RP:Des and Company

Desparrow stood off against the Yeti, staring him down with that piercing violet gaze while the creature stared back, stamping its foot to stand its ground. Magic sparked at the fingertips, excitement and adrenaline flowing through his veins filling him with renewed vigor every few seconds. Barefoot on the snow and wearing only those same leather pants the blistering winds beat against his bronzed flesh. In seconds flames were licking at his fingertips and soon after engulfing his hands entirely. The Yeti seemed to take this as a threat but remained back yet. Deciding he wasn't worth it Des backed down away from the beast, the fire dissipating entirely and his hostility dissolving in the cold.

Sabrina had heard the commotion walking up the path. She was headed to Frostmaw again, this time with a very wounded Rohk in tow. It had been a day and a half since the brute was pulled up from the cliff and his wound- though healing slowly on their own- were still causing him some difficulty that he would never admit to. Sabrina walked beside him, travelling by hound was not an option, not in his condition. He disliked venturing these cold climates but at very least his breed would keep him warm. Sabrina was dressed in a floor length furry coat, beneath the part of paunchy layers one would catch an occasional glimpse of short shorts, bare mid drift, and smooth pale thigh in each stride. The coat served purpose enough, but anyone who knew them knew well enough that it was Rohk that kept her from freezing up like a popsicle. She stopped along the path long enough to watch the potential confrontation between Lycan and Yeti come to a stale mate. The Yeti wanders off to the North, on occasion he would look over his shoulder to ensure he was not being followed.

Desparrow was naturally warm but as he turned to start heading back down the path did he meet Sabrina with a wounded Hellhound in tow. "Interesting to be meeting you here." He grinned, spreading his arms out wide and feeling the cold winds run over his skin as if it were soothing to him. "I have some friends similar to him at home. Quite a curious duo if I might add." He grinned but advanced cautiously to Sabrina so as to not upset her. Once at ten feet he bowed, then once more did dip his body to Rohk. "What brings you out here anyways? I didn't see you as one to be so attuned to the frigid." The elf spotted a bit of her skin and had a grin in his mind even if it didn't show on his face.

Sabrina showed no response to his proximity as it was quite appropriate less the be shouting at each other from afar. She took three steps nearer to him, a curiosity flooding her eyes as to why he was indeed faring so well in the ‘frigid’ as he put it. She respected the attitude toward her comrade and so, despite the ramblings swirling upon her arm hidden beneath a veil of soft and flowing fur she showed no hostility towards him. She smiled instead, one of the few of friendly smiles she manages to part with in strange encounters. “Do you have something against clothes, Sir?”

Desparrow shook his head, he had no problem with clothes, just really was too lazy to go out and buy any for himself since they seemed to so easily get destroyed. "Not at all. If you'd prefer though I can wear something else just for when you are around. Seems we run into each other all across the land." It was that smile of hers that struck him, she hadn't offered him a smile yet, he'd really much prefer her name sometime but for now these strange meetings he could handle. "Though I do find dress shirts to fancy my taste, if I dress well on top of looking good I mean it just sort of inflates my ego a bit." A boyish grin returned to the woman.

Sabrina took a minute to realize his playful banter was a joke. She fell attached to his referral to their meetings and turns to look at Rohk who appeared to give her a one-shouldered shrug. “As long as you keep covered the pieces meant for your wife, your attire matters not to me.” It was a very political statement both implying she meant no harm and noting she had seen what he had to offer. She pushes her hair back over pointed ear. “Rohk and I are heading up the mountain to track down the people that did this to him… well at very least the people who rescued us are owed a token of our appreciation” She had made it a point to honor the Queen but would have to locate a person by the name of Eliason to do it. It had appeared the hound had a rather large purse hanging from his neck, although it may have been dwarfed on the presence of a being of his size.

Desparrow blushed a bit though that could have been mistaken for the cold. "My apologies. I'll be sure to do this ma'am." A second bow was offered to Sabrina and then another to Rohk. "I wish I could help you find whoever did that to your friend, perhaps if you allow me to enter his mind I can see through his memory and if I come across anything.. I could let you know. I've done this before, was quite successful." He was telling the truth, in another land he was able to solve an abduction and torture case. "Or perhaps I could merely accompany you in dealing with the people that caused harm to him. I'm sure they must be formidable to have injured such a magnificent creature and yet live. With him in his injured state although powerful I wouldn't push the limits of the body. I know these things from experience with his kind."

Sabrina had a hateful flicker skim over the surface of her eyes. In a low and barely audible note she stated dryly. “There is no other like Rohk.” In only slightly brighter tones she added “To enter his mind is to enter my mind and we can’t have that.” Its true, only one had that privilege ever and it was by horrible accident that it was allowed to transpire in the first place. “We know who did it, we know where to find them. We know we will need the support of Queen Satoshi to stifle our revenge.” It wasn’t just people who kidnapped the hound, starved him and tortured him for days, then released him for game under the orders and supervision of one commander. It was an entire rebel force. “Rohk is a big boy, and he is perfectly capable of making his own decisions on how far he need push himself.”

Desparrow held up his hands in defense. "I meant no offense by it ma'am. Truly I did not want to impose." He then looked to the east, stuck two fingers in his mouth and whistled loud. The piercing howl of the sound broke through the blizzard but this didn't matter. With the bond he had they would hear it. Minutes seemed to pass by and all the elf did was tap his foot against the snow. "Sorry, they are a bit lazy at times." He muttered, having stepped back after that hate-filled gaze was cast upon him. Shortly after he finished talking from the sky did come falling two red orbs of light bathed in fire until they crashed into a mound of snow nearby. With the steam rising the orbs popped and from them came out two fire imps about a foot and a half tall each stumbling with bottles of booze in their hands. "Meet my friends, Gyakuu, and Goyjio. I met them a few years back and they stuck with me since under the premise that I provide them an unending supply of their drink."

Sabrina didn’t care for imps. Disgusting little creatures… and perverts if she recalled correctly- which she did because her arm began to emanate a brighter light as she recalled past events. She pulls her coat shut with gloved fingers, hiding all of her flesh from shoulders to boot tipped toe. Quickly she hides part way behind Desparrow, leaving him the only divide between she and them. She stares innocently at Rohk who…laughed. It was a hissy kind of wheezing that was accompanied by tight and painful heavings of his chest. He remembered Sabrina’s last encounter with a grey imp who walked around naked with the poise of a puppy presented at constant in Sabrina’s presence… kept trying to shove it in any orifice she had. Sabrina thought to kick one of them but assumed that slight opening of her legs would cause the other to run under her coat and shove a couple digits where they didn’t belong. She presses as close to Desparrow as he would allow, making sure her shield left no room for funny business from those despicable creatures.

Desparrow was stunned to have Sabrina decide to come so close to him. They were indeed curious little monsters but nonetheless were faithful servants to the man. "They won't hurt you, or defile you if that is what you are thinking. I wouldn't allow it." The elf looked to the two and they stared wide-eyed back, their giant red eyes unblinking for a moment before returning to their brotherly antics with each other. It was the close proximity with the woman that made Desparrow raise a brow, "And I thought you didn't like me eh?" he offered that same grin from before and this time a wink down at her. "But if you don't need any help I supposed I shan't come along then seeing as your friend Rohk is indeed a very big man and can likely handle everything one his own." A dip of his head in respect to the Hound made.

Sabrina knew those creatures were impervious to her touch- as were any feral or lesser creatures, so she hoped Desparrow had indeed acquired the control he claimed. His sarcastic wink played poorly and against the Lycan’s favor. She backs away from him at mention of not liking him and reminds herself to stick to the notes no matter how different her face to face exchanged were. If Desparrow had wanted her to like him, he probably wouldn’t have brought up the fact she was so close- else she may have not noticed. She takes a few steps back in Rohk’s direction, keeping her eyes locked wholly on those… abominations. Rohk did nothing to effect the situation as he found all of this to be refreshingly entertaining. “I didn’t say we didn’t need any help. I said I required more than –you- can offer.” She offers a smartaleck gesture to his groin and turns to begin her exit westerly.

Desparrow sighs, no matter what he did that appeared to help his cause he always did something to destroy it as well. "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you again. I just found it amusing is all. I just don't know what to say.. So I guess I'll just be quiet. I can help you if you let me. These guys are quite formidable if you know how to handle em." He looked to his boys and snapped his fingers. Immediately they stood at attention. "Weaponize boys!" he barked the order and all of a sudden the games were over. Jumping over to their master they transformed into something else entirely. First orbs of light which attached to his left wrist, now becoming a fully functional weapon. Gyakuu attained the form of a fairly good sized crossbow glowing in ethereal flames attached by straps in two places on Desparrow's arm; one at the wrist and one just before the elbow. Goyjio sported himself as the bitch of the two and became the unwilling ammunition which promptly loaded himself into the bow. "I've used these guys on numerous occasions."

Sabrina found the whole display to be disturbing. Two brothers should never be…entwined in one another… no matter what purpose it should serve. Desparrow seemed to want to show her something, as with every encounter, she felt like he was trying to impress and it gave off a very uneasy vibe. The vibe withstood nearly every encounter they two had, whether she remembered or not. “Maybe… you should think less.” It was a caring note emerging from the curses she would have thrown at him moments ago. “Not every damsel is in distress.” Rohk had met up with her in the time it took to say those words and silently she made her way past.
