RP:Apology to Xzavior

From HollowWiki

Desparrow sat patiently on the ground a bit ahead of the cabin in suede shoes, black pants and a t-shirt with vest over it just waiting for Xzavior or Sabrina to pass by. His face was calm, body claiming an overall relaxed posture but inside he was feeling more free, at the same time burdened with guilt after fleeing the situation as he did, and knowing what was probably coming his way and both willing to accept and suffer. Blue eyes stared at the ground though he remained alert, ears tilted outwards a bit while he drew in air in deep breaths through his nostrils every few seconds so that he would know when either of his quarries came by upon which he would take a stand and wait for them to approach him.

Xzavior had been on his way back from Ara to check on Emilia and his little one and make sure everything was alright, then return back to Sabrina right away. He expected this to be a quick in out kind of thing since he really didn't want to leave Sabrina alone longer then he had to. Last night made it very apparent that Desparrow had did quite a number on her and Xzavior did not trust Des at this point to not go behind his back and do it again. That is why when he caught wind of the lycan on his way through the forest, he tensed up and narrowed his eyes, after finally seeing him. Xzavior looked surprisingly calm for someone so mad, "I had better hear a damn good explanation for what you did to her."

Desparrow caught the familiar scent of his pupil and quickly got to a stand, scanning the trees until he was able to get sight of Xzavior. Hands at his sides it was obvious he was antsy with his fingers fiddling and his lack of ability to keep still but he would maintain a calm perspective and approach of the situation. When the other spoke the lycan's mouth opened but no words could be produced and he quickly shut his lips to ponder for just a moment. "I.. Can't give you a good one, my abuse of Sabrina was for my own gain, and I myself didn't expect the consequences. I had truly no intention of hurting her.. I thought she could handle it, figure it out.. The only reason it was a success was purely accident." his eyes took on a solemn glow, his face and posture proclaiming sadness, "I don't know what to tell you really. It is my fault, but I think I can fix it.." he sighed, having only mulled over it for a little bit, not sure but confident as usual that his plans would work even in the face of this recent failure.

Xzavior moved till they were within arms reach of each other and glared at him. "Your own benefit..." He chuckled cruelly and shook his head, "You know. I find it funny that people have the hardest time using something they use all the time to get something." Xzavior looked at him and laughed, "Its as simple of asking! Seriously! If she said no then you go to someone else! Someone who can handle it! Hell, I've faced demons before!" Had he? Where did that come from? In any case, the guy he really felt like putting under a very thick layer of ice was in front of him right now. "And frankly, I don't care that you can fix it. This is not something you can just clean up and pretend that it never happened."

Desparrow let out a long, slow breath before levelling his gaze on the naga but again trying to find words before he just let it out. "I understand, I really do, your anger right now and I am here, willing for you to express it, so let it out. I realize I could have done it better, and I am sorry for what I have done, and what if I can clean it up, and for at least Sabrina make it so that it never did happen?" He believed it was possible, to not reverse, but patch over, cover up or have her forget entirely, perhaps even erase it. "If the best I can do, is make her believe it never did happen, make her forget what she saw, why wouldn't that be good enough? I am still going to atone for it, but for her sake I can make it go away."

Xzavior listened to him through narrowed eyes and when he was finally finished, Xzavior just stood there for a moment before tossing up his hands in exasperation, "Damn it Desparrow! You're making it so hard for me to want to hurt you right now!" All his apologetic words and promises and such... "If you were acting like an insufferable ass you would be hurting so much! Gods this is annoying!" Xzavior turned his back and moved away a bit. He remained silent to let Desparrow speak but as soon as he started to Xzavior would whip around and punch him square in the face. Just a punch, no magic, nothing. But it sure as hell wasn't pulled back n the slightest. "One underhanded thing for another." Xzavior looked at Desparrow as if he was judging him for the first time, "How can I trust you not to do what you did to Sabrina again. You did go behind my back to get to Sabrina the first time."

Desparrow was expecting far more anger and lashing out from Xzavior, this reaction before him rather impressive, definteily something he would keep in mind when it came to gauging the man whom he had considered but a boy before. When Xzavior was finished with his rant he did open up to speak but as the first syllable came out the naga's fist struck hard to they lycan's jaw and instead of just turning to lessen the blow Des remained steadfast but the force was more than he could fight against and was sent to the ground on his rear and blood not only oozing from his broken lip but his gums shown through an amount of crimson spit. Lifting his left hand to rub that spot which would surely bruise though quickly heal, boy that must not be gratifying, he bothered to look up towards Xzavior, "You can continue, if you'd like. I'm not going to stop you, or fight back." he sighed, pushing himself back to his feet and brushing off his pants from any loose dirt that clung to his form, "I can guarantee that what I needed to do got done, with her.. although unwilling assistance, I was able to accomplish my task. It was dirty what I did, after I tried in your cabin and your reaction I waited specifically until you two were apart to do it again, that is on me and I do regret it, now that I am capable of it on a level that is beyond just words. I won't harm her, or you." he kicked the dirt with his heel, "If I can make the memory go away, the vision that I made her suffer.. after that I will understand if neither of you want anything to do with me. I have a habit of ruining relationships, but I act on what I believe and you two are a good thing.. I haven't seen her happy like that, and I would do what I need to to protect that."

Xzavior sighed angrily, waiting for the other to stand to say anything and a moment longer after he finished talking. Damn. All his anger gone to waste now. With deep even breaths he looked over at Desparrow with a serious look, "Listen, if I ever start throwing punches, I fully expect you to fight back. At least defend yourself. I don't beat people who can't or won't. Another thing, I don't care if I end up getting hurt. Go ahead and injure me, accident or not. But not Sabs. If you can make her forget what happened that will be what you do for her, I still know what happened and you'll have a harder time just simply getting back that trust." He was reletively calmer now then he was when he first saw the lycan but he was still on edge about him. He had known that Des was capable of some pretty not nice things but who wasn't. "I'm not saying you have to stay away, just be a lot more careful about what you do or next time I might change my mind about hurting someone who won't defend himself."

Desparrow shook his head as he got to his feet. "I won't fight back because I know I did wrong. How you want to deliver your anger is up to you, if at all. Why would I fight back when I know I'm in the wrong? That doesn't make sense." he sighed, "I believe I can fix the situation, even if everyone else involved will know that it happened, but she won't. That enough however is good for me, if the damage is undone then the fact of trust is what it is. Not a big deal to me. Though I do wonder this my pupil.. What is your relationship with the larket situation?" His change of subject had a purpose, his gaze becoming pointed and his demeanor more serious, with a burning determination and the prior guilt banished as he moved onto a new subject.

Xzavior went from relaxed to stern in a matter of moments as he swapped the topics like that so suddenly, "Why." Narrowed eyes and a defencive stance. You can't just spring a question and lose all sense of guilt over a topic change. Made him wonder if Des actually felt sorry at all. Or if he was just placating them so that this would all just blow over without a second thought. Perhaps he should hit him some more.

Desparrow was no longer concerned at the moment with Sabrina, simply compartmentalizing the various situations and keeping them within their own boxes so emotions and thoughts didn't bleed across. "I have interest in the city of Larket, a small one but I would honestly not see Artia succeed. Beyond that my goals are primarily Cenril ortiented. Things are cropping up, thugs, drugs, people are dying.. I have a lack of information and I need more."

Xzavior was actually stunned for a moment at that. That was something he didn't really expect to hear from anyone actually. Not that he had an overwhelming belief that everyone supported her but he didn't really think anyone would oppose. "Why not Artia? And how does Cenril tie into any of that? Larket has no correlation to the gangs going on in Cenril as far as I recall."

Desparrow shrugged, "Artia isn't strong enough. She is all words, I've witnessed it myself. I was training one day and I blew up a tree with a punch, she ended up screaming. Not the only instance, I can feel it in her. If I were to advance on her. I know she would be scared, terrified. She wouldn't know what to do, if not for her damned little toys... Mihael, for one.. Whoever else. Also when I am through with Cenril I will have no intention of ever allying myself with her." he grinned then, "I would rather not have a friend in the way. In fact it might be a good idea to vacate Sabrina as well and just distance yourself from the whole mess.."

Xzavior thought about what Des said for a while. He really didn't have anything to say on the matter, he didn't really feel like he knew Artia at all actually. She seemed so flip floppy with how she acted and it wasn't funny at all. "Well she is a druid so I can see why she screamed when you destroyed the tree." Though she seemed to be a very conflicting druid if she was... He shook his head lightly though, "You know. I might have been in the same position Mihael is now you know that? I'm kinda glad I got away from her when I did. Perhaps I will get Sabrina out of there though. Might take some talking but lets see what can happen eh?"

Desparrow chuckled, "She is weak, has too much ambition and little of the motivation or power. She wants to be Queen yet lacks any amount of.. resolve? Strength, fortitude.. She is pitiful, weak, yet proclaims power. Power of word, and of body but nothing that matters." he sighed, angered the more he thought about it. "I am sure you of all people can convince Sabrina to vacate Ara. Its her last attachment there after all. Either way.. given time I'll see her destroyed. If forty-thousand in gold means anything to anyone.. I'll have her head, and pin it nicely in my yard." He then laughed maniacally. He didn't want to put a bounty on her head, but if push came to shove, he would post it anonymously and see who bothers to take him up on it.

Xzavior just gave him a dry look as he said that, "Not very funny. I might not be connected to her like I used to but I don't want to go so far as to see her dead." Great. Another thing he had to watch out for potentially. He was starting to realize this is how Pilar felt after he had broken into the study. "As far as I remember Sabrina saying the house is sentient. So I'm sure that attachment can move. Don't quote me on that it is just an idea."

Desparrow turned a hard gaze on Xzavior, staring the naga down, "I know you may have had a short fling with her at one point, which I find rather distasteful.. to associate with filth.. If I want her dead, there isn't much that can be done. She either fails in her ascent to be Queen.. or she dies. Simple as that, there isn't anyone that can stop me, not right now, and not anybody that would care to. Also if Sabrina's house can truly do that, then good!."

Xzavior returned his stare. Des really was a curious one. Acting all sly and playing the sad sap one minute the next handing out death threats. In a way they had like minds. But Xzavior can actually pull that stuff off. "Careful what you do here Des." Not directly to his threat to have Artia killed, but his overall act.

Desparrow didn't know what he was talking about. "Be careful? I am very much so. It may not appear like it, but what I have going on.. friends helping me.. believing me to be the good samaritin, and slipping up here and there.. and behind the doors.. I am orchestrating the very chaos I am recruiting them to cease. Why!?" He didn't know why he was telling the man this, "Well.. Because I can! They will help because I truly do want to help. I just want to make the problem bigger first, take advantage of the chaos before it just crumbles into hell. I didn't expect the state of things would devolve so quickly though!"

Xzavior sputtered for a moment before laughing, throwing his head back even. "Oh ho ho gods it's true! Everyone involved with politics are insane! Des, please tell me you're good at covering up your tracks then. It would be a shame to see all that effort go to waste cause someone stumbled up on some small detail and unraveled everything!" He clasped a hand on the others shoulder still laughing.

Desparrow joined the laughter, "Oh my boy. I am quite good at it. If I wasn't.. then I surely wouldn't have gotten this far. More people will die, more chaos to be sown, and there I will stand not having to lift a finger. Sure its fun to step in but I've got to approach it delicately. I don't know why I'm bothering to tell you though. I can't guarantee you would be quiet which would make you more of a target than anything but as I grow in strength, perhaps I am getting overconfident. Oh well, at this point there isn't much to get in my way of getting what I want, and there is much fun yet to be had, in fact I am acquiring the attention of unique individuals who want in."

Xzavior bobbed his head side to side, "No you can't. But if it makes you feel any better I hate all this political bull. Which in itself is rather amusing because all it is is lying to people to get ahead of who you are rivaling against. I guess it just has to do with the principle." Him being a possible target didn't really sway him one way or another. He could handle himself if Des decided to keep him quiet through force. "But you got me a bit intrigued though. how come I'm not a unique individual hm?" He gave the lycan a smirk before laughing some more and shaking his head.

Desparrow grinned then, "Well, you have too many ties. I don't know if Sabrina would like it too much, being volatile, evil.. deceptive." he sighed, "She certainly didn't like the fact that I was.. still am.. also you may be unique. But you are young. I don't know if you could handle the plans I have in motion. There are a lot of things that I have yet to do, though if you happen to find interest, there are some things that I could use having done. If you ever feel up to causing a little chaos.. Shaking things up."

Xzavior placed both hands on his shoulder this time and looked him straight in his crazy lycan eyes, "What Sabrina doesn't know can't hurt her. And I know for a fact that she won't know. I am not a sweet and innocent person. And I'm sure as hell not young. Far from it Des. But yes, things have been bery drawl for me lately, so if ya have something in mind I might be inclined to look into it. Perhaps." He didn't even think twice about what he had said. True he was older then the lycan but surely it wasn't that big of a difference was it?

Desparrow flicked his tongue across his incisors, "I am planning to strike at the Cenril guard. I want to attack, take out their head, and any others of importance and let them fall into disarray. I also want as many recruited as possible. Though I also need to start spreading the faith of the moon. The Blood Moon Cult will rise.. Its merely an idea but that is how it all starts.. The gift of Lycanthropy to all whom want power, the power to protect themselves, their loved ones.. or simply do what they please.. This idea, this promise of power, protection.. will be enough to start gathering a faith, and then I will have an army."

Xzavior didn't really care what Desparrow's end game was. Xzavior didn't live in the city and as far as he knew no one else did either. As long as that army of wolves weren't sicked on him or anyone he cared about at some point he would be more or less fine about it. "I may or may not be able to get the task done myself. And be a hell of a lot more discreet about it. You don't need to pick the lock to have someone killed when they'll open the door for you." He still had both hands on Desparrow but slowly Xzavior began to shimmer and after a good minute or two and left behind was a near perfect clone of Desparrow. "Takes a bit but I can make it work." The voice was off though. He hadn't really tried this before so he would need some practice.

Desparrow looked him up and down, "Boy.. if you were gay..." obvious what that thought was. "Killing someone looking like me isn't the greatest way to make sure I'm not incriminated. Though if you are talking about spreading the faith, be my guest. I need more numbers, and the greater I become.. Death, destruction.. Chaos.. Blood and Fire. As I rise to power so will those under me rise in strength." he looked at the mimic of himself, impressed, "And to get into the guards.. I have a few people you could replicate.. even an outfit to match."

Xzavior pointed at him. As him. Hehe, funny. "That was the plan. I'm not dumb enough to do something like this but yea. I could use an outfit to match the act. Though acting as though you can be in multiple places at once can help with your power play." though Des' first comment didn't go unnoticed. Xzavior shifted back and gave the lycan a smirk, "Not too far off. But you only want to use the body I could be, don't ya?" His smirk only grew wider at that.

Desparrow shrugged, "I'd do myself in a heartbeat. You? Meh.. I don't think snake man is really in my personal taste. Sorry bud." he laughed then, "However on the point of rising to power you have a point. Appearing more than one place.. and with you learning how to use magic how I do.. you could even pull off the style, more convincing if you can show off power like I do. Not necessarily of the same degree but even small displays of my versaitility could be enough to show that I am certainly.. you. well.. That you are me. And yea.. you wanna be me.. You'll need a little work sculpting out the finger details. I am after all physically amazing."

Xzavior couldn't hold back the laugh even for such a serious topic, "Your narcissism knows no bounds does it?" After a moment he caught his breath and relaxed a bit, "Alright. So the whole thing is set up pretty well as it is. Just pick up on some things and off we go raising your status through the roof. Of course I would expect a little something from this. And teaching me doesn't count. We've been at this long before."

Desparrow nodded, "I haven't found a limit yes. and on a serious note yes.. Rise to power, seize control. Though." he narrowed his eyes before relaxing at the mention of a price, though such a request wans't unreasonable to make, after all trades were important in business.. "What would you want?"

Xzavior smirked at Des' quick distaste. What? Xzavior wasn't going to give out handouts like this. He was putting his life and reputation on the line. Though he wasn't quite sure as to what he would want right now. "As it were I want nothing. But later down the line I may need something from you be it gold or otherwise. If it is a request it isn't going to be anything ludacris or unreasonable. Unless ludacris is something you'd like to be apart of."

Desparrow stepped up to Xzavior, "I haven't waited on the request of a man in a long time, consider yourself lucky." he then reached to grab the boy by his hair and pull him in for a quick kiss. When he pulled away he licked across his lips. "Heh.." he was growling now, not in hostility however. "I'll accept your request, to hold onto this favor that you will want down the line, whatever it may be. Also if you haven't learned yet, from hearsay or otherwise, I am rather ridiculous."

Xzavior lifted a brow slightly as he was suddenly pulled into a kiss from the lycan, when he pulled away he straightened up and smirked a bit, "Well I have a knack for working with people. Well, depends on how you look at work." He was content with the fact that he now had a favor from the lycan. Perhaps he could gain some more in the future? Wasn't like he was going to use them against him. "So Des, what's your thoughts on snake men now?" He snickered to himself a bit but held a straight face for the most part.

Desparrow licked his lips, shrugging in answer to his question. "Taste dry.. scaly texture." with that he stuck his tongue out, intent on turning the questions against the other to be more of an annoyance, "As for people, you have a knack for mimicry, and if you can spread faith, well then there we go. If you can murder, even better. Abduct, you're a triple threat. Cenril will be at its knees in no time, bending to my will and begging to be saved."

Xzavior on;y chuckled at his little jabs, "A bit like wet dog." He stuck his forked tongue out in kind but blew raspberries like a kid at him. But on the more serious side he nodded at the tasks, "Spreading the faith, just give me the tasks, point me where to and I'll see if I can't get some converts. Sadly you won't be seeing me at any masses. Can't really go against my creator," he chuckled and moved on, "Murder is simple enough. Give me the target, let me scope out the place and things are bound to happen. Abducting, a bit more complicated then killing. I'd need somewhere to hide the victim. Abandoned building or something." He had an idea of where he might be able to put them but he wouldn't tell Des right at this moment.

Desparrow dropped his jaw a bit, "Wet dog!?" he sounded offended, head turning as if he had taken another blow. "Wet freaking dog.." he didn't have a response, the insult leaving him with a grin. "Anyone that looks afraid, is afraid of being taken advantage of, that can't protect themselves.. or their loved ones.. and murder.. the targets I have fully yet to scope out but there will be many." he looked down, kicking his heel against the ground while shaking his head, "Wet freaking dog." muttered under his breath.

Xzavior chuckled at his response to the jab and mentally marked a point for himself on this one, "Haha, oh it wasn't that bad." And back to serious, "Well whatever may come I'm sure that finding a body frozen stiff with no traces of ice should send people running for their nearest savior."

Desparrow shook his head once more, "Wasn't that bad snake boy? I may have a moist nose, and I've never had a complaint from the ladies about how I taste..." he huffed then, jutting his chin to the air, more than proud of his physical capability. "And neither has any man." he sighed, "Murder, yes.. when people realize that My gift will give them their safety, they too will come crawling for the power.."

Xzavior tapped the side of his nose when he said that, "What did I say Des. I ain't a kid. That I've been told by quite a few people." Wait, no one he knew said that had they? As far as he knew no one had even mentioned his age before other then Irenic. Whatever. He must just be tired.

Desparrow shook his head, "Oh nothing. Wet Dog isn't an insult.. Thats fine.. I'll get over it.. And to me, you look like a little boy, but age isn't everything." He must be getting that way too.. he was running out of quips and it was really showing. "I.. I. Hmm." he thought he had an insult about molting but it wasn't formulating right. "I got nothin."

Xzavior did however. "Well that's good to hear. Some say that age and experience are related. So if that is true, then you must not have much experience." He chuckled and leaned back into his coils, crossing his arms while looking down at the lycan.

Desparrow would get him back for that one. "Maybe.. maybe.. This isn't the last of this conversation.. When I am.. more together.. We will continue." he growled, turning and stalking off.. "Until next time snake 'boy'." Sadly for now that was the best insult he could come up with right now
