Grassy Knoll Market

The road through Kelay is down the northern side of this hill, while more hills are to the east. A lushly painted forest grows in the west, but here, atop this knoll, there is no vegetation. Gravel covers the earth, creating an uncomfortable rest spot for everyone. Why this hill is covered in small stones, no one knows. To the furthest south of this area, though still in view, you spot a rather odd looking building of sorts which sports a rather large sign that reads, “Aranhil’s Amazing Aromatic Aerbals.” If you were to enter, you would see many plants, or bins full of freshly picked plant parts; everything from leaves, to stems, to flower petals, to roots, and even mushrooms. You find many bottles placed around the interior, each labeled something else and each with a description. Most of these appear harmless, as if one may use them as a prank on another; however, there are some that express using extreme caution, for they may even take lives. Others of course would save lives, in fact many more of the herbs and potions were for the art of healing than of trickery and pain. You look at the price tags as you browse through the items, and each price seems reasonable enough. You take what you will, paying the man at the counter. A small sign hangs from the counter saying “Restocked Daily,” letting you know that should you buy them out, a new stock would soon arrive. Happy with what you have found you may leave this place back outside and head west, north, or east and continue on with your life no matter your intentions with whatever you may have bought.

Emiko took good memorization to remember the entire town of of Kelay as what she had learned it to be. Sighing as she walked along before coming across a small store. Shrugging she enters casually but keeping to herself before liking the looks of a sleeping potion. Raising a brow to it she looks it over, carefully, deciding if she wanted it or not. Nodding as she did she takes it up to the counter and sets it down. Keeping her green eyes down she asks, "How much?" Raven tangles of tight curls flow from the girl's head, ending at her rear, strange as the curls were so light looking. Although, Emiko wouldn't have noticed as her tail had made its way out of her newly bought pants and was swaying lightly from side to side.

Aranhil and his squad were all in the store currently. Mia was the feline that stood at Aranhil's side no matter what. Elwood the elf that tended the store. Should you find yourself in battle against the three of them one would be lucky to escape. However right now they were laughing and joking, and as the store door would open they would fall silent, their conversation picking back up lightly though careful not to be too loud. Elwood would walk to the other end of the counter where the lycan would stand with a bottle of Aranhil's sleeping potion, “The cost for such a potion rests currently at twenty-seven gold.” he would say kindly to the young woman. Both Aranhil and Mia would take notice of the woman and her attire, careful not to stare but also cautious of her.

Aldred enters the area, looking about until his swirling pits fall upon Aranhil,"So you have information for me?"

Emiko tried not to blush but turned around about to take the money out of her bussom before seeing a large centaur come in. Stepping to the side she quickly took out the money and slipped it on the counter. Being scared and nervous her ears popped out and she growled at this. Quickly she comes to a corner to fix herself, "Stupid ears..." She grumbles to herself before getting the ears and tail tucked back into hiding. Emiko would stay on the sidelines until the large creature left. Keeping her emerald eyes down to the ground and most of her hair covering her lovely hourglass figure for how thick it was.

Aranhil |Elwood would accept the gold offered and pocket it with the rest of the store's finances. Aldred approached Aranhil and Mia stood beside him, refusing to leave and always would even should Aranhil ask it of her. “Indeed, I think it is time for the two of us to share what we may have learned or been able to set up about the road that is to be built in Rynvale's Dragonlands.”

Aldred nods, just a simple nod before bringing forth his information,"I agree. To start I have gathered about fifteen strong men from my tribe to move materials as well as provide some protection for the work that needs to be done. Depending on what else needs to be done they should be able to help."

Emiko blinks as she listens to the men talk about Dragonlands and building a road, why was that so important. Silently she moves a little bit closer before pretending to look at stuff on the shelves. Ears would still be able to hear them perfectly, even though tucked away pretty snuggly.

Aranhil and the others were gathered around as there conversation continued, “I agree, I have spoken with tristram and he has agreed us the use of nearly fifty of his citizens, orc and ogres alike. Greux shall lead them, also he has granted us a small squad of his orphans, he claims them to be pretty street smart and good lookouts when it comes to looking for Dragons. I have also contacted Arien about our crossing to her shores with our force of laborers, she recognizes the amount of us and acknowledges that it is needed to be done, no fees will be asked of us for the travel other than basic ferry travel. What we need to do now is contemplate on the style of road to be used. What are your thoughts on this?”

Aldred strokes his chin, pondering the question for a moment. After several minutes he speaks,"What type of materials are available on the island? If we know this is could make things a bit easier."

Emiko blinks lightly once she hears about all this, but her listening fades away as she looks over the centaur's massive body. Scared, yet curious she comes closer. Turning her head lightly she stretches a hand out and softly strokes onto the side of his hind-quarters. Quickly she retracts and jumps back staring with her hands behind her back like she did nothing. If he was to get upset she would quickly say, "Sorry! Sorry!"

Aranhil would speak, “I know there is a lumber yard there. And of course there is all the rubble we will have to move from the fallen castle. So a castle's worth of stone is at our disposal as well.” His conversation would stop now as the hand would be seen upon the other. Directly at the contact, “Friend of yours,” he would ask, holding back a snicker.

Aldred 's eyes drift over his shoulder, piercing in nature as they fall upon Emiko and then back to Aranhil,"We could lay the lumber and then later cobble the road after we clear the castle. Or perhaps we could build a wall around the road to seal out any monsters or intruders. To keep the unwanted from raiding caravans to the bazaar."

Emiko tried hard not to blush on her dark tanned cheeks. Emiko knew better not to come so close to a stray horse, but this was different - a centaur. She wanted to stroke over his pelt once more, so fascinating as well as beautiful. Going against her own mental will she takes a few more steps closer to him; enough to feel the heat radiating off of him. Emerald eyes keep looking over his muscular build, not ready to touch him - yet.

Aranhil gave a single nod to Mia, the feline guard would walk around and reach the young lycan. “Come with me, we can find something to do,” she would whisper to her, “Who wants to be part of grownups playing anyway,”she giggled trying to be nice, which was not of her nature. Aranhil spoke once more to Aldred, “Yes, but perhaps not a cover, a dragon could easily make such a structure fall downward, tenderizing its meal before it gets a chance to fight back. What of the roads like we see in Gualon. They are often used for temporary use through the swamp, but in a dried area like the Dragonlands we wouldnt have to repair them but once every so many years.” (lets pretend I know the name of that road we spoke of before.)

Aldred offers a slight nod, picturing the road for a moment. Deep tones slip forward,"Ah yes, a cordouroy road i believe it is called. It should be perfect for the area. The logs should hold seeing as the land is only moist compaired to the swamplands of gualon. And it should form a sturdy foundation for a cobbled road, putting use to the stones."

Emiko looked down at the young feline guard and then looked over the centaur once more with a saddened sigh. She would of course follow the thing to see what she wanted. Emiko rubbed at the side of her arms as she followed here, worried if it was a trap or not, and then realized how much she missed her tribe.

Aranhil would nod in agreement. “Exactly, And with all the people we have at our disposal the supplies could be easily managed from one point to another.” He would think for a few more moments then add, “Perhaps it is time we start seeking out protectors for our journey. I could gain several of my clan and surely the Fold, as Rynvale's Army, would offer some protection as well. What do you think on this?”

Aldred shrugs a look given that shows not a single bit of worry in his eyes,"My warriors could easily handle several dragons, plus with the assistance of the others it shouldnt be a problem. but go about seeking whatever help you would think we needed. the more we have the less time it will take."

Aranhil would nod, “Agreed then, I talk with the lumberyard in Rynvale? I will put all the lumber that they have on hold for our use if possible. We shall surely need most if not all that they have.” Mia on the other hand had taken the teen lycan around the corner where the different plants would be left. Picking up a mint leaf he would hand it to her, “Chew on this, itll help that doggie breath of yours...” she would say, no longer hiding her hatred for the dogs of hollow.

Aldred nods, hiding a chuckle let off from wht his keen ears had picked up,"Aye, if they do not provide enough i am sure we could find some to the forest to the east of the area.

Emiko 's lovely emerald eyes seemed to turn a very dark shade of green, one to be feared, "Hey kitty, kitty, I'm not a doggie..." Sniffing the mint she took the leave and rubbed it onto her neck, making herself smell like mint, "I'm not like you, okay? I don't even like what I have to be." Growling to herself she shakes her head, "I'm not, ever, going to use these stupid abilities I was born with, okay?" Huffing lightly she turns away from the girl, feeling slightly bad, as her eye color started to come back to normal. Looking over her shoulder she then says, "Sorry if I hurt your feelings... I was just... I hate being what I am..." Sighing lightly before feeling her ears pop out and lets out a little scream, "They're alway doing that!!!!"

Aranhil | Mia would grin towards the lycan, walking back past her to return to her master she would run a hand through her hair as if she was that of a child, before leaving the ally she would say, “How can one know what one is, without excepting who you are..remember that pup.” she would say as she continued on, her tail flicking a slight invitation to join them by her side should she like. Aranhil and the others were still talking. Now aranhil stood, his left hand held tightly over his chest to help stop the pain he was feeling from the earlier heart attack. Extending his right to the centaur he would attempt and conclude their meeting. “I believe that is all of our business for now. Please do keep in contact with me should anything you know change.”

Aldred provides a small nod once more before extending his own appendage to fall into aranhil's,"Until we meet again then?

Emiko sat down in the back with all the plants around her, ignoring the stupid lil feline for now. That she would have to remember; avoide persy lil kitty-cats. Growling and mumbling to herself she starts to look out at all the plants, hoping it would help her relax a bit, and it did. Inhailing all the lovely scents of the flowers made her head spin with pure happiness and she would stay in here until that stupid cat would come back for some dumb teasing; maybe her lil dagger could reach that stupid tail of hers? Aranhil nodded to the Centaur as his Guard would return to him. “Until next we meet Aldred of Frostmaw.”

Aldred offers one last nod before he exits to the north, flashing a glance to the lycan as he exits.
