With the Razurath, all whom occupy the lands beyond the byrg's are to be given the order to move, or be moved. In Emilia's case the latter seems to have been more to truth.

Hilltop Ranch

Roleplay

Emilia had returned to her ranch atop of the hill in the city of Venturil after her meeting with Meri to secure help in finding rare herbs that appear to still exist thanks to recent journal findings. It was this meeting that had steered the Genasi back to the old home to dig through older journals that she had left behind here. The woman was as white as snow standing out from her surroundings standing outside the home staring at it from the yard. The white mohawk dread locks of hair were braided together and tied in a high pony atop the healer's head. The woman wore a simple spring gown flowing down to her ankles where bare feet could be seen. In one arm there was two journals and the other hang at her side. Righty, her black ice animated hand, ran like a puppy back and forth along the front porch. She chuckled to herself at the hand, “Yes the home seems rather different without the winter effects..” she whispered before staring up to the sky. Soon enough the wintery magic of the woman sprang to life all around the hilltop ranch as it began to snow. Snow in Venturil was abnormal but who would be around to witness it this far out of town?

Along the road up toward the farm residence, 17 figures walked. Like the bestial Raptors of Venturil, there were not to many differences, however the differences did make them plain different as opposed to the beasts. They stood on their hind legs much like humanoids did, and as they walked their tails moved with freely unlike those that the beasts had were they merely counterbalanced their frames. The troops which compromised 16 of the figures were all red skinned, darkly so, not bright red, and they wore tribal linens around their waists but went bare above their waists. aside from three weapons sleeves, one which was worn on their chests facing their left hips, the other at their right hip side, in each of these a blade of varying length was carried, their third which they wore on their back was empty and in their left hands as they marched orderly was a long spear made entirely shaft and head, of metal with a multidude of runes inlaid throughout it. with a small disk shape near the mid of their spears. The figure in front however was white skinned, but clothed heavily in a ranger's jerkin and long sleeves and hood, even their tail was enclosed in a sleeve of its own, and a hood covered its snout and head. Its gloved hands behind its back it walked in front of its troops only its bare raptor like feet lay exposed. The white one was likely 6' tall, while the reds behind it were easily 3' taller.

The white one eyes searched the road, having already come from another homestead having given a warning that, those who had settled were trespassing and would need to move out within a fortnight. Now sensing a chill in the air, and spying snowfall, out here in the heat of venturil, a soft clicking sensation made in its throat, and the troops dispersed forming around the outskirts of the farm, as the white one, walked up to the door, and then knocked, "If you have a minute." The white one said, without trace of bestial growls in its voice, "I would wish to speak with you concerning your property."

Emilia was not expecting any visitors, few knew that the Genasi even still came to this home. It was normally left abandoned, but yet someone was here. Finding her way to the door the Genasi stared at the one that had spoken to her. Those eyes of hers were like staring into small pools of ice. Lips blue ad death twitched to an amused smile for a moment before she spoke, “King Eboric granted me this land. Not much left to talk about it.” The words carried the chill of a winter breeze. Everything about this person was different that those that occupied the city, this one appeared to belong in Frostmaw where winter never ended, yet here she was. There was a curt nod before she moved to shut the door on the visiting creature-man.

The white one observed the woman's features. It intelligence behind its concealed eyes by the hood for which it wore, but yet, she was short enough to likely have seen under it the equally white eyes, as was its skin, Its teeth even so white. Every part of it as white snow, if not unnaturally more so. "Did he give you any legal document, or was his word good enough. Has it has been observed King Eboric, no longer reigns, nor does his steward, seem to care enough about concern himself with such affairs." It didn't press on the door, if she shut it, There were rules of tradition to follow, before forced entry.

Emilia before the door was shut glared through the crack at the ever white creature-man. The Genasi barely reached five feet in height adding the locks of hair into that determination, she was short and sickly thin. “The papers should be somewhere but who knows where that could be anymore,” was the last of her dismissive words to the man before the light click of the door shutting in his face. A grumpy grumble left blue lips as she crossed inside the home from the door toward the kitchen. It was no better time than now to have a glass of wine. An strange man at her door questioning her rights to her home that she built. Another grumpy scowl as Em began searching the cupboards for a strong drink.

The white, was starting to get used to people shutting the door in his face. He didn't even blink. Or inhale or respond. The mixture of curling and clicks emerged from its throat. #*Translation: Kinsula is powerful, possessing possibly weak to extreme heat, use staffeer on runes r and x, do not allow take any risks.*#. The white moved behind the wall alongside form the door, as the Red troops moved in, holding their spears and using the spinner to cycle to appropriate rune. R to dampen magic abilities, and x for incinerating stun. As the massive Razurath moved in toward the house, they kept in sight of cover should the presumed magical being would attempt to defend herself, or attack from range. Movment was quiet, but not undetectable.

Emilia watched from the small window that allowed her to overlook the yard her kids once played in. Now odd red men were moving closer to the house. The annoyance mixed with anger of the Genasi caused a leak of elemental magic from the woman. The falling snow in the yard had turned from snow into a mix of hail and slush, mostly slush. The use of the rune to dilute the magic turned what would have been a full shower of hail into a pouring of slushy snow down upon them. Whatever she was she was not the normal magic user and her magic deeply rooted into her being was affected by their rune, but it did not fully manage to block it.

The white, watching has the snow took on the form of slush, idly unconcernedly flicked his wrists with a heavy blade. Unconcerned, as the change had occurred. As the troops continued to move forward, their runes would combine in unison and power, creating a more amplified version of the rune as their spears moved into closer proximity of the house. The cold water against many of the reds skins, and yet these giants seemed unfazed by the cold water. The white clicked in its throat, Translation#* Draw your Skithyr, use insert into the shafts of your spears and double the power of your runes.*# The movement, increasing slower but steady as the tails withdrew from their sheaths a metallic blades which they slid into their shafts of their spears. The Spears now began to glow brighter as the runes became doubly charged, and as they drew closer around the house, the spears would glow brighter as their power began to overlap and amplify.

Emilia could not place a mental though into her head to explain what was happening at this moment nor could she describe the feeling it was having on her. Outside hail turned to slush and slush turned into rain the closer the men with their spears got to the house. Eventually the entire falling of any form of precipitation ceased all together. Now the Genasi was not only confused and annoyed at this large group of strangers but she was flustered and angry that the element of her being would not respond to her. Mad enough the Genasi flung open the front door with a great slam as it hit the outside wall. Her tone was raised, the anger was evident, “What in the bloody hell do you want?”

The white who had been standing on the side where the door did not open into its face, stepped out and with quick move used the heavy object in its hand inlaid with a rune, *paralyze* and aimed to strike at the woman's shoulder. Not hard blow, as it was not needed. if she did fall from it he would stand over her, and say. "For one we wanted to test you and see if you were an honorable citizen, secondly we wanted to inform you that we have blockaded the pass to the east, thirdly which we might of overlooked had you been less forthcoming about your nature, we need mages, and magic users, and you'll do just nicely."

Emilia was not expecting the hit to come as she exited her home. The hit came with a sound like metal being hit, something off about the woman's structure beneath that flesh. The woman wobbled a moment before sliding down onto the porch floor. Staring up at the White the Genasi rolled her eyes with a clear grumble of some mixture of emotions. “You have terrible ways in which you address the citizens of this city. Most send letters and civil meetings before trying to evict them. And your use for a magic user means little to me. I am not aiding you.” You :: The white looked down at her and pulled of her hood. Yes her, the features were definitely feminine. Compared to the sharper angles of the reds. "Your ability to choose not to aid us, is irrelevant," Reaching into her pockets of her leather jerkin, she removed an object which while small and ball shaped, the way she held it indicated it was very heavy for its size. " Cathabraka is so useful in keeping strong magic users unable to use magic, much less any magic users. What will you be without yours for a while?" The white said pressing the ball into the woman lips and putting the hand over to try to force the swallow.

Emilia held the object in her mouth, attempting to keep from swallowing for as long as the Genasi could. It was when she ran out of air in her lungs when she needed to breath again that she swallowed the strange ball. As she swallowed the icy woman made made a choking and gagging sound. Spatting at the white female over her the Genasi let out a growl, “Die! I will be dead without it. Now get it out or as soon as my arms are working again I will cut it out myself.” Em growled at it.

The white looked down at her, neither with pity or remorse. But with an intelligence that bordered on the unnatural she said, "Well then, be on your best behavior, and we may yet cut it out, after we get you to the harvester. From there on, you'll be much to tired at the end of the day to resist. Surely being without magic for three days is not going instantly kill you, otherwise we wouldn't having this conversation, now would we." Click accouring in her throat, and then two reds grabbed the paralyzed woman. Hoisting her up on to one of their backs. Turning to one of the reds she said, "Watch the farm, until the browns arrive, we wouldn't want the farm to go be pillaged or surrender to the overgrowth, afterall when the west is hours, and those whom." She said taking a breath and looking at the lessy icy woman, "Those of whom, are more at peace with the way things will be, we want them to have a well kept nest to return to. "Loyalty, honor, and Integrity, for the Glory of Rathul, and for Rathal." The chorus repeating between the reds. "Loyalty, honor, and Integrity, For the Glory of Rathul, and for Rathal."

Emilia grunted as she was hoisted up onto the red's back. There was no fight, the Genasi was paralyzed still. There was a low growling from the woman, “Harvester? What is the sven are you talking about? I am not some monster to experiment on. You have no idea the people that will be coming for me if I go missing.”

The white chose to walk ahead but not before saying to the paralyzed woman. "If you means a group like the warrior's guild? Well then, time to enlighten you, a Razurath will never let you beat them the same way twice, we are rather quick at learning, and we don't forget humiliation or defeats." And with that she would march ahead moving the troop onward to the next house passing another squad of 16 reds being escorted by an additional white. Clearly they were not a small party, there was much larger force at work in these lands, and would be likely for some time.
