RP:Alphonz steals the Green Rose

From HollowWiki

Dwarven Guard paces back and forth looking around the throne room for any sign of an unwanted guest. After hours of patrolling he streches and mumbles "I am hungry" he then sits down next to a wall and pulls some food from his pouch and begins to snack for a moment.

Alphonz gave a small smile wondering how he had gotten so lucky with a single guard watching the area. It was quite odd for one guard to be watching to royal room. Alphonz couldn"t help the gleam of greed that filled his eyes as he took in the marvelous room. not to mention the small fortune in gems. and that monster emerald. Good lord jow did one steal something like that. As quitely as possible the thief started to unfurl his tool of the trade.

Dwarven Guard finishes and swallows the last of his lunch, he wipes his mouth and then pulls out an old canteen made of leather and then begins chugging from his canteen with his eyes closed he lifts the canteen skyward and attempts to swallow its contents in a single draw. The noise of his gulping sounds out throughout the room echoing off the walls.

Alphonz gave a small grin seeing the guard distracted by his meal. Time to get to work. He quickly slid from shadow to shadow he would have to thank the designer of the room. silently he continued the treck always careful to keep his eyes on the guard. Quickly he searched for a loose rock along the ground. it took him a few moments but underground it wasn't exactly hard. he aimed carefully hurling the stone away from the large emerald to get the guards attention pointed in the right direction.

Dwarven Guard jumps up to his feet and runs towards the noise he points his spear forward and shouts "whoever is there show yourself he begins to slowly move around the room checking behind the furniture and the corners.

Alphonz gave a mental curse. Not exactly what he wanted but it would have to do. As the guard started to hunt for him the thief made his way to the monster of an emerald. mentally he was trying to figure out the best way to steal it subtly? or true classic smash and grab.

Dwarven Guard works his way around the room and after not finding the thief he turns around and notices the feline standing next to the emerald he then begins charging towards the thief with his spear pointed forward and a loud battle shout roars from the little dwarf.

Alphonz looked up at the battle cry." ohh bugger." Quick as a whip he had snatched the emerald from its resting place. He always had been a fan of the smash and grab. now he merely needed to smash something. coming out of his musing he realised the dwarf was quite close so he did what all thieves do best he turned tail and simply ran. Ducking back into the shadows as best as possible. but lord it was a heavy gem.

Dwarven Guard shouted as the thief ran out of the room. He then pulled out his horn from his belt and its sound reverberated off the walls. In the distance the clanking of armor can be heard all around the palace as the guards begin rushing towards the throne room comming to the aid of the guard.

Alphonz quickly moved the gem into his pack. Easily falling onto all fours as he ran much faster. guards could be heard pouring from side passages and other areas of the palace." oh lord oh lord. " a small mantra popped up as he continued to flee. he tried very hard to not injure any guards. after all that was a sign of a good thief.

Dwarven Guard charged forward, but lost sight of the feline. He then meets up with other guards who have come into the throne room and together they begin searching the palace inch by inch although the thief was by now far down the road.

Alphonz ducked and dived. taking more then a few wrong turns in his haste to escape the underground labrinth as he was now dubbing it. what seemed like hours was merely minutes as the feline thief quickly made his way to freedom. A few last twists and turns and he burst from the cavernous enteance he had found earlier that day. Taking massive gasps o the fresh air before he hustled away intent on stashing the wonderfull treasure he had just pilfered.
