RP:Constructing the roof of the Frostmaw merchant's guild

Sophie is accompanied by Jefri. Her Frostgiant friend is leading a pair of frostmares pulling a sled. The sled is piled high with an abundant native building material, namely mammoth tusks.

Jefri and his frostgiant artisan companions first build a wooden frame to support the tusks. Each end of the frame is like an upside down V from each corner of the wooden framed building, they are linked by a central beam. The whole store is small enough that the tusks can be fixed between the top of the walls and the centre support.

Sophie meanwhile was mixing up a strong adhesieve from pine sap, using druidic magic. The giant roofers use her concoction to glue the tusks in place, as close together as possible but..inevitably given the shape of tusks, there are small gaps remaining. If unfilled, the biting cold wind will whistle through these gaps, and is likely to be quite uncomfortable, for merchants, and customers alike.

Sophie and the giants fill the gaps by packing them tightly with loose snow, compressing it until it is solid as ice. They then pack away the ladder and tools, exhausted after a hard days work, and head back to the refugee camp to a bonfire celebration, and a meal of roast boar.
