RP:Braker Sleepwalking in Kelay Tavern

From HollowWiki

Sophie treats a sleepwalking patient

Braker is sleepwalking, he mutters something about gods vampires and souls.

Sophie looks worried, as she searches for her patient whom Javelin has informed her is sleepwalking, she finally discovers poor Braker in Kelay tavern, but proceeds with caution having always been told it is dangerous to wake a person who is sleepwalking.

Braker is sleepwalking, there is a large deep gash on his neck and blood stains on his tee shirt. The loyal wolf or what seems like a wolf, stays ever by his side occasionally giving the man some direction by tugging on his pant cuff.

Sophie speaks quietly calmly to the wolf, to assure the loyal creature of her good intentions. "I am Sophie the healer, looking after Braker, I assure you I am not going to hurt him."

Braker waves to Beata and Sophie, but seems mostly incoherent.

Sophie said to Beata, "Dear Sister I am so glad you are here. Poor Braker here is my patient, he is sleepwalking and I have just caught up with him."

Javelin recognises Braker as the delirious man encountered earlier, and the elf eyes him warily as nimble digits wrap around the hilt of En'theri, ready to spring into action at the first sign of danger. "Caution, sister." Two words, calmly spoken, betrayed neither fear nor apprehension in the Elf's tone, yet still he stood poised to react to any perceived threat to his clanmate, every muscle in his body tensed as a hunting panther biding to strike.

Beata said to Sophie, " It is wonderful to see you dear..I have been hearing about Braker.s problems.. I am glad he has you to watch over him."

Braker is lead to a chair at a table by his loyal compainion the wolf, not as of yet known to the others as ,Throc.

Sophie nods seriously to assures Javelin that she has heard and understands his words of warning, after all it is an accursed vampire bite they are dealing with. She then speaks to the wolf again. "He seems to trust your guidance my friend, even in his sleep. Can you guide Braker to sit in a chair in this quiet corner, where, I can re-bathe and re-bandage his wound?" The healer then smiles at Beata. "It is good to know you have such faith in me, dear sister."

Javelin shifts his gaze to Beata as Sophie turns her attention to the female. The Elf approaches Beata with a confident stride, slender hand extended in an amiable gesture of friendship. "Greetings, m'lady. I believe we are yet unacquainted. I am known as Javelin, of the Champions of Kanos. And who, pray tell, do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

Beata smiles " I always trust and believe in you Dear.. I will be happy to help you care for Braker."

Beata takes the out stretched hand of the elf. " Javelin. No I don't believe we have met.. I am Beata the healer. Nice to meet you..

Sophie said to Beata, "Javelin and I have been clan brother and sister before. In was a honour to serve in the Temple with him."

Beata said to Sophie, "That is good to know..How is the CofK doing? I was saddened by the ending of the Temple."

Braker's companion sits at Braker's chair not moving but looks deeply with understanding into Sophie and Beatas eyes then to Javelin. If anyone in the room is remotely telepathic, they would hear in their minds a soft vioce "This man is my station he is searching for something, he is very sick help him if you are able."

Sophie said to Beata, "The Temple still exists. Kain is a member, but Gwenilyn and I decided to move to a more active clan, where we could get things done more easily. Champions of Kanos is doing well, it is good that Marcellus has time to be with us often, these days."

You drives a train through Braker on being informed that he is the wolf's station (ooc not really, of course :D)

Javelin takes Beata's palm and touches it to his lips, head inclined slightly to offer a respectful nod to the lady. "The pleasure is mine." Eyes of a vibrant cerulean hue sparkle with humour as he releases Beata's hand. "It seems I have to get myself reacquainted with the denizens of this land. I have been too long gone. Nonetheless, it lifts my heart to have been introduced to such a beautiful person as yourself immediately upon my return. Perhaps there is indeed much I have missed out on during my period of absence."

On hearing the wolf's telepathic communication, Sophie beings her work. She takes a clean cloth and a vial of holy water from her healer's kit, and begins to gently bathe the nasty gash on Braker's neck once more.

Sophie continues to carefully bathe Braker's wounds with the divine blessed liquid. She discards a soiled cloth in favor of a fresh clean one. "You are going to be fine." She is unsure if the sonambulist can hear her reassurances.

Beata studies Braker as Sophie tends to his wound..Turning her emerald gaxe to Javelin she said " That doesn't look very good."

Raziel enters the tavern, her usual white clothing upon her, along with a wooden mask of white with no eye holes, though it would be hard to tell as the hood of her cloak is drawn over the eyes. The elf walks to the back of the tavern and sits in a chair distant from everyone else. Upon her shoulder her an inky black raven looking around the tavern with intellegent eyes.

Braker is sitting in a chair face down to the table as the holy water is applied to his wound it fizzes much like peroxcide, and the red inflammation retreats some from the wound that is heavily infected. Then moves aside for Sophie and guards both her and his charge the man known to them only as Braker. The man himself mutter something about "Wings smooth as raven's claws", and then starts to rant " There are no souls gods or vampires ,,,, storys.. to scare kids so they mind ...their parents " Then goes silent and begins to snore.

Sophie said to Beata, "Have you any more antiseptic herbs in your own healer's kit, dear friend? I am using my last for Braker here, and I would hate to be caught without any in an emergency."

Raziel mutters something about that if there was no thing as vampires then why did she have bite marks on her neck and wrists. But otherwise keeps silent and pulls her cloak around her form tighter.

Beata looks in her bag for antiseptic herbs.." I have afew I can offer you dear.. They are a necessary item.'

Sophie is pleased to hear Braker snoring. A sign that he is sleeping naturally once more no longer in an agitated sleep-walking state. She once more takes a fresh cloth and bathes the wound, this time mixing the last of her antiseptic herbs with the holy water. She must of course also strive to protect her patient from far more mundane infections than the vampiric curse.

Beata gave 6 sage mixture to Sophie.

Sophie said to Beata, "Thank you dear sister. It eases my mind not to be without a supply of them, they are indeed very necessary. Infected wounds are a terrible affliction, which without treatment can lead to the need for a limb to be amputated, or even to death."

Javelin shrugs nonchalantly, not one to be unduly distressed by the sight of one that was beyond his ability to aid. "I help where I can, but my abilities lie in more... martial aspects, and not in the healing arts. I believe Sophie will be able to do more for him than my none-too-gentle ministrations will." Turning to include Sophie in his dialogue, the Elf continues, "Alas, I must depart temporarily to attend to pressing matters in Xalious; sister, I trust you can handle the current situation without my blade? I do not think this man will pose much of a threat to any champion of Kanos, after all. If the need arises, however, I will fly to your side to lend strength of arm in aid. Farewell, sister. And you as well, Beata." So saying, the Elf reaches within his soul and calls upon the arcane powers within the depths of his very being; a thin mist materialises and coalesces into a dense fog, enveloping his person. As said fog dissipates, the Elf is no longer where he stood a second ago.

Sophie takes a clean pad to cover the wound and securely holds it in place with fresh bandages. She then calls for a stagecoach, to take her patient and herself back to the guestroom above her shop. "Can anybody help me, to gently carry this poor fellow into the coach please?"

Raziel quirks a brow when Sophie's name hits her ears, recalling the children. With a sigh she stands up and walks nearer to them. "I can help... I somewhat know Braker."

Sophie nods to the blind apparent-child. "Indeed you may help. Can you sit in the carriage with Braker and bathe the poor fevered fellow's brow? I must tell your parent or guardian where you are so they do not worry for you, however."

Raziel nods "I can do that..." she scratches the back of her neck and chuckles. "I don't need Muraski's permission to go anywhere. He says I have to think for myself, miss... I'm just not allowed to fight wraiths any more." she adds with a shrug.

Sophie said to Raziel, "You may come to my guestroom and help me nurse Braker, but we really must write that message to whoever cares for you."

Braker's companion, the wolf now known to Sophie as Throc gets the man to his feet by tugging on his pant leg and follows Sophie to the carriage with the man in tow.

Sophie said to Raziel, "Not to ask his permission, just so he doesn't worry about you."The lycan healer is most impressed by the skillful care shown by the wolf-nurse Throc.

Raziel shrugs once more, though not in a rude way. "Very well then, but Muraski won't care much, I'm certain." she turns her masked face towards Braker and sighs "Poor guy..."

The carriage sets off to take them to the Soph Shop.
