RP:A Quiet Night

From HollowWiki

Background

Michiko explores, a bit, between Northern Sage and Kelay to see what is around. Unfortunately finding nothing of much interest.

A Quiet Night of Exploring

Michiko prowled through the Sage forest quietly, her sinewy body flexing fluidly with every step as she moved through the brush. It felt good to be wandering freely again, without family there every step of the way. Her white fur glistened gently in the slight moonlight that filtered through the branches. It appeared as though she were tracking something down, and she was. She saw a doe lope by earlier and she thought that she was on its trail, however she was losing concentration on what she was doing. She often times thought like a child, despite her age, and found herself flopping to the ground and rolling out in a feline stretch. ~I've been hunting all week... I suppose I deserve a rest..~ She thought to herself, releasing a languid yawn and allowing her fangs to glint in the moonlight, before lying her head down.

Michiko stretches languidly, a light popping noise from her joints made a she does so. She hunted when she was bored, but what could Michiko do when she bored of hunting? She could return to her family, but all they let her do there was cook, and continue learning things about the family. They never even let her read anything new, though she had a journal she could write in. It was too bad her cousin was busy today, or she'd go and spend time with him. She also wasn't allowed to speak to anyone out of her family... Not that she obeyed her grandfather's laws anyway. Staring up at the branches, the young Púca lay in thought. Finally, however, she finally decided upon what she had been wondering upon doing for some time now. She would head to the town, Kelay, and see what it was like. With another yawn, she rose and stretched, soon shrinking. The light sound of bones crunching and muscles rearranging would be heard. Her spotted white fur grew out and her long tail shrank. Finally, after a short time, her form that she had taken was now that of a small and puffy white fox. She shook out her fur and then darted off to the south of the forest to go see what Kelay was like. She had never done so, but what could hurt in doing so?

Michiko scampers into Kelay, staying to the shadows and watching people as they pass to and fro. Some saw her, though they only quirked their brow at the little white fox. At one point, a small child even tries to pick her up, though she skittered away before it could. She saw all different races, naming them off in her head as they passed by. She had never seen any different race, aside from ones in her lessons. Her red eyes saw many things, though she thought the tavern looked most interesting. Mostly because of the people there. Though she doubted there'd be anyone of interest within its walls. Perhaps if she came back another day she would find someone. It was getting late, if she didn't get back to the mountains she was certain her family would find out that she was sneaking off. But it quite intrigued her to be here. Maybe just a peek inside the tavern, and then she would head home.

Haeli steps into the establishment, blinking. More particularly, she's blinking at a certain someone.

Michiko zips in through the door as a stranger opens it, the shape shifting elf being in the form of a white fox as she does so. Quickly she'd scampered about until she ran and hid beneath a table, wishing to observe how things were outside of the area of her family's encampment in the mountains. The woman is between 400 and 600 years of age, yet she had seen very little of life. So, one could imagine the expression upon her little white fox face as she looked about. The albino shape shifter looking about at everything.

Magik strikes an epic pose just for Haeli!!

Haeli grins slyly at the male and approaches him with the intent of delivering a prod to his side and a friendly peck on the cheek. "Heya."

Magik grins slyly, doing nothing to defend against the poke and accepting the small kiss, "And how are you?"

Michiko looked about from her hiding spot beneath the empty table. The woman in fox form releasing a sigh from her whitish pink colored nose, before lying down and placing her puffy head upon her small paws. Her red eyes slid to the fireplace, the object keeping the tavern heated. Michiko was never fond of warmth, but she could deal with this fire; it was not so bad. The albino shapeshifter didn't know of Kelay's infamous past of sometimes being a dangerous place, though, and thusly decided to close her eyes and rest for a while.

Haeli lifts a shoulder. "Alright. I'mma go explorin' with a friend soon. What about you?"

Magik shrugs, "Dunno. Been very busy lately. I may just sit in the tavern like usual and relax." The vampire offers a toothy grin and nod.

Haeli slides into a chair near the male then, hmming softly. "Away on business?"

Magik sits on the table top before them, swinging his feet back and forth, "Of course. Gotta do what you gotta do!"

Haeli falls silent then, unsure what else to ask about.

Michiko yawns and stretches, from her hiding spot, soon standing afterwards. With quick scampering steps, she darts off to the door and waits for a moment for someone to open the door before trying to skitter outside without her tail being stuck in the door. Once Michi could get herself outside again, the white puffball would likely be back off to the mountain range to find her family's camp and stay there for the night.
