PT I: Claiming a new pet

Gorkall made his way through the crowded city streets of Gamorg until he reached the entrance to the citys prison. Upon entering the smell of waste and blood rushed into his nostrils causing even himself to squint his eyes and nose in disgust. A nod was given to Crammer as Gorkall moved to the guard patting him on the back and sliding a copper coin in his palm allowing him to take his break. Gorkall moved past pleading prisoners who begged for food and mercy. Their cries where unheard as he had his dulled gaze set upon his prize. He stood now before the sturdiest cage in the prison that held the seductive feline 'Lisi' within. A smile formed across his visage and he placed his palms around two bars of the cage and he spoke in a intimidating voice to the woman. "Here kitty, kitty. Come see Master Gorkall." He chuckled beneath his breath as he stared to the feline. Awaiting her to come over to him.

Lisi lay curled on the waste covered floor, shivering from the smell and sounds that plagued her. She held her eyes shut, trying to force herself to think of something other than the world going on around her. The feline had been in the cell for days. How many, she wasn't sure. Hunger and sleep deprivation kept her mental state on edge. She had kept herself in the corner of the cell, farthest from the bars, away from anything that may try and grab at her. Through the moans and screams of pain, or death, she heard heavy footsteps. They grew closer to her cell, and Lisi knew it to be the guard. That filthy beast would stand at the bars, whistling for her, saying things that made bile rise from an empty stomach. But when the words of the ogre hit her ears, her eyes opened wide, in fear. She raised herself slowly, with the energy she had, to look at him with a glare. The feline let a little hiss escape her teeth.

Gorkall narrowed his eyes to Lisi at the hiss. "C'mon now, Kitten no need to be spiteful." Gorkall reached into his bag and pulled out a fresh biscuit still moist and steaming. He allowed the aroma to settle around Lisi's cage. "Hungry? I'm sure you are." Gorkall would smirk as he tossed the biscuit to the ground below and smashed it with his foot. Rubbing it into the filthy ground. "Here's the deal, Kitten. I haven't had a buyer on you and it's starting to look like no one in this world cares a lick about your life." Gorkall began to circle the cage slowly passing about. "This pains me, It really does. Because your a lovely little girl. Honestly you are. So here is the deal. I've decided to give you a choice. A rather simple one really. Your choices are this." Gorkall let his eyes meet Lisi's as he peeled his lips back to reveal spiked teeth. "You may either become my personal pet, a slave of sorts to be rather blunt. You will do as I say, when I say without question. Now I don't believe in all this magical dabbling with slavery for I feel that any man worth his own can make sure his slaves stay in line. Else, they find themselves dead. Now, Don't think I'm going to put you into some labor mill or the likes for you are far too pretty for all of that. No, I think I would just keep you around as a maid more or less and who knows. Perhaps you can do your job well enough to earn your freedom one day. With that on the table, You do have another choice. I could take you to the gallows out by the mist forest and end all of this right now. It's up to you really. Though I would hope a cute one like yourself can see the lesser of two evils." Gorkall placed his fingers in coils back around the bars staring to Lisi again.

Lisi watched with starving eyes as the orge pulled the biscuit from his bag. The smell danced under her nose and she stumbled over herself to try and grab at it. But, before she could get her small hands near it, Gorkall threw it to the floor and stomped it into the dirty and decay. Lisi fell to her knees just before bars, her stomach in pain. She let her chin fall to her chest and listened to the filth that fell from the ogre's mouth. Death, or slavery. All because she wanted a little fun, maybe a night with a rich elf or a thief with a bounty on his head. It all came to a simple decision. She didn't want to die, but she wasn't going to become some love slave of this beast. Lisi raised her emerald eyes to him, wondering how she could bare to look the brute in the face. She took a deep breath, tossed her head back to move the hair from her face. "You drive a hard bargain." she said, as calmly as she could despite how much she wished to dig her nails into his flesh. "I can hardly believe that no man around here would pay for such a woman like me, compared to the looks of woman of your kind." Lisi gave the ogre a smirk, "And I'm sure you've got them on their knees begging for a night in bed with you. I don't see why you'd need a fragile thing like me hanging around, but death doesn't sound to nice for me right now."

Gorkall smirked as Lisi's decision was made. He moved to the cage and began to fiddle with the chain of keys on his belt. "Oh, Don't worry kitten. I won't be doing you any favors. I already have a mate who ironically is one of your kind. I'm sure you've seen your way around more than anyone else here. I wouldn't take the chance." Raising the ring of keys, Gorkall separated the one to Lisi's cell from the rest of them and slide it into the lock twisting it. The click of the lock echoed as prisoners began to yell and beg for the same fate as Lisi's. Gorkall opened the door and moved to the side holding out his right hand to help Lisi down from her perch. "Now c'mon. You've been in here long enough. I know a place where we can go to get you a bite. But only after you bathe. I won't be seen with a stinking whore."

Lisi watched with anxious eyes as the ogre reached to open the cell. Her stomach growled loudly and she pulled herself up to her feet as best she could. As Gorkall extended his hand to her, she hesitated, wondering she was doing the right thing. Who knew how long he would keep her under his thumb before he finally decided to release her. But, the promise of food and cleaniness was too much for her. She took his hand, but gave him a glare in return. "To make it clear, I haven't been with THAT many men."

Gorkall chuckled once more at her words. "Sure you haven't kitten, Sure you haven't." He said in a sarcastic tone. Helping the feline down he led her out of the prison as Crammer returned to his post. The duo leaving the cries of pain and suffering behind.

PT II: Washing the dirt away

Gorkall moved through the mystical forest of Sage and towards the entrance of Enchantment. The Ogre had released Lisi's hand a few miles back finally allowing her some room. He thought her to know better than to run off by penalty of death. As the duo moved through the chilled fall night the sound of running water would soon become louder, and louder. After a few more minutes travel the view of the magical stream became apparent. Gorkall moved towards the embankment and sat his satchel and staff down on the ground and took a seat on a rock. He wiped his hands as he sat and nodded Lisi over to the stream. "Hop to it. Dun' need no soap 'round here. The streams got a great scent all on it's own. Don't worry, I won't be lookin' at yer' fanny." It was strange how Gorkall's accent changed every once in a while, Supposedly due to his technique of learning the languages outside of his own.

Lisi was surprised that she was able to follow the ogre this whole way with how little energy she had. Upon hearing the sound of the stream, she started to pick up the pace, and running to the water's edge, scooping the cool liquid into her mouth. She smiled as it slid down her throat, quenching her thirst. She took no notice of Gorkall, and started to untie the ribbon that held her corset to her torso. Once it was off, she took a deep breath, feeling the relief of the tight garment. She stood to remove her leather pants, which were dirtied and needed to be cleaned as well. She slid the sandals from her feet and slid into the crystal-like water. It was so soothing to her skin, which was speckled with snow leopard like spot all over her back, chest and thighs. She completely submerged her body, holding her breath and rubbing at all her sore muscles. Coming back up for air, she shook water from her hair. "This is absolutely intoxicating." she said, still forgetting that the orge sit just off the shore.

Gorkall kept his eyes on the tree line as Lisi undressed, least he tried too. But being a male his did note his eyes averting over to the female a few times and taking in her appearance as she dove into the stream. After all, She was his property. He would allow her a few moments of comfort though due to her some week long sentence in the prison of Gamorg. He rested his arms behind him on the cool surface of the rock as he raised his head to face the stars in the sky. Scanning for something more out there, like he always did.

Lisi let her body fall into the water until the surface touched her upper lip. She closed her eyes, letting all of the worry and fear wash away from her. She couldn't remember a time in her life where she'd been more relaxed. She'd always been nervous or scared, despite the image she put forth. She was taught that by showing fear, it showed you were weak, and that you needed to keep that fear locked away. So far, that theory had prove true. Many of the people she'd met had seen her as a hard ass, or something along those lines. She wondered if any of them had ever seen through her facade. She opened her eyes to see the green forest around her. She'd always wanted to have a home in a forest like this. Lisi smiled, let herself completely under the water again, and brought herself back up to the surface to swim to the shore line. She rolled over on the grass, looking up at the stars, the cool night air drying off her body. She sighed and smiled.

Gorkall seemed to be lost in the sky for a good few minutes before snapping back into reality. The Ogre shaking his head as he leaned forwards and rubbed his eyes with massive hands. He took a minute to find Lisi and arched a brow to see her nude on the shore line. He quickly turned his gaze away and called out in a firm voice to the woman. "You've got thirty seconds to get your cloths back on if you plan on eating tonight. Else, I'll make you watch me eat all the grub in Kelay."

Lisi was startled back into reality as the ogre spoke out to her. She jumped to her feet, grabbing at her clothes, trying to get them on as fast as she could. She turned to him just as she finished tying up the back of her corset. "I'm sorry, I got lost in...thought." She put the sandals on her feet and ran to Gorkall, wondering how she'd become so obedient all of a sudden.

Gorkall eyes over the feline. Pleased in her obedience and prompt behavior. A slight nod given as he spoke in a lower voice than usual. "Well... Er, Alright then. Le's go." The Ogre gathered his things and rose from the rock heading back towards the small city of Kelay.

PT III: Generosity?

Gorkall led Lisi through the deserted streets of Kelay. It was rare for the civilians of this small settlement to venture out after dark due to the plethora of beings that frequented this place. The duo reached their destination as Gorkall opened the door of a small homely looking restaurant and held it open for Lisi. Once they were both inside he nodded to a table to the side of them as he looked over to the waitress and held up two fingers noting their party size. Grabbing a roughed up piece of yellowed parchment he moved over to the table he directed Lisi too and laid it out before her. "Get whatever you want, and don't think kindness like this will be coming all the time. I just know that goblin brains has to be rather bland for someone of your status by now." Gorkall chuckled as he awaited Lisi to order her food. The waitress making her way over to them now, awaiting them both.

Lisi followed into the small restaurant behind Gorkall. She smiled as the sound of the place filled her rounded ears. She loved places like this. Of course, they were usually full of people. She took the seat across from the ogre and looked down at the parchment he handed her. She smiled to him, "What a pity, I'm used to men buy me things." She scanned the list as her stomach screamed at her to get everything. Lisi didn't want to look like a pig. "Just some ham will do me. I don't need anything too fancy."

Gorkall had been to this place quite a few times and already knew his order. "Bring me four bottles of your spring water, two plates of your ham, a chunk of fudge and one of your choca-choco... What the hell we're they called? Chocolate lip? One of the damn tasty circles!" Gorkall beckoned in an annoyed tone at his own ignorance. "Oh and a coffee for the house-cat." The waitress tried to hold back her laughter at Gorkall's act and wrote down the order, smiling to the couple as she nodded and insisted it would 'be out in a moment'. Gorkall nodded to her in return and looked to Lisi. "You need some caffeine. It will keep you awake long enough till you can get a good place to sleep. You may be mine now, but I don't have any room for you back at the hut. I'll allow you freedom of roam. But as soon as you get word of me searching, you'd better come runnin' else I'll find you. Got it girly?"

Lisi laughed under her breath as Gorkall tried to order everything, but her ears fell to her head as he called her a "house cat". She wondered if he said the same things to his "mate", the poor thing. Surely she wasn't his by any choice. "That's fine, I like coffee anyway." She rested her chin on her hand, thinking of where in Kelay she may go. "Why on earth would you ever search for me? I'm only a weak little kitty cat, right?"

Gorkall snickered at Lisi's words. "To crush yer' skull in. That's why." At this time the waitress returned from behind the counter with the entire order. Gorkall's eyes widened in surprise at the speed of the service as the waitress sat down the order and sorted it out amongst the duo. Once she was finished Gorkall flipped her a single silver coin and nodded to her in thanks. The waitress grinned at the tip as she retreated back to her duties. The Ogre immediately began to devour the meal, uncaring of Lisi's thoughts on him. As he shoved a piece of ham into his mouth he spoke to her with a full mouth. "What were you doing in Gamorg, that night anyway?"

Lisi smirked, "Now why would you ever want to hurt such a pretty little head?" She watched the waitress bring their order and she felt her mouth water as the food was placed in front of her, the aroma filling her nose. She cut away at the ham, taking a few bites before looking up and noticing that the ogre was already done with most of his meal. She swallowed and took the warm cup of coffee in her hands, letting the steam heat her face. "Looking for a bar to spend some time in. I stopped and asked for directions from some filthy man, and look where it got me." She gave a look of disgust, thinking that if she ever came across him again, she have his heart, and not in the good way. "Why's it matter?"

Gorkall shoved another thick piece of ham into his maw and chewed it furiously as he downed his final bottle of water in one great chug. He listened to Lisi's story and nodded slowly. The Ogre taking another chunk of meat right after swallowing the first. "It matters because you've to be one of the unluckiest people I've met to date. I haven't always been this way. In fact I've changed since I jailed you. Rough times come and go and the effects on my person by Aramoth have been quite strong recently. Had it been two weeks prior you would of found yourself drunken in love on that eve, I guarantee." Gorkall took a final bite of his meal and within two minutes of receiving his order, he was finished. He wiped his hands over the plate allowing the crumbs to fall as he released a loud belch that rattled the glasses on the table. Wiping at his mouth he nodded to Lisi and spoke to her in a somewhat kind voice. "Are you going to be alright, tonight if I take my leave? Wouldn't want my new kitty getting smashed by something that isn't me."

Lisi raised an eyebrow. "Lucky? You call the worst week of my life lucky? Well, I guess its better than death..." She looked at him as he finished eating, realizing that he did seem to be a lot more, nicer, since when they first met. The feline wondered what might have happened to him, but she didn't want to anger him, since she'd already seen that side as she recalled him dragging her out of a cave and throwing her into and even worse jail cell. She took a few more bites of her meal, finishing it off way after Gorkall had finished his. As he asked her if she'd be okay, she gave half a smile, "I suppose. I'll probably stay the night at the tavern, or around that area. And don't worry, I won't let anyone smash me." Lisi gave him a wink and took another long sip of her coffee.

Gorkall watched the feline finish her meal and took note of the wink. A slight purple blush upon the Ogre's visage that he tried to hide. He shook his head at her statement. "No, I don't suggest staying in the drunkards den. They're are more fights, murders, and drunken idiots their than anywhere else in all of Hollow. Here." Gorkall reached to his belt and unfastened a rather large bag of coin that he tossed in Lisi's direction. "Use it to get a room up in the Red Ogre Inn out in Larket. It's a nice place to rest. Use the rest for yourself. I expect to see you again, and I do trust our agreement will be upheld." Gorkalls eyes narrowed somewhat as he pushed himself to his feet and grabbed his staff tightly. He would offer one last nod to the feline before making his way to the restaurant's door and taking his leave for the evening.

Gorkall gave 1000 gold to Lisi.

Lisi finished off her coffee. She didn't catch the ogre's embarrassment, only the money that he tossed her. By the weight of it, it seemed to be a good bit of gold. This generosity was very odd, but she took it anyway. "Fine, I'll stay where you want me to, if you feel that it's best. Personally, I like the excitement of the old tavern." She pushed the small bag into her corset, where she would find it safe. "Of course I'll keep my word, you can count on that." She told him just before he got up to leave. She sat at the table for a few more moments, pondering a few things before making her own way out of the restaurant.
