwen incoming on her rabbity mount!

Ranok cannot help but be amused by the one woman in the clearing not trying to capture the bunnies in some way is technically in the lead for the contest. The man would leave the nets for anyone who wished to pick one up, and go to Ty to check on her. Over the night, the woman had been progressively checking out more and more of reality.

Satoshi halts in front of Raziel, eyeing her and her rabbit-hiding skirts. "You're harboring a criminal, step aside!"

Bones catches a rabbit, is bumped by a rabbit, and is probably going to get smacked by Gwenilyn. He'd stop where he was, sneezing uncontrollably. "God...damn...rabbits! Argh!" He'd shake his head, Gwenilyn and all others momentarily forgotten. But he had the rabbit. At least, for now.

Narrator || Thea will find the long-eared black bunny a feisty one, leading her over Svilfon, past Kasyr, and over to Raziel, who was rapidly becoming the patron saint of bunnies. Nymh, alas, will not find his bunny woes ended, as a fluffy white one lands next to him and blinks at him, twitching its nose

Raziel crosses her arms at Sato's words. She is blind, so she cannot be intimidated by looks... And she clearly has no clue who she's talking to, at that. "Not a clue what you mean."

Thea 's eyes widen considerably at the colorful language flying, though her focus is on that evasive bunny, finally making headway as she grabs one of his large back feet, "Aha!"

Ranok || Any successfully caught rabbits would instantly turn docile and placidly sit in the designated cage made of twined vines, allowing people to catch more then they can carry. It would be wise to keep count of your own catches, however, in the chaos of the courtyard.

Gwenilyn :: Having finally worn her winged steed down, Gwen entangles the furry beastie in vines to prevent its escape. It can be seen that the six inch fae leads that trussed up bunny back to Ranok with some effort. "Ranok dear? Help me get these things inside before I lose both of them?' She will head back into the Temple to dump the vinebound bunny n the appropriate receptacle, praying Ranok is sweet enough to help with the other. She will glare at the scorekeeper, if there is one and mutter, 'Two, got it? I'll be back!' sounding disturbingly like the Terminator.

Narrator || Tysinni is lead round the garden path, as it were, between the legs of a sentinel past Satoshi, and over to Bunny Queen Raziel, who by now must be wandering what in the blazes was going on.

Korra took another step and blinked, watching the person moving off to find a bunny. Well. Now what. She put her hands on her hips and vibrated lightly, then looked about for someone else to help her out. "You'd think a girl could find a bit of assistance with so many people about," she complained somewhat loudly, and then her attention was entirely diverted by who else but her old nemesis, that one that could turn into a butterfly. Or at least one that was very similar. Alright, time to do this properly. She got down low and spread out her arms, splitting them at the elbow to give her four half-hands. She folded her wings in tight and slunk quietly forward, trying to ambush the rabbit rather than charge after it.

Raziel would hear yet another bunny hiding beneath her. That would make 7 bunnies hiding beneath the woman's skirt... Or is that 6 bunnies and 1 criminal?

Satoshi puffs out her cheeks in a childish expression of annoyance before stalking off to collect one of the dropped nets. Hefting the item, she returns to the rabbit saint, net held high as she grins. "Send out the criminal, or you and your friends get it~." The net is waved threateningly, Satoshi oblivious to Raziel's lack of sight.

Raziel oocly turns 7 to 8! >>

Tysinni looks up and spots Ranok, that silly smile still on her face. "Dezro! Did you know that there are flying demons about?" Leaning close to him, she'd whisper loudly, nearly losing her balance in the process. "They look like rabbits though...shhhhh...don't say anything or they'll be onto us." Spotting a nearby rabbit, she raises her voice to yell at it, "Oy! Thumper! Go back to your devil master, you!"

Thea marks one for herself as the little scamp is tucked under an arm, viridian eyes darting back towards poor Nymh, "Grab him by the foot!"

Bones seemingly wouldn't be gobsmacked by Gwenilyn, so once he'd cleared the glitter out of his eyes (and stopped sneezing) He'd make his way over to Ranok, red eye blinking furiously. "I am quickly becoming a conscientious objector to the capturing of these rabbits...they used glitter. And that's cheating." He'd hand the net over and grab another, warily stalking rabbits this time.

Nymh stares into the eyes of one the fiercest creatures to try to make a chew toy of him since he came to the surface world... He had barely stood up when the think was just there... staring at him, with that big, inquisitive eye. He stands proudly before it, trying not to seem intimidated, but when the bunny lent it's whiskered nose forward to sniff him... Nymh yelped and dove under something, anything, to get away from the white rabbit.

Ranok said to Bones, "Perhaps you might try sweet talking one into being caught? They do seem partial to kindness, as you see with the blind elf over there."

Kasyr acknowledges Satoshis' request with a wry smirk and a shake of his head, before he returns to his observation of the dextrous darting sparrabbit that has been assigned as his target. With his increasing awareness that the critters haste seemed to be boundless, the vampire merely hunches over- the shape of his back beginning to contort and swell. It's only than that a peculiarity of the vests design becomes apparent, the growing tension as flesh pushes against fabric revealing a pair of 'cuts' in the back of the clothing. Their purpose is made amply clear when a grotesque surge of flesh and blood sprays out from Kasyrs back, heralding the rapid formation of a pair of Leathery wings. Hence prepared, the Kensai abruptly darts out after the white & silver Sparrabbit, armed with naught more than single-minded purpose...and a tophat to jam the critter into.

Raziel blinks twice and shrugs "I don't believe I'm harboring a criminal." she'd then rub her pure white eye as she hears the net being waved about. She'd then realize that she is now harboring a rediculous amount of bunnies, and doesn't move her feet so as to not harm them.

Ranok ooc: 'successfully caught' being with one of the nets, as they're enchanted to key the spell that calms them. By hands or other means makes them keep spitting hellfire and hopping over the place. Hence why Ranok strongly suggested the nets.

Thea nearly facepalms at Nymh's reaction and moves toward him, black rabbit still in her grasp, "For goodness sakes, Nymh..it's just a bun...", she doesn't even get to finish before it hops up and plants both hind feet right into her mouth and uses her tongue as a proverbial springboard. A slew of muttered curses followed by a multitude of spitting noises is then heard from the Pixie.

Gwenilyn :: Hopefully Ranok has deposited the second bunny for her, or else she had scurried back and taken it from him. Regardless, the fae marches forth with a martial light in her eyes, looking for that perfect bunny to conquer.....

Satoshi doesn't mince words any longer with the Bunny Queen. Instead, she opts for hurling the net out in an attempt to envelope the elf and the furry renegades she's hiding.

Bones turned back to Ranok, at that. He gestured to himself as a whole. "Sweet talk. A monster. Sweet talk. I...I'm sorry, but that's one helluva joke." He'd drop his net then and abruptly walk over to Raziel and seat himself on the ground next to her. "To hell with catching rabbits. It's far more amusing to watch." He hadn't really payed attention to this talk of...harboring criminals and whatnot. He damn well knew the rabbits were there, but he'd do nothing about it. No more.

Thea angrily heads for one of the nets, scooping up her previously caught, hell-fire spitting little bundle into the confines of it. She sighs and looks at Nymh, a slender index finger pointing to another free net, "Use one of these and get him! He assaulted me!"

Kumorohyou quietly wanders into the party, the shaman's Spirit projecting a pair of Fae wings on his back. The wings are pale-turquoise, with an inner pattern of parallel-running geometric lines and shapes, giving it the appearance of a circuit board. Of course, it would bear little significance other than that of an interesting design.

Satoshi is beginning to think these rabbits have it out for Royalty. The little fiends!

Bones might allow the ghost of a smile to creep onto his face at Satoshi's efforts. THis should be amusing.

Narrator || A moment of Victory is sweet for Thea! And shortlived, as she is right in the path of two fleeing bunnies, one descending to land right where she stands, and one scampering helter-skelter and straight for her back, too fast to stop itself. Thea, by this time, is very close to Raziel and Satoshi.

Nymh protests from under the... whatever the blazes he was under... "They tried to eat me!" He seems adamant about not coming out, can be heard muttering frantically to himself about "furry, rotten, evil things"...

Raziel simply takes getting attacked with the net, but not before she says "Run, bunnies, run!" hoping the multiple little bunnies would be able to escape before Sato could net all of them, plus Raz.

Thea shakes her head and decides to simply stand still as a tree, offering refuge to the animals as she would in nature. One way or another, she would catch this little bugger.

Thea picked up 1 Heavy Knotted Throwing Net .

Narrator || Korra's focus is exemplary, and while her Caramel Bunny Nemesis approaches in all ignorance of her skilled trap, she reacts too late to a pair of white bunnies who use her head and shoulders to launch themselves away from one of the other pursuing guests

Narrator || Satoshi is struck from behind by fleeing rabbits - the nerve! Fuzzy impacts to knee, back, and shoulder may well knock the foxkin askew!

Ranok pats Ty on the cheek and picks up a net himself. He'd catch one for the thief to keep herself occupied. He spots a likely candidate: a motted winged speckled bunny. Net in hand, he stalks his target stealthily to get closer before it hops away and into the madness.

Bones watched as the rabbits fled for their little lives, laughing - yes, laughing - for a change.. This was all vastly amusing, his eye darting every which way to try and catch the sights.

Gwenilyn :: 'Ah ha!' and off she speeds to wreak vegeance on the two bunnies daring ot assault her friend. By this time, Gwen's neatly coifed hair is in ruins, dirt spatters her gown and a few jewels may have come loose to dro at Tysinni's fee. heedless of all this, the intrepid bunny hunter times her cast of the net to hopefully catch the one heading for Thea's back before the queen is thumped facefirst into the dit.

Raziel simply cracks up at the bunny attack on Sato, as she tries to pull the net from her. Truly, she doesn't know who and who isn't royalty, and so she wouldn't be realizing she just laughed at the queen of her boyfriend's home.

Thea falls forward a bit as little feet thump her right between the wings. Her eyes narrow and she tosses out her net, catching the hind quarters of the little bastard who then falls while trying to free himself.

Korra let out a very strange and inhuman noise at the two bunnies that bounded over her and leaped up from the ground flailing and spitting particularly nasty curses. She stopped and stood still, twitching and shaking, glaring after wherever the rabbits may have gone--and then she whirled and tried to pounce at where her nemesis had just been, but in all likelihood he wasn't there anymore and she'd find herself empty-handed again.

Kumorohyou said to Ranok, "Looks like I haven't missed anything."

Narrator || Nymh's rabbit as afflicted with a bout of the curiosities! Not being a cat, it has no need to worry, after all. The fluffy bunny stalks Nymh, whiskered nose twitching as it snuffles at the pixie in a cuteness-of-doom kind of way.

Ranok chuckles, saying aside to Kumo, "No, friend, you haven't. Please, grab a net and feel free to wrangle as many varmints as you wish."

Satoshi has faced dragons, giants, Time Lords, tieflings, and haunted ships, but these rabbits... these rabbits take the cake. With a frustrated sigh the kit waves a figurative white flag and takes a seat near Bones, surrendering to the diabolic bunnies while sulkily plucking up bits of grass to pile upon her lap.

Raziel would toss the net aside and kneel down "Here little bunnies... It's safe now, you can all come back!" her voice is soft, gentle, and kind to the troop of 8 rabbits.

Nymh screams helplessly from under... whatever he was hiding under, he still hadn't a clue... and tries furiously to back away from the monstrous creature. He had been on the surface long enough to know that four legged furry creatures often enough found wingless prey such as he appetizing. The nightmarish ball of fluff was terrorizing him, to no end!

Clash of the Titans: Kasyr and the Blitz Bunny of Doom

Narrator || Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny sees Kasyr coming! The horror! But if Kasyr's like a bat out of hell, it's the bunny who's gone when the morning (or Tiefling) comes. The chase is on! Through Bone's legs, past Tysinni, rebounding off Satoshi, and heading straight towards the hedges.

Bones nudged Satoshi a little, if only to get her attention. "These rabbits are infernal little beasties, aren't they." Of course, giving that this was an undead preklek, she might be taken by surprise. Not that he intended for her to be.

Bones looks down at that rabbit...and then it's gone. "Did one just...gah."

Kumorohyou watches as the bunnies and participants move to and fro, the panther quite content to watch. Folding his arms, the armored panther chuckles softly before one white rabbt somehow builds up enough air to bounce feet-first right off of the shaman's translucent visor. A slight look of shock can be seen in his glowing blue eyes, Kumori looking around the party as if he were about to ask, ~Who threw that?~

Tysinni watches Ranok take off after patting her on the cheek and nearly loses her balance. Again. Stumbling slightly, she lands wrong on her injured leg and winces at a shooting pain that assails her. Its quickly blocked by her meds and she's free to toddle (read limp) off in search of more entertainment. Which is about the moment that a smaller version of her friend streaks by, causing the muddled thief to freeze in place. Blinking down at the ground, she peers at several small glittery things the fae had seemed to lose as she was rushing by. What the hell was that? Leaning way over, nearly bent in half, Ty inspects the ground, trying to figure out why it was sparkling so much. "Shiny...."

Satoshi is nudged by a rabbit and a preklek alike, but by this point she's resigned herself to her fate and simply huffs in response. That is, until Bones asks a question, to which she leans closer and whispers, "Spawns of the purest evil, I tell you. See the way their eyes gleam like that? No goodly creature has eyes like that."

Ranok said to Satoshi, "Uchawiman made them. You...might be right. Ah, well."

Satoshi gives Ranok a look of pure horror. That explains -everything-.

Bones nodded sagely at Satoshi's words. "And I thought I was a monstrous abomination. These things are pure hellspawn. I'm Bones, by the way. But seriously. Damn these rabbits...they will drive me to insomnia."

Ranok gives Sato a grin as he stalks his bunny target, "Still want to eat one?"

Narrator || Korra may have missed her prey, but she can see the Caramel Bunny quite clearly. It is one of the rabbits which just bounced off of Satoshi!

Gwenilyn :: Seeing tat Thea has made a fastercast of the net than she herself, Gwen snages her net in midair and pelts off after another likely target. Ofcourse, it would be nice if one would just to her~ instead of the otherway around, but, eh, that's life in the world of maic and enchantment.

Narrator || Empress of Rabbitkind Raziel would swiftly find her skirt home to 11 bunnies, as more seek sanctuary. It might be getting a bit crowded under that dress.

Satoshi said to Bones, "Satoshi Azakhaer, bunny-magnet." Another blade of grass is plucked then and offered to a passing plump blue rabbit, to test a theory mentioned by another earlier, before she continues, "If they're made by the Frog, then they'll do more than drive you to insomnia."

Raziel would sit down to rest her ankle and, should any more bunnies come about, she'd allow them to sit in her lap, and find safety there for now. As she sits the shadow familiar from before appears near her, giving her quite the prod in the arm the fade away again.

Satoshi most definitely still wants to try and eat one of the rabbits, but that can wait.

Bones said to Satoshi, ""Insomnia's the least of my worries? Isn't that just lovely." He'd extend one gnarled hand towards her, all whilst keeping his eyes on what she was doing. Hell, it just might work. "A pleasure, Satoshi.""

Korra pounded the ground with a fist--and then looked up and saw her caramel-colored prey, and went back into stalk mode, moving just a little bit faster and determined to not freak out this time if more bunnies used her for a springboard. This thing deserved a special treatment now, maybe... getting turned inside-out would be a start. But first, she needed to catch it, and so she went stalking.

Raziel sighs when she finds too many bunnies for her lap and stands up once more. On the bright side, there's plenty room under her gown for it is fairly poofy. She does giggle a bit though at the silliness.

Narrator || While Thea bundles up her now-docile flopsy assailent, the fluffy ball of curiosity pursuing Nymh continues, and gives the pixie a little kiss. Adorable, really. Are rabbits meat-eaters? Of course not. Did the Uchawiman know that when he made these? Who can say?

Ranok is trying to keep track of who has caught how many bunnies, and requests a quick count via tell for those that snagged one.

Narrator || Gwenilyn's wish is granted sooner than she might like, as a horde of five rabbits comme scampering towards her in flight from Kasyr's swift movements pursuing the Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny. Prepare yourself Gwen, for an avalanch of fuzzy cuteness!

Kumorohyou watches as Korra stalks a caramel rabbit, the panther eyeing the insectoid from behind his own exoskeletal visor. Kumori is curious as to how well she is able to hunt with this much distraction around her.

Nymh screams silently as the abomination touches him. He was rigid with terror, and shaking uncontrollably, whilst trying to stay still, in the hopes that the thing would go away without biting off a few chunks first. This day had gone so terribly, terribly wrong.

Satoshi regards the offered hand silently a moment then shrugs helplessly, offering her left hand instead of the traditional right. If Bones was observant enough, he might have noticed Satoshi hasn't moved that arm once since arriving, and the mist-weave shawl gathered about her shoulders glistens a fair deal more on that side of her body, where the limb has been relatively replaced by ice. "A pleasure and such. Any bets on what these rabbits taste like?" The last bit is whispered, so as not to spook away the nearby critters she's trying to draw in with grassy morsels.

Thea strides over to Nymh and hands him the two netted rabbits, "Harmless, see?", she says with a smile then moves towards the exit, calling out her farewells to Gwen and a few others as she goes, "Enjoy your evening, Gwen. I must be off."

Narrator || Speaking of Bunny Magnets, Bones and Satoshi are likewise in the direct path of about 12 different bunnies fleeing in every which way. Heads, shoulders, hip, lap, leg - you name it, there's a fluffball coming at it! Think quickly, lest you be undone in bunny doom!

Bones grinned wickedly at that last bit after shaking her hand, humming some before moving over. "Wellll...they look kind of meaty...but magical, too. Might taste spicy."

Bones widened his eyes after saying that. "Oh, for the love of..." And then he was tackleglomped. By bunnies. Ack.

Gwenilyn :: Smeting makes the fae turn in midair to see not one, not two, not three, but five crazed bunnies bearing down on her like the plague. Fearlessly she swings her net, over her head and hopefully with sure am to capture al five at once, magic having expanded her net appropriately... Of course, that is allowed. If not, Gwen will hope to at least capture one or two before being pummelled by rabbits' feet. what kinda luck would that be, really?!

Satoshi isn't as helpless as Bones, scrambling for the net Raziel tossed off and unfurling it in hopes of roping a few of the would-be-tacklers, rather than be dubbed a springboard another dozen times.

Kasyr can't help but be minorly impressed at the chase the little creature is giving him- an admiration that is only furthered by the little bastards shenanigans. As adeptly as the little rascal weaves to and fro, the vampire does he best to keep pursuit- swerving past partygoers with growing confidance. For a brief moment, he almost holds a hope that he'll get an assist from his wife- but the nimble creatures richochet dashes that thought upon the proverbial rocks. Faced with the imminent possibility of a collision with his wife, the vampire promptly beckons one of his myriad blackened blades into existance, if only so he can drive it into the ground and use it as an impromptu anchor- thereby forcing himself into a brusque turn to at once avoid a haphazard headbutt to his wife and send him back on course after the Sparrabbit. That maneuver finished, the blades simply dispelled and the vampires back on course, albeit with a sore arm.

Tysinni is still standing in the middle of the chaos, staring at the ground in fascination. When another one or two of the furry demons cross her vision, she blinks and looks up, worriedly peering around as if not remembering what she was doing there. "Spiders!" Letting out a yell, the thief goes limping off at a fast pace, heading to the other end of the yard. Were there spiders? One will probably never know.

Satoshi is beginning to think her fur is charged with too much static, what with all the creatures big and small being drawn to her rather violently.

Raziel laughs and then turns to Ranok just a bit, calling out softly "Sir Ranok. I do believe I don't need a net." at that she'd quickly take a side step, the 11 harbored rabbits to be shown... Though they'd probably shoot back under not long after. There would be a big smile on the young elfs face, as well.

Narrator || The Caramel-Beret Jungle-Bunny knew it was being followed. Knew it like the sound of foxes in the shrubs. Yes, it knew how to deal with foxes. Back in Jangal, it had dealt with many, it was a -veteran- gorramit! ...which might all be fantasies of Korra's twisted psyche. Who knows? But the rabbit was certain damn tricksy, and bounds from sentinel to Satoshi to a hedge, then over Raziel for a stealth-burp of flame on her tail, and a... well... not to put too fine a point on it, cloud of glitter from where one would have expected something a bit smellier to have come from. The bunny leaps away in aerobatic glory!

Ranok returns to stalking his rabbit...and then springs at it. His wings out furl in a useless effect, as they couldn't actually stabilize him, being made entirely of light. He tried to time his capture of the rabbit so when it jumped, it would go into his net instead. He had a reckless disregard for staining his suit on the grass. It would clean out. Probably.

Bones was helpless against the rabbit onslaught, eye staring desperately at Satoshi. "Get 'em off!"

Satoshi twitches as yet another rabbit bounces off her, but she does as Bones begs and drops the net over him to capture the clingers that haven't already become entangled in the ropes from the initial collision.

Narrator || Oh! Tragedy for bunnykind! Satoshi nets three, Gwen nets all five! There is no cheating in love, warfare, and bunnies. But Gwen might find the weight of those five bunnies on top of her a slight issue...

Satoshi hauls her captures off Bones to be confined in one of the provided cages. Three down... far too many to go. Face set with determination, Satoshi stalks after the nearest bunch of bunnies, net at the ready. "C'mere, little marshmallows..."

Narrator || The Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny uses the break to bounce off Ranok and come hurtling at Kasyr as he is forced to halt his own momentum. Will the Blitz Bunny knock Kasyr off his sword-anchor? Will Blitz bunny be undone? Await with bated breath the outcome of this clash of titans!

Korra hadn't even gotten around to properly pouncing it yet, and decided this was far too much work and that she could find a nice, stupid frog to tear open later. She rose back up and allowed her hands to come together again. She looked about for Bones and, upon locating him and the fact that he appeared to be near-covered in the infernal rabbits, made another, different, higher-pitched noise and stormed towards him, picking up one of the various nets that was laying on the ground and throwing it at them. Stupid good-for-nothing rabbits, hopefully they'd all be caught.

Narrator || Oh no Tysinni! Don't stand there! You've got about 8 rabbits passing right through that area at highspeed! Didn't you see the rabbit-crossing signs? Wait, we knew Ranok forgot -something-

Bones pumped his fist in the air triumphantly as Satoshi left. "Get 'em, Satoshi!" And then he was thwacked squarely in the face with a net. He'd promptly fall backwards with a thwump, blinking. Well..."Ow."

Gwenilyn :: Never one to worry about consequences, the five are caught and the fae lets out a shout of victory which turns into a scream of terror as she is pummelled anyway by TEN bunny feet! Quick as a bunny (pardon the pun!) a pop! and a shower of dust, and the fae is human sized once again. An after affect of fae dust is that from a true fae it acts as a sleeping potion to winged bunnies, in case one were to wonder. Triumphantly, the fae hauls her catch to the keeper and tosses the little darlings into the pen. 'That makes SEVEN!!!'

Narrator || Ranok finds himself in the path of about five different fleeing fuzzballs! No, not the man's kneecaps! The Lapinity of it all! Won't somebody think of the bunnies?

Raziel laughs gleefully at all of this and then kneels down to the bunnies. "Hey, little ones. I do believe you should join the fun. But all stay together. You're stronger as a team, savvy? Ok, so I think you should all charge someone, and if you feel in trouble come back." the tricksy elf woman would then straighten up with a smirk up her face.

Satoshi demands a net that's more one-arm friendly. Some of us are handicapped, dammit!

Narrator || Bunnies, bunnies everywhere, and quite a few deciding Satoshi made for a wonderful launchpad. No, not the face! Why is it always the face! Duck, Satoshi! No, not into the path of the other rabbits! Evade like a Blitz Bunny!

Narrator || Calamity! Korra nets five of them! The horror!

Satoshi does the best she can in the evade and capture game, meaning she plants her slippered feet on the bottom edge of her net while holding the top high and taking refuge from the onslaught of bunnies behind it. One can hope the little bastards will be caught when they attempt to bounce off her net-shield.

Tysinni is on the run from invisible spiders when suddenly, several fluffy balls of fur speed past her, their wings and tails bouncing right into her field of vision. "DEMONS!" Letting out a rather loud yodel-like yell, the thief throws herself at the flock of flying rabbits, heedless of her injured limbs. Perhaps she was finally trying to go for that swim she wanted.

Ranok braces himself for the storm of bunnies. He weathers it like a true man only can, stoically sinking up his knees in fur and wings and they trample past him. What a hero. When it was weathered, he again goes on his chase for the fleet winged bunny. He would catch the damn thing! "I am your master! Obey me!" That never, ever worked.

Kasyr is more than willing to engage the winged wabbit in a high speed game of chicken (despite it being a sparrow)~ After all, though one hand is busy keeping the vampire 'anchored', the Kensai yet remains prepared! The moment the lightning-Lapines' lunge brings it ready to collide with the Kensai- his other hand darts out to plow his still clutched tophat into the crazy critter, every intention of using his momentum to properly ensnare the wonder rabbit. "I'm not left handed." Well. That, may or may not be a lie. But it sounds good.

Narrator || For whom does the bell toll? It tolls for thee, Korra! General of Rabbitkind Raziel sends forth her army! Fifteen bunnies had taken sanctuary in her dress (Oh my! The scandal!) and her army leaps off to Korra, each discharging a cloud of glitter in the abomination's face before attempting a quick turnabout! Will Korra end up as a launchpad once more? Will the brave little army return intact? Will the shows ratings improve if they are captured tragically? All this and more after the break

Gwenilyn :: Seeming to have better luck in her smaller size, Gwen hs already revered to Faerie size, net swinging rather ominously. This is war! Though goodness gracious, such a fun one! The reckless fae takes to the air, searching for another bunny with which t wretle.

Korra continued stalking over--until she realized she'd caught Bones -and- five of those miserable rabbits! Hooray! She laughed and danced about, sorta African tribal style only entirely made up off the top of her head, and then clapped her hands and sitting down next to Bones--whom she did not make any effort to remove the net from because that might make the bunnies run away again. "I got some!" she said, grinning at him. "See? See the bunnies I caught?"

Narrator || Oh no! Tysinni! What have you done? You've landed face first on a rabbit! Nice capture! Aww, look at that, it licked her nose. But now, over to Satoshi who has boosted her tally by yet another vicious, regicidal rabbit!

Korra is suddenly beset upon by a cloud of awful, hated glitter and flurry of rabbits--she shrieked and swung her arms and wings in a blind rage, trying to strike something--anything--fuzzy with her claws.

Bones blinked, nodding slowly. Rabbits everywhere. "You....most certainly did. Erm...can you get these bunnies off me? They're cuddly."

Satoshi spots her earlier offender skittering along with the rest of Raziel's brood. "You..." Without a care for the other rabbits around her, the kit charges, battered net at the ready as she approaches the troops and pounces. She's got eyes only for the little bastard that got pawsy with her, but additional casualties are just a bonus in this war.

Satoshi shouted, "I have you now, fiend!"

Raziel would hear Sato's words and call out "Retreat, bunnies, retreat!" waving her arms above her head.

Narrator || Oh! Vile Calumny! Would the Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny sink so low? It does! It burps out a gust of flame at that tophat, scorching and searing the inside of it as it bursts through the weakened material and goes 'thock' against Kasyr's chest! Alas, whether that impact knocks Kasyr off-balance or not, Blitz Bunny is stunned by Kasyr's manly pecs! Oh no! Is this the end of the Hat-Slaying Sparrow-winged Blitz Bunny?

Tysinni blinks blearily as she looks at the fuzzy demon licking her face. "Stop..gar! Atrocious fluff-tailed rodent!" Groaning in pain, she momentarily focuses long enough to roll herself over and reach out to grab her captured bunny and stuff it into a net laying nearby on the ground. "I'll see you in hell!" Really, she wouldn't hurt it, but she did think it was a devil. Maybe a minor one. Her pains quickly disappear, combated by the fine drugs she was given before the party. Holding her netted bunny up with her good arm, she starts hollering, "The magic is mine!"

Narrator || Yes, Gwenilyn, your instincts are true, you diminutive hunter of bunnies you! The rabbits don't think twice about trying to escape -through- you! And here's another three! One from above, one from the side, one from the back! Oh the insanity! What will you do, Gwen?

Satoshi's dignity went out the window when a rabbit used her chest as a launchpad, so pouncing a herd of the furry buggers is little more than payback.

Narrator || Oh no! Korra! So violent! Three bunnies Pop! into ethereal, glittery butterflies as the abomination's claws pass through them. Those three, alas, are thus slow to escape Satoshi's wrath, while the other twelve return in fuzzy triumph!

Raziel pulls a wooden flute from her boot and begins playing a song that shall be titled "March of the Hell Bunnies" hoping it will summon her bunnies back to her... Or call out another potential attack... Let's let the bunnies decide.

Kasyr isn't quite knocked off balance, given his momentum, but that's not to say he isn't stunned in his own right. He is, in fact, in shock and aware at the destruction his poor hat has suffered at the han...paws of the Blitz Bunny. Enough so that he momentarily isn't paying attention to where he's going, and ends up crashing into the ground in a rather unpleasent head over heels type affair- his bunny bounty clutched to his chest alongside his heated and hole-y hat.

Satoshi takes a moment from her victory to return hair, dress, and icy wings into a semblance of order once more. And then she's off to find more of the long-earred hellions.

Korra made a sound somewhere between a snarl, a roar, and a cricket's chirping. She reached for the net and got to her feet, grabbing it in a way that would hopefully keep at least one bunny inside while the net was pulled off of Bones. She'd then hold it close and stalk out the front door--enough of this madness, she'd caught some bunnies and no longer felt like putting up with any more of them.

Kasyr said, "My hat..."

Raziel, General of Rabbitkind

Gwenilyn ;; Eeeeps! Blitz attack! With three bunnies seemingly intent on he personal destruction, Gwen waits for it... waits for it.... and Bam! Just before all three bunnies collide on her person, the fae flits fearlessly out and above the three assailants to masterfully undermine that dastardly attmpt. A collision mid air of bunnies and wings and dust, thy find themselves stunned.... Gwen casts the nets to snare them before they hit Ty on the head. (Having been in that immediate vicinity, of course) The bunnies are securely entangled not in Ty's hair, but in vines. popping! once again, the full sized fae fairly dances with her trophies back t the pen and cries, 'ha! Take that you furry assisins!' and throws them in the pen.. "TEN!"

Narrator || What manner of hellish music was this? Korra finds herself assailed by a horde of glitter-burping, butterfly-transforming winged bunnies! They work at any cost to keep their kin uneaten! Like fuzzy self-launched cannonballs, they commence a rabbit assault!

Lahk returns to the festivities, only to find that the pleasant dance has turned into an aerial rabbit run, with the tiny packages of fuzzy fur seemingly bouncing off the walls of the courtyard. Watching the party denizens trying to split hares with their claws and bag bunnies any way they can, he proceeds to the remains of the buffet. Collecting cut bits of carrot from the platters thereon and wielding them as orange daggers, he proceeds to face the fray. With crudité. Sword-play.

Ranok finally catches his intended target in his own net. The creature stares at him with wide eyes. "Damn do these things put up a fight." Kasry wasn't the only one who's hat was victim. Ranok's own laid in the grass, crumpled by net and bunny alike. It would no doubt be scooped up some wandering rabbit. He gives his captured rabbit to Gwen for her to put in the pen, "Here, Gwen."

Bones would simply watch the assault on Korra, laughing wholeheartedly - oh, this was too good. Far too good - here was Korra the great, being assaulted by glittery bunnies. Oh the humanity...and the hilarity.

Narrator || A moment of Silence for Kasyr's hat, please, and then a brisk 'Huzzah!' for his victory over the Hat-Slaying, Sparrow-Winged Blitz Bunny o'Doom!

Raziel continues to play her song, hopes high that no harm shall befall her remaining rabbit army. Event though she was so shy earlier, the young elven maiden seemed to be enjoying herself rather brilliantly.

Korra stopped. Just froze there, hammered on all sides, practically buried alive in bunnies. A low hiss began emanating from the dog-pile--that is, bunny-pile--and Korra laid down her net, turning in upside-down so that the bunnies would still be inside--or well, tried very hard to, it was difficult to move properly with all these bunnies hitting her every which way--and then with a shriek she forced her last meal or two into her skin--since she fed on electromagnetic energy, any bunny that touched her for several seconds would likely feel as if it had shaken hands with an electric eel who'd just come from a failed job interview. Korra hoped there'd be smoke, but even if there wasn't--if it kept the bunnies off of her, she'd be happy. Well, until she sorta collapsed from the effort, laying there motionless.

Narrator || Oh Lahk, what have you done? You brought a carrot to a bunny fight! And they're everywhere! Six hungry little varmints have at your weapons! *chomp!* *Chew* *Earflop* *Nosetwitch* You are under an assault of the most deadly cuteness! What will you do?

Kasyr remains sprawled on the ground, wings splayed out across the grass, "I'm good- I'd rather not tempt fate et end up with a torched Vest, madamoiselle." Thus stated, the Kensai lazily stretches out his arms to deposit the Beaten Blitz Bunny in Satoshis' net.

Bones stopped instantly, standing up and moving over to Korra - he'd lift her before he'd tilt his head. "Korra. Awake? Come on. Wake up, sleepy."

Narrator || There is a spectacular eruption of glitter around Korra as the bunnies vanish in a fabulous chorus of pops! Pop pop pop pop pop pop! (Oh No!) But wait, be not downhearted! The Uchawiman crafted his madness well, and a horde of butterflies form back in the glitter to settle on Raziel like a shimmering dress. And then they turn into rabbits. Raziel, dear General of Rabbitkind, can you carry the weight of 50-odd clinging bunnies?

Tysinni is still holding her prize aloft when the small-sized Gwen comes barreling towards her, chasing a few bunnies. Wide-eyed and open mouthed, the addlepated thief watches in horror as the terrifying creatures head straight for her. In her mind, to release their captured comrade. "Noooo! Somebody get the pineapples!" Which is about the time that Gwen captures Ty's 'attackers'. Sighing with relief, she waves the poor bunny filled net around, still yelling strange things, that obviously make sense to her. "I captured their leader! Time for talkies!" Dropping the full net in her lap, she reaches in with her good hand and grabs the unresisting bunny by the scruff of the neck and holds it up to her own face. "What are you after? Why have you invaded us? WHAT ARE YOU?"

Lahk is besieged by bunnies! Harried by hares! His weapons are useless against them, as they nibble and nip at the carroty rapiers with which he parries their cuteness. The fuzzy varmints have fallen for the lure though, and led themselves right to the wolf in wolf's clothing. He snarls wide and snatches at the capering coneys, hoping to snag a prize alive.

Raziel is shocked to find bunnies clinging to her gown and nearly tumbles over, laughing a bit. "Good work, soldiers!" she giggles. "At ease!"

Korra lay there pretty much limp in Bones' arms for a moment--and then her eyes snapped open and her claws shot out for his throat--then right as she might have grabbed him she stopped and just sort of shivered. "Bones," she said, "Are there any of those rabbits still in my net?"

Satoshi drops down to the grass beside Kasyr as she fishes the tamed Blitz Bunny from the net. The kensai will find himself subjected to pokes and prods from the rabbit's paw courtesy of puppet-master Satoshi, the harassment starting at his shoulder and progressing until she's forcing the bunny to pat at his face. Once Kasyr is looking her way, Satoshi will hold Blitz Bunny before her face and do a poor mimicry of the animal's assumed voice--which is mostly just a squeaky version of Satoshi's voice. "You should go dance with your wife~."

Bones doesn't shy away from her grip, nor does he flinch, but he looks to the net. "No rabbits."

Narrator || Oh gods, the teeth! Put those things away before you hurt someone, Lahk! The horror! The bunnies expel glitter in fear, and Pop! Pop! Pop! go the butterflies as the bunnies flee those nasty gnashers! But don't let down your guard, Lahk! There's a couple hurtling for your back even now!

Narrator || Korra finds herself bunniless and alone. Apart from Bones.

Gwenilyn troops back onto the field of battle looking definitely the worse for wear. Still, here is a merry twinkle in her eyes and silvery laughter on her lips as she launches herself skyward. How many bunnies dare try to take her down? The challenge has been issued! the gauntlet thrown. Once more into the fray!!

Ranok strongly recommends against attempting to eat the rabbits in any way, shape, or form. They were made of Uchawiman, and thus do not operate under anything close to 'sanity'.

Lahk gnashes his teeth as they slam shut on empty air of glitter and glamour as the bunnies leg it on a lepidopteric lam. Momentarily mesmerized by the tiny insects -- each with a fluffy bunny tail? Could it be true? -- he is caught unawares by the whiskered assassins at his flanks. As the raw materials for stew and mittens assail him, he whirls and calls out, "May flights of cottontails sing me to my rest!"

Ranok goes to gently take the rabbit from Ty, "Okay, I think it might be time for you to go nap, Ty. You're rather disconnected from reality at large." He would gently try to persuade the woman up while the rabbits run rampant around him.

Korra had rolled off him anyways and tried to touch one without looking, and when there weren't any rabbits she just sorta snapped. "That's it. Bones, come on." She grabbed the empty net and continued stalking out. "I feel like killing something very painfully and that obviously won't happen in here."

Raziel grins at Korra, as the 50 rabbits cling to her purple gown and bat wings, even giving her a naughty wave. Clearly, she has no clue what Korra is.

Korra would have almost politely invited Raziel to be the something painfully killed had she noticed the wave, but she didn't so she didn't~. Fortunately. Or unfortunately, depending on your tastes.

Bones shrugged, one hand patting his urumi. "Well, let's go, then...think I need rest from the onslaught of adorable bunnies, anyays."

Raziel begins carefully pulling the bunnies off of her clothing and gently setting them down, sweet talking to them. Raziel appears to have a way with the little hellions.

Tysinni is patiently waiting for the rabbit-demon to spill the answers she's after when two large hands appear in her field of vision, attempting to pry the rabbit away. Blinking, the thief looks up into her friend's face, giving him a large, sappy smile. "Dezro! You gotta tell them, they're....everywhere." The last word is spoken in a whisper as she spies several bunnies hopping behind Ranok. "We've gotta find out what they know!" Glaring back at the bunny, she resists her friend's urgings that she go lie down, instead letting him help her up all the while she's interrogating the poor fuzzy creature. "What realm do you come from? Who do you call master? What magics do you possess! I must know!" The winged rabbit would probably just sit complacently, staring at her and twitching its nose.

Satoshi returns Blitz Bunny to her lap, apparently failing to provoke a kensai with bunny-pokes.

Narrator || the rabbit twitches its nose cutely at Tysinni, and burps glitter in her face. Obviously, that was a coded message of some kind!

Kasyr prods the Blitz Bunnies Belly, before pushing himself up onto his elbows, "Though I might normally decline, I suppose I can honour that request. It does spare moi being asked to chase down any more of ..." The hat-destroying monster is eyed, before his ruined hat is plunked on top of its' head. From there, he simply finishes shoving his way up to his feet, loosely gesturing towards the temple, "Apres vous?"

Raziel brushes the glitter and bunny fur from her dress and then moves towards Gwenilyn once more... Although the 50-some bunnies would probably trail her.

Narrator || The fifty Rabbits of Raziel's Irregulars, enchanted by her music, look at the situation from a strategic standpount. They were outmanned (being rabbits), outgunned (having no opposible digits), and needed a better defensive position (Anywhere but here). At once the fifty bizarre creations of the Uchawiman bounce on, and pick up, Raziel - wings collectively fluttering. The first Mobile Air Division of Raziels Rabbit Army dumps her and themselves unceremoniously into the holding pen. They surround Raziel, noses twitching, ears flopping, and one of them gives a little salute before starting to chew on the grass.

Ranok tries a different tack, saying in a lighter tone of voice that was supposed to make Ty think it was the bunny speaking, but really came off as 'Ranok, but squeaky'. "We come from space and stuff! Uh. We are here for your women? And carrots. Yeah, carrots. But we were just leaving. So listen to the nice man..."

Satoshi 's bunny-pokes weren't for not after all! Huzzah! She tries not to seem -too- ecstatic (fat lot of good that does when your husband is an Empath) as she tugs Kasyr along by an arm. Blitz Bunny is designated to hat-watching duty.

Raziel blinks in confusion at what just happened, but then laughs happily, and pets some of their little fluffy heads. "Well that was certainly interesting. Good job dears."

Gwenilyn ;; Raziel is spotted, along with the fifty-some bunnies. The slap-happy fae giggles, wondering if she has begun to hallucinate. However, she will flit towards Raziel, net behind her back, attemptng a sneak attack. If Raziel were capable of sight, she would see the fae place a finger to her lips and say 'shhhhhhh.......' approaching will all stealth and quietude. Wll she be able to snare more bunnies? Only the fates (in the guise of Valentin) know for certain....

A winner is declared!

Ranok looks up at the spectacle of the elf woman flying through the air. Once again, he finds himself uttering, "Well. Now I've seen everything." Ty was forgotten for the moment as he tracks their path to the pen. And then plop right down in. "Well." Another half hearted attempt to get Ty up later and he would say, "This is...unprecedented. But by majority, the young elf woman wins the Catching Contest." He blinks.

Lahk dusts himself off and huffs, "Luck was on their side. Each of them having four rabbit feet, after all."

Narrator || Watch out Lahk! Flights of cottontails are trying! A bunny towards knee, a bunny towards the thigh, and a bunny lands on your face to lick your nose before jumping off! Where is your net! Will you let them get away with this?

Raziel hears Ranok's words, her mouth promptly going agape, for she hadn't even had intentions of capturing any bunnies. Then smiles and turns to the bunny army. "Ya hear that my little soldiers? Guess we won!" she'd release a honey-sweet laugh at that.

Lahk is attacked anew by the wolf-eating herbivores. Rabbit punches leave paw prints on his legs and he clutches wildly at the beast now literally giving him a set of bunny-ears. He stumbles backwards and trips into the pile of nets strewn on the ground, likely ending up ensnared with hares.

Ranok shrugs apologetically, "At fifty, she beats out any real potential for any single person catching more. Considering how things were going..." Meaning how harebrained and literal hare brains were in a clash of the titans all over the courtyard. He spares a glance at the place. Oh was it an utter mess. He sighs. Good thing the foliage was temporary, or else he wouldn't be getting that deposit back.

Kasyr is, belatedly enough, tugged out of the scene- though his dawdling does allow him to hear the apparent outcome.

Tysinni stares at the bunny she was holding all aghast. It spoke! And it kinda sounded like Ranok...if he could speak real common. Holding the bunny further away from herself in suspicion, she immediately hands it to Ranok. "Dezro! Did you hear it? They're after our women. And our carrots!" Wheeling around she starts yelling at everyone in the vicinity. "PROTECT THE CARROTS! THEY'RE AFTER OUR SUPPLY!" If Ranok wasn't quick she'd start limping away, presumably in an attempt to protect the carrot stash. "Why am I glittery?" Apparently, she had not even noticed the magical burping.

Narrator || Eventually, with great derring-do and valiant struggles on the partygoers' collective behalves, every one of the Uchawiman's rabbits find themselves in the pen. Except for the Hat-Slaying Sparrow-Winged Blitz Bunny of Doom, who was currently in Kasyr's ruined article of headjoy. Ah well. Frostmaw could use more fire-producing critters. Place is as cold as Korra's smile.

Ranok would grab Ty to hold her back, "Thank you all for participating. Raziel, as the winner, now assumes ownership of the rabbits." A fitting prize for the best catcher, of course. "Anyone is free to remain outside, or return to the temple for dancing. The band is still playing if anyone so wishes to return."

Raziel smirks at that prospect. Oh how Muraski's going to love the multiple bunnies, created by Ucha, running around his shop!

Narrator gave 1 horde of shapeshifting rabbits to Raziel.

Ranok || The rabbits would dutifully follow Raziel, except the few that might stick with people. By fondness or because that person kept a tight grip on them. Whichever.

Tysinni finds herself abruptly halted, forestalling her forward momentum. Losing her tenuous balance, the thief topples backwards into Ranok, still yelling, "Somebody's got to stop them! Let me go, you fiend!"

Raziel would find her way out of the pen, almost forgetting about the message she was given for Gwen. She'd go over to the kind fae and whisper the message to her, being that she knew if was for no one elses ears... Her bunnies promptly watching her.
