RP:An Awkward Meeting With A Humorous End

From HollowWiki

Synopsis: Ehli, Desparrow, and Kyros meet in the Tavern... Things quickly get awkward and then get... a little weird.

Location: Kelay Tavern

Date: 03 December, 2011

Characters: Desparrow, Ehli, Fienicks, Kyros, Raziel

Greetings

Desparrow grins as he slowly steps over to Ehli's chair, removing bits of armor, first his gauntlets, then his helm, before removing his breastplate to reveal the shirt underneath

Ehli flips another page and moved her hand toward the table, tapping it a few times before finally taking hold of her coffee, she seemed too focused on the book. Lifting the cup, holding it there for a full minute before taking a sip.

Kyros steps into the Tavern, his body cold from the outside air, and he walks over to the fire briefly to warm himself up. He shakes his head, rubbing his hands together, and with his messy black hair sticking around his cheeks and forehead, he sighs and turns, for the first time, to survey the occupants of the cavern. He spots Desparrow immediately, the elf's features familiar, and then Ehli, his eyes scanning over the woman's frame briefly. He moves over, fingers curled tightly to keep in warmth. "Hello, Desp," he says, and nods to the female because, though he's heard her name in passing, he's sure that he doesn't yet know her. "I'm Kyros," he says, pushing hair behind his ear before offering his hand out to shake hers.

Desparrow turns just a bit to glance upon the other whom had walked into the tavern, if only to save themself from the biting cold. A small grin crept upon his lips as he eyes the form of the human, "Greetings Kyros." and then he turned to the bar and meandered over to order three whiskeys, one for each of them should they ever need one, and if they didn't.. well he would drink them all himself. It was then that he sat down waiting for his order before leaning against the bar and observing the two interact with one another.

Ehli finally heard someone spoke, lowering the book a bit as she glance around the room, Desparrow and the one that spoke came into view, finally placing the cup back down as she said, "I... I am not sure why you are saying your name to me...." confused what is the reason of this.

Kyros quickly withdraws the hand he's offered her to shake, seemingly taken aback. He glances at Desparrow and then back to the female. "I, um. I'm a friend of Desparrow's, and I've heard your name mentioned around these lands... I thought perhaps," he cut himself off and shook his head, taking a brief step back, hands moving into his pockets instead. "I apologize."

Desparrow grabs the whiskey bottles and drops the coins on the counter for Mesthak to take. A slight chuckle passes his lips as cerulean eyes take in the awkward scene. "Well friends. Perhaps a more formal meeting." his eyes pass back to the Jangal feling, his grin expanding a bit before turning back to the other two. Pulling out a chair for himself, and then for Kyros, he sat down, gently setting the bottles down and then downing half of his own in one go. It was then that he leaned over to Ehli to whisper something in her ear.

Kyros takes the offered chair and sits down, hands wrapping around the whiskey in front of him, and he eyes the two, watching as Desparrow whispers to her, and he can't help but feel a bit unsure of himself, anxious.

Ehli sighs and finally stuffs the book back into her pack, removing her reading glances, she turned to Kyros and said, "I am, Elizabeth Mistfall... or Ehli for short... nice to meet you..." her voice felt unsure, she is never good at talking to sudden strangers. Extending her hand cautiously, wondering if the man would shake it.

Kyros glances at Desparrow again, but then his eyes fall back to Ehli. He smiles just briefly, uncertain but seemingly less so than before, and his hand moves from the bottle of whiskey to take hers. His grip is strong for a human's, and he shakes her hand with a firm feigned confidence, eyes scanning over her face and then the rest of her features and settling on her eyes. "I'm Kyros," he says again, withdrawing his hand after a few moments. "Nice to meet you."

Desparrow nods as he takes another gulp form his bottle before setting it back down and leaning back in his chair, "There, now that wasn't so hard was it. Now that we are all acquainted, how are you both?" he chuckled a bit, eyes flitting between the two of them, wondering which will answer first. He would check both of their faces when they did respond, to get how they truly felt beneath their features, under the mask that they may or may not put up.

Kyros shrugs his shoulders and glances at Ehli, then back to Desparrow to answer his question. "Cold," he says briefly, an evasive sort of answer, though he seems stressed, anxious, as if he's not sure what exactly to expect. This is how Kyros is when he meets someone new. It was much the same reaction he'd had when meeting Desparrow, albeit in completely different circumstances.

Ehli shook the man's hand, unsure why does he have to hold her hand that firmly, clipping her glasses by her blouse, she glanced at Desparrow and Kyros, "Fine I guess, just trying to get some time wasted...." picking up her cup once more and taking a sip, she stared at Kyros and said, "So he asked you?" pointing at Desparrow for as she asks, wondering why did the High-Elf wanted her to meet the Human

Desparrow tilted his head curiously, not really paying attention to Shalamar as she walked in, but when she placed the snake around his neck he allowed himself to give her a brief smile. His hand idly went up to comfort the snake, he was fond of them, and naturally being what he was, they were fond of him. Slowly the ethereal serpentine spirit slithered out of his body and coiled about its master. This spirit gave him the ability to entice other creatures such as this very snake. As his eyes moved to Kyros, they stayed on him, the piercing orbs knowing what he was feeling before he answered. "No I didn't ask him to meet you. But it is nice to have friends isn't it?"

Ehli shakes her head a few times, "Nah, its just..... its just I am not good in meeting new people, usually I require reason before meeting someone, ofcourse everything has a reason." tapping her chin a few times, "You have not, don't worry..." turning to Desparrow and said, "Somehow I fell that you are actually tellling him what he should answer..."

Desparrow drops his jaw a bit and leans back further, "Me? Please, how can I account for the manners and humility that another possesses? It isn't me. This is all him," he gestured to Kyros, putting all the credit on the human for his humble way of approaching the elven woman. His boyish grin became evident again, nodding between the two before he stood up, finishing his whiskey and needing another. "Would either of you like anything?"

Kyros raised his eyebrows uncertainly and looked her up and down. "I assure you," he laughed, "My words are my own. If Desparrow were telling me what to answer, I'd probably sound much smarter than I do, and much less nervous." With a short, humble nod of his head, he took a sip of whiskey and leaned back in his seat. "I may perhaps have just wanted to meet you, after seeing you around for some time, since I came to these lands... I do make it a habit to speak to pretty women at any opportunity," he smiled then, playfully teasing, and looked at her once more. "Perhaps I just think you seem to be interesting."

Distractions

Fienicks skulks through the tavern door, cinereal gaze fixed upon the floor boards so as to avoid catching any eye contact from the patrons. With steps nearly inaudible, the elf traverses the distance between the door and a vacant stool at the bar. With all the nimbleness that is afforded to his race, the youth hops onto the stool and beckons the barkeep.

Ehli crosses her leg over as both of them spoke, "I'm good with my coffee..." turning to Kyros he said, "Sound smarter?" confused, she glanced at Desparrow wondering if the human was just joking, shaking the idea off, she turned to the man and said, "I think that is not a bad habit..." trying to keep it as a friendly conversation, "Interesting you say.... in what way I wonder?"

Desparrow crosses to the bar, his eyes wandering over the newest patron, the other elf that had walked in and tried to avoid interaction it seemed. "Greetings." he nodded, not sure if the other would hear or realize that he was being spoken to as he ordered another whiskey for himself, allowing the other two to converse.

Fienicks looks up, startled, from his interlocked digits resting on the bar. "G-good day, sir. How does autumn day find you?" he inquires. At first glance, the necromancer appears to be the apprehensive type.

Kyros shrugged and offered her a smile. "I try to keep good habits," he said slowly. "In what way do you seem interesting? Well," he shrugged. "You seem to have a few interesting personality quirks, and aside from that, I feel like you've got a lot of things like good looks and power and, I don't know," he laughed, trailing off, "There are a lot of qualities you posess that I enjoy in other people; is that a bad thing?"

Desparrow snapped his attentions to the elf that had surprisingly answered him. Stepping over for the moment, he offered a hand, "For now? I am quite nice actually. You? Ah wait. I haven't formally introduced myself. Desparrow Ryder. You are?"

Ehli listens carefully at the man's words, "I am not sure actually if its a bad thing... you never really answered, the things you said could be more or less truth or lies, somewhere between... it made me think if you are secretive... but why tell all to a new someone, Yes?" He doesn't seem to be a threat to her, ignoring the thought, to some point, this is getting a bit boring, wondering what would happen next.

Fienicks nods as his sensitive elven ears pick up the gentleman's name. As he extends a hand for the proper greeting of a handshake, the lad parts his lips to expel, "The name's Fienicks D'Hermont. A pleasure," he says, a warm smile now making itself visible upon his otherwise worrisome features. Raziel appears from the south.

Kyros narrowed his eyes. She thought he was lying? "I haven't even told you anything to be lying about. I've just presented my stance on what ways I think you're interesting. Interest is a matter of opinion. You're foolish to think that's something anyone would actively lie about." He raised an eyebrow at her, unsure why she was being so standoffish and glancing to Desparrow, wishing the other hadn't wandered off now.

Desparrow nods, firmly taking the hand offered and shaking it just once before he let go. "As is meeting you Fienicks. I should actually probably be getting back to my friends, but perhaps we can talk again?" Not waiting for an answer, he took his fresh bottle of whiskey and joined his companions once more

Raziel walks with swift steps into the tavern, going straight to the board to shove a note upon it. The woman takes off her hat to brush a hand through her hair, before going to her usual table in the back and orders a vodka... Upon getting said vodka, she'd down the first and then ask for a second, though that one would be drinken slowly.

Ehli does not know why, she is just like that, making quick judgements to people before they could even show themselves. "I'm sorry if I had offended you at some point... its just... a quirk of mine, as you say."

Fienicks merely raises his shoulders in a shrug while simultaneously emitting a sigh. The necromancer again summons Mesthak, "Can I get some service, here!?"

Kyros shakes his head, offering a quick smile. His eyes shift from Ehli's form as he sees Raziel enter the Tavern. He recognizes her as the one he'd seen fight Zaxx, and he watches her stick a note up onto the board - last time she'd done this, it hadn't ended very well for her, he remembers, and he motions for Ehli to wait before making his way over to the board. He reads the note she'd placed there and, eyebrows raising, glances at the woman. "Someone's destroyed your shop?" he asks, seeming not to give too much thought to abandoning the table he'd sat at with Ehli a moment before.

Desparrow glances between Kyros and Ehli quickly before sitting down, "So how are we getting along?" he meant to interrupt the miniature conflict that had been developing. That was until Kyros got up and wandered off as well. A brief sigh escaped his lips as he wondered how and where the little meeting went haywire. Perhaps it could be salvaged. Once he had taken his seat he leaned over and whispered to the other elven woman.

Desparrow whispered something to Ehli.

Ehli whispered something to Desparrow.

Raziel turns to Kyros, recognizing his voice, as she sips her vodka once more. "Yeah. Which is bothersome, as I happen to have two children that I care for... You were the one talking to Zaxx that day... Name's Raziel."

Desparrow whispered something to Ehli.

Ehli whispered something to Desparrow.

Kyros nods. "I was. I haven't gotten the chance to speak to you, but I've wanted to since that day," he tells her, tucking a long, curly strand of black hair, messy with sweat, behind his ear. He takes a mouthful of the whiskey he'd brought with him before motioning to the seat next to her. "May I sit?" he asks, noticing Desparrow having joined Ehli again, the two of them whispering, and feels less bad about his immediate distraction.

Raziel nods as she finishes off the second glass of vodka, not ordering any more than that. "Yeah, you can if you wish. I've no qualms with that." Raz would certainly seem less fighty today. Raz would also adjust her fedora, a bad habit she's given herself. "So, if I may inquire, what was it you wished to speak to me about?"

Kyros keeps his eyes on his whiskey briefly, then looks up at her, watching her perhaps a little longer than he would watch one who could see him watching. "I felt as though it was rude of me to not... defend you or, or otherwise help you against Zaxx that day. Surely you're capable of yourself, you proved that, but still it was unfair, and it was cowardly of me not to help you." He shakes his head, downing the last of his whiskey. "Had there been any chance I'd not have been defeated alongside you, I would have intervened, you know."

Desparrow sighs and looks up, glancing at Raziel and Kyros having their conversation before returning his gaze to Ehli, "Look.. I am sorry. If you don't want to meet anyone, I can't make you, and I didn't try to get you two to meet, that was all him. But when he tried to introduce himself, I thought it would be good for you." His right index finger idly digs into the table, scratching swirls into the wood.

Raziel raises a brow at those words, no one's ever made an apology like that to her before. With a shrug, and another habit of wrapping her arms around her stomach area where the Prek gave her a nasty kick she smiles to him, "Don't apologize. It was of my own stupidity to cause him anger. I accepted the consequences that followed and I have no regrets. Nor am I upset for not getting any assistance." she even gives a soft chuckle before muttering "Just was a bit too damned fiesty that day." she rubs the bandage at the left side of her neck before adding "I believe it'll do you well to get that out of your conscience. I'm not upset with anyone, but myself."

Ehli frowns and stares at him, "As I said earlier... meeting new people isn't wrong, its just it needed a certain, moment, chance of some sort. Maybe you didn't make him meet me but the very idea that you know him made me thought of it that way..."

Kyros smiles some, with the sides of his mouth curled up into a soft smile. "It was more that you didn't know that worried me... I loathe to be thought of as a coward, particularly by such a capable duelist as yourself. I was really impressed by your fighting technique... Surely Zaxx was, too, you could see it on his face." He gave a chuckle, watching her as she rubbed the bandage on her neck. "What happened there?" he asks, and adds for her benefit, "To your neck," as he remembers she can't see the hand that motioned to the bandages.

Desparrow nods, "I get it.. Sorry. Didn't mean to offend. Well listen. Ehli.. I have got things I should be getting to. There is a profit to be made today. I will talk to you later, alright?" Standing, he didn't wait for an answer and left the tavern, heading south east.

Raziel continues to smile, chuckling softly once more as he mentions what Zaxx's face must've looked like. "Well... I'm only a capable duelist because of my father's teachings... But, thank you." her hand pauses, as he mentions the bandage, the woman replacing it to being around her middle. "Oh, it's just a little wound that's been there for a couple weeks. I don't really need the bandage any more, but it's not something all too pretty."

Kyros nods and wrinkles his nose slightly at the thought of the neck wound. He eyes her up and down. "Well, if I were a healer...." his voice trails off. "I apologize for being something so useless. I do make up for it in wit and good company." Kyros drops his eyes down to his drink, noticing again that it's empty, and signals Mesthak over. He orders a whiskey for himself before glancing to Raziel. "Would you like another drink?" he asks, tilting his head. Perhaps it's means to coax her into staying and talking, if he can.

Raziel shakes her head at the word healer "No, no. It's completely ok. I can slightly heal with magic... But my dad and I... We don't use healers, we manage and heal on our own... Heh, guess were both pretty stubborn... And company's as good as anything, sir." once more she shakes her head at his question "Oh, no thank you. I don't really wish for another drink, though I am staying here for a while to clear my mind of the shop thing... We were going to expand it anyways, but perhaps moving it a ways is safer..." the last part about the shop was more like a thought said aloud.

Kyros nods and takes his whiskey, sliding gold across the table and taking another mouthful of the harsh liquor. His eyes scan over the woman next to him. "If you need any help... I may not be good for much, but I'm strong, and if you're relocating your shop, perhaps I could help." He shrugs his shoulders and crosses his arms in front of him on the bar. "Have you friends who will help you? Surely a woman as capable and attractive as yourself has plenty of friends," he laughs.

Raziel blushes lightly at his comment, the woman never very good at hiding such things. "Yes, I have friends who are helping. One of them is hiring sailors and the like to assist with the building. I'm certain we've got all the help we can get, but if you ever feel like passing your time by doing some manual labor, you can certainly help. I'd even pay you for your assistance if you wish... As for today though, it's just cleaning up the mess and fixing plans.. That and I'll have to venture around Cenril to see if there's any open areas. Though I do believe the kids will have to be left at my father's. They're safe there, after all." she blinks before asking "Oh, may I ask what your name is, sir? I don't believe I caught it."

A Reappearance

Desparrow appears in a brief flash of light, removing his bloody gauntlets and setting them on the nearest table before taking a seat, if only to relax a bit before heading back into the fray.

Kyros nods and offers a hum to show he's listening. At the questions, he says, "oh," in surprise. "You're right, I don't believe we've formally met at all. I'm Kyros Atheoso, currently of Xalious, but I roam frequently," he says, raising eyebrows at her. "And you're Raz, correct?" he says, only knowing so for having asked others about her shortly after the fight he'd witnessed. He seemed to be rather taken with her, at least. "It's nice to meet you," he says quietly. "And I'll also be of assistance with your shop any way I can."

Raziel smiles to him once more, nodding in return "Kyros is a wonderful name. Mine rather long, but, my full name is Raziel "Glitch" RavenWolf LeskoVac. Sometimes, on the board, I just sign it "RGRL, Glitch, or White Wolf. So, if you ever see one of those on the board, and you think it'll get me into trouble... Perhaps do me a favor and tear it off, then throw it into the fire..." she chuckles again "Don't need me to get into fights again, I suppose. As for me, I live in Cenril, but I roam between here and there. And it's very nice to meet you as well." Being blind, Raz wouldn't notice Desp's entrance... Though the scent of the blood on his gauntlets made her nose crinkle slightly.

Desparrow turns his gaze upon the two whom still seemed to be in their heated conversation. The corners of his mouth turned up into a smile as he simply observed, not wanting to intrude upon their time. The blood on his gauntlets was that of goblins, slowly drying, but he himself had no care for the smell either; however he had gotten used to it.

Kyros glances back to see Desparrow enter. A knowing look is given to the elf before he turns to look back at Raziel, his body shifting on the barstool to sit a bit closer, an action that is mostly subconscious, an attempt to keep himself grounded, and he swerves in his barstool to be facing her a bit more fully. "Well, Raziel-Glitch-RavenWolf-LeskoVac," he says quickly, the words all fitting together as if they were one. "I think it's a lovely name. I particularly like RavenWolf. Though I'm not sure what to think of you yet..." his voice trails off there. "Perhaps I should get to know you better, do you think?"

Raziel smirks at how Kyros said her name, finding that a tad humorous, though she still liked it. "Well... RavenWolf was a name given to me by my first teacher, so I like it too... Hmmm... What could you wish to learn about me, dear?"

Desparrow sighs, not in loneliness, but that it was actually a time when he wasn't being badgered by someone in his head, or verbally in front of him. Taking this rare moment, he leaned back against the wall in his chair and closed his eyes, allowing the calm ambiance of the tavern to slowly lull him to a restful sleep.

Kyros shakes his head as he looks at her. "I hadn't thought that far, yet. I suppose to just continue learning you to see if my first impression was correct, is all," he says, his eyes glancing her up and down. He eyes her legs, the way in which she sits on the barstool, and the curve of her back, her bosom and then her arms, taunt and smooth, before he looks at her face once more, and his teeth worry over his lower lip. "Perhaps you could tell me about yourself, anything you don't mind me knowing, and I can tell you some about me?"

Raziel , being blind as can be, wouldn't notice his looking over her body. Though, had her raven been with today, he probably would've offered the man a swift peck to the head. Though Raz faces her lap, her long legs crossing at the ankles as she talks. "Well... I can give you my life in a nut shell... I was abandoned when I was born, for being blind. A pack of wild wolves found me and raised me like a cub. They were killed off by an orc, for gods know what reason. I tried fighting the orc, but a man came along and killed it instead, saving me. He taught me, and that's how I can talk common and such. Then I lived in the forest for several years, alone, and ended up stumbling across Kelay. Muraski had found me in Cenril, and hired me... Though after a while he adopted me as his daughter. And a few other things happened between there, like when I fought a wraith to save the children that I now care for... And that's basically it, unless you want details on anything else." she then adds "And you?"

Kyros listens with intent, his eyes either staying on the woman's face or on his own glass of whiskey from that point. He's taking a great interest to her story even now, and when she's done, he utters a, "Wow," under his breath, clearly unsure of what to think of that. He shakes his head and looks down. "Me... I, uh," he pauses and thinks of the fact that no one in these lands knows his story, and he's not sure if telling her may cause harm or not. "I... Well, I had a simple life for the first sixteen years of it. My father was a death knight, and he died in battle," he says. This is mostly true. "When I was sixteen, I left home... I traveled. I was a bandit, a thief for several years... Then I came to Kelay to train. I want to become a fighter, and learn the skills of battle. That is what I'm doing here now," he says slowly. "I haven't much of a story compared to yours, I'm afraid."

Raziel listens closely, his story does sound simple, though there's a few underlying things to the nature of it. "I see... Well, it's still your life. Whatever happened is any type of story, whether it's long or not. I'm afraid my life is only as much as it is due to the length of life..." she laughs softly and shrugs "Though, I'm probably still considered just a kid to my own kind, I truly don't know." Raziel stretches her arms ahead of her, curving her back forward for a moment. "Say... Do you happen to know when the full moon is?" she laughs softly before adding "I was going to go fishing that night, because fish seem to like when there's a full moon."

Kyros shakes his head. He has no need to keep up with the full moon, and a moment later he replies, "I know when the last one was. It was early November. I believe that means it's soon that there will be another one." He watches her stretch and, damned if he hadn't mentally resigned on looking at her form instead of her face, but the action seems to be asking of it, and so he watches the way her back curves and her arms stretch. Perhaps if she could see him looking, he'd be more subtle. As it is, out of modesty for himself, he turns away after a moment. "I apologize," he says, though it's not clear what he's apologizing for at first. Then he says, "I can't really seem to keep from... watching you, and I feel badly about it. You're beautiful."

Desparrow is still sleeping...

Raziel nods as she listens to his words. "I see. Thank you then, I'll keep that in mind and I'll have my raven keep an eye out for me." As he mentions that he's watching her, her blush from before returns with a deeper red than then, a shy chuckle given. "Thanks, I guess. Since I can't see, I really don't care. Not like you're seeing me without clothing or something." she shrugs, and adds "Though I highly suggest you don't do that if Mura or my family members are about."

Downhill From Here

Raziel throws a boot at Desparrow

Raziel gave 1 boot to Desparrow.

Desparrow is struck by a boot and slumps to the floor, knocked further into the realm of unconciousness.

Kyros laughs at her words and shakes his head. "Oh, no. I wouldn't. Um, your family members," he laughs shyly, looking away. "I wouldn't look at you in front of them, but I... I still think you're pretty." His poor attempt at flirting makes him look away, back to his whiskey, and he clears his throat. "I don't know who Mura is, I don't believe."

Raziel gently moves to pat his shoulder, smiling to him. "No, it's plenty alright. And I'm afraid by family I mean what I call my Pack. Roytoc, Aeonis, their brothers, and my children. As for Muraski." she shrugs crossing her arms again. "I call him Alpha, but really my family considers me such... It's our own way of speaking. Not that it matters much."

Raziel blinks. "Jab Desp with the pointy stick... to wake him up." shrug.

Kyros goes over to Desp and flips back the chair he's sleeping in. There.

Desparrow snaps awake from the rather enjoyable slumber, thinking that someone had been wanting a fight. His aura surged in this brief moment of confusion as he slammed agains the floor and quickly stood. The ribbons of magic that formed the aurora around him were visible, wrapping tighter against his body to the point that it all coalesced and appeared as an iridescent glow that surrounded the elf. Desparrow said, "Who dares awaken me from my slumber!"

Raziel waves to Desp, with a chuckle of amusement.

Kyros raises his hand slowly while he watches Desparrow. "I did," he shrugs. "You've been sleeping too long, anyway, and you should come have a whiskey with me." He shrugs his shoulders and walks back to where Raziel sits, watching Desparrow with a calm sort of complacency.

Kyros said to Raziel, "Well, you were right. You certainly are trouble."

Raziel blushes and scratches the back of her neck. "Yeah, I guess I am... Heh. Must be my fighting side again."

Desparrow sighs and calms down, the aura fading away into wisps of magic that slowly vanished like the dying light of a campfire. He stalked over to the bar and took a stool next to Kyros and ordered a whiskey, nodding to the male, "Alright, alright." his voice was soft, playful even though the look on his face was feigned irritation.

Kyros shrugs. "I suppose there's nothing wrong with that. You keep things interesting." He looks over at Desparrow then, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, what, are you mad?" he asks in a fiendishly mocking tone, clearly knowing the elf wasn't too upset. He nudges him to the edge of his stool before turning back to Raziel. "Anyway... I'll try not to eye you over in front of your family, yeah. Or in front of Desp... he'll get jealous," he nods, a playfully serious look on his face.

Raziel smiles after Kyros's words "Hoi, Sir Ryder." then she nods to Kyros, with a blush. "Like I said, it's fine.... Mesthak, may I have another vodka?" she asks the man, nodding before bringing it to her, the woman paying him before taking a sip.

Desparrow nods to Raziel, knowing full well she couldn't see him do it, "Greetings Miss." he playfully shoved Kyros back, and then gave him a light punch in the shoulder, "Ha! Me jealous? please..." he rolled his eyes and took a drink of the whiskey that was offered to him by Mesthak before dropping several copper coins on the counter.

Kyros wrinkles his nose when his shoulder is punched, and he waves his arm out at Desparrow. "Yes, you. I suppose you're good at hiding it, but that's far from the same as not being jealous at all." He rolls his eyes and turns away again, looking to Raziel. "I apologize. Anyway." He raises an eyebrow at her. "Oh, now you want another vodka? Did you just not want me paying for you?" he asks, eyebrows raising. "You ought to let me anyway. It would be polite," he shrugs and takes his whiskey again. "You never told me why you're so troublesome. Is that just your nature? Lack of self-preservation?" he asks.

Raziel paused before taking a sip, acting as though she's looking to the glass before saying "Oh, I'm just used to paying for myself is all. You don't need to pay for me, I don't mind." for a long while she ponders his question, taking another sip of the clear liquid. "Hmmm... I happened to have not figured it out myself. Guess I just attract it for the most part."

Desparrow pushed Kyros' arm away while he laughed, "I do do I? hmm... perhaps I will have to work on that.." with that remark made he slumped a bit on his stool and propped his elbows on the bar while taking another swig of his whiskey, obviously enjoying himself. Not once did he interrupt the conversation Raziel was having with Kyros, he didn't want to impose upon their meeting, and he actually did close his eyes again, playing some form of alien music in his head over and over again.

Kyros rolls his eyes. "Yes, please do," he tells the elf, and he watches as he slumped down against the bar, then he glances to Raziel once more. "Hey," he says slowly, "Perhaps you should figure that out. It's great fun, though, I expect." He smiles, watching her face curiously. And perhaps we can see each other again sometime? I've actually some business I must attend, but I want to see you again," he smiles, "If only to make up for being so useless during your kidnapping."

Raziel smiles to him, with a nod. "Perhaps. But, as I said. Don't be so upset about it. The kidnapping was my fault entirely. I learned my lesson... Ah, I've got some business to attend to as well. I gotta find my walking cane in the mess that is my rubbled shop." though she won't leave until she finishes her drink.
