RP:Al's Creation

Spring of Vitality

Zaria was sitting against a tree thinking to herself. Her stomach was quiet poking out from her shirt though still covered. She had a book beside her though now she wasn't reading it, just looking up at the stars, picking out different constellations and different things like that.

Al walks into the area, long black cloak flowing behind him with each step. He would, indeed, look exactly as Zaria remembered him but he would have no memory of her. No memory of the illusion that was his existence. He stopped beside her, head tilted skyward to watch the stars she found herself gazing towards, before opening his mouth to speak. "Zaria?" He asked, eyes still skyward, "I was told I could find you here...I have a couple questions. About this girl everyone keeps asking me about....do you know Alvina?" He plopped on the ground, crossing his legs beneath him in one smooth motion before turning his emerald optics towards her.

Zaria smiled towards the male, "How’s it going, Al?" She asked knowing that was the name she chosen from her other name. She then tilted her head not really understanding what was going on. "Yes... Alvina is you." She knew that she didn't touch anything in her mind to make this illusion so was quiet confused as to what had happened.

As suddenly as the male sat there, the illusion fell around him. A transparent skin falling fast away, peeling down to reveal Alvina. Eyes closed, and breathing in, the female bard smiled as the feeling of relief spread over her features. "I made myself believe it..." she spoke aloud to answer Zaria's unspoken question about the personality switch. "It was for the best that no one found out, I did my best to forget it myself. In the process, I got Al...A lad who didn't know me, and was in no way tied to me beyond looks." Thin limbs lean forward, her metallic arm now visible and back in it's rightful place. The sight was sad, but for a purpose, she thought. "I didn't manage to achieve my goal..." the woman said, chin resting on her folded arms, "but I would like to ask another small favor...I'd like to be able to keep Al...the illusion and mindset...and choose when to use it...at will. I know it's a strange request, but...I'm almost to the bottom of this.." Determination lacing her emerald optics, "How are you?" she added, taking notice of the child within once more.

Zaria watched as Alvina dropped the illusion from her and smiled at the woman now. "I'm sorry to hear that you have not reached your goals." She then thought for a a few moments about her next request. "Hmm... a good request but how to do it is the real question... " She thought for a few more minutes before quickly answering her other question, "Oh, it's going alright. Just waiting for the day now." She smiled then it dawned on her. "Do you have a piece of jewelry? Something that you can take on or off? Like a ring?" She though she had a very good idea of how to allow Alvina to be able to be Al when she needed to be.

Alvina smiled, nodding politely to the comment about the child's birth. "I'm sure it will be as rewarding as I hear it is...I can't believe it's been so long..." The bard flops back into the grass to look deeper into the eyes of the sky. "I do have a ring, my brother gave it to me...Do you believe that it could also alter the mindset? I can't trip up in that form...or it would be all for not." Alvina removes a ring on her pinky finger, handing it Zaria for her to look over. "Are you excited?" Alvina asked, idly. "I've always wondered what it would be like to be a mother."

Zaria smiled and nodded, "It's been a very long road for me but my baby is my hope." She then looked at the ring, "I think I can handle that..." She looked very hard at the ring, concentrating on how she was going to work the magic into the ring. "I think I can handle that, appearance and mind." She looked up to Alvina and smiled, "Yeah, I'm excited. It's a big thing though, plan for it." She smiled and nodded, "Alright I can do it." She then started working the illusion into the ring. It took time and energy but she worked it slowly to make sure she didn't miss anything. After several minutes she finished, the ring glowed white and then settled back to its original color. The ring was unarmed and she quickly passed it to her. "That should do it." She then leaned back against the tree to rest, she looked more tired than before. She smiled to the woman, "I hope that works out for you."

Alvina takes the ring carefully, a smile spreading on her lips. The ring was tucked into her pocket for the time being, digging around for something to pay the woman with. "Thank you...for going to such lengths for me..." She said.
