RP:Do You Have An Appointment?

From HollowWiki

Vehara follows Thavene along to the long trail leading up to the palace, pulling the hood back over her head as they make the trip. She remains largely silent for the trek, simply gazing out and taking in the surroundings and noteable landmarks; not terribly familiar with this portion of Craughmoyle, she is content to observe and commit these new places to memory. It's only when they approach the palace that the hood is peeled back again, finding it a bit improper if she's about to step inside such a place. "This is it, then?"

Ivengere looks up from his table and sees the Drow walking forward. He opens his book in front of him and begins flipping through the old yellowed pages. "Do you have an appointment?"

Vehara shakes her head briefly, sending the dark locks of hair swaying with the motion. "Not exactly. I came here at Thavene's guidance...it's about the theft. I offered my services to track the thief and return the Green Rose to its rightful owners."

Ivengere "ah he sent you. Very well, who are you here to see? If Thavene vouches for you, you may be of some use in the recovery." He then pulls out a quill and dips it in the ink and he begins scribbling in the book "it seems we have a few minutes open"

Vehara nods firmly, her robed arms coming to cross against her form. "All right. I'll make this as quick as possible; I just need as much information as you're willing to give. Particularly, I need an audience with Lord Whurlond...do you think you can arrange such a thing? It seems I could get valuable information from him...for a price."

Ivengere "that I can not do, Lord Whurlond is a very busy man and he is not recieving visitors, although he did inform me that if anyone came asking questions to give them this." Ivengere slips Vehara a note, the note reads "The Silvertooths did not steal the Green Rose, we were contacted to do the job, but we refused to sully our honor by stealing it. Should you want information you should seek out the feline thief to find out who hired him."

Vehara takes the note in hand, lowering her eyes to scan it in short order. "Mm...I see. Thank you for your time. I'll see what information I can glean..." With a nod of respect, the half-drow turns and prepares to leave the palace.
