RP:A Drow And A Witch Walk Into A Bar...

From HollowWiki

Summary: Thalra is new to the lands, as well as new to being above ground, as she is a drow. She happens upon the Lazy Eel Lounge and seeks employment, however, she is denied, and as she's conversing with the barkeep, in walks Lanara. The beautiful witch is there to pick up salary which was overdue from years ago, and though she is wary of the pretty drow, the two form a union to remove the riffraff from the establishment and share a drink. After a bit of sharing about their pasts, Lana offers to help Thalra find a job, and recommends an animal companion from her sanctuary. In turn, Thalra offers to teach Lanara how to brew a shrinking poison, and gives up one of the six ingredients. They plan on meeting again, the following day, as they begin the budding of a new friendship.

Thalra found herself again standing at the bar of the Lazy Eel Lounge. Gildroz who stood at the bar was kneading his hands together still thinking about as whether or not to hire a Drow on as a waitress, as it was a big risk to the investment of the Lounge, for which he bought from its previous owner and founder. The lounge had a reputation for hosting an audience generally of less accepted races of city and lands outside, and yet some lines were still present. Thalra wore a simple brown tank top with a moderated U neck which exposed a tad of generous bosom, and exposed only the mid section of her midriff. She wore some short purple shorts and at some brown leather boots each with a sock that reached just below the knee cap. Her form was slender as most drow were reported to have, athletic, and alluring, certainly a head turner, but most certainly not in the way of perfect, her long white hair she wore in a pony tail, which reached down past her shoulders, the hair pulled back from her face, and her red eyes which despite their piercing gaze seemed to lack much of the sadistic glare that the drow were so well known for, she stood straight her hands crossed at the bar as she waited. It was prior to happy hour yet still some customers were present. A group of anthromorphic eels here, and pair of mermaids in the pool, six razurath at a table of variety of colors, and of course the exhausted draconian dancer who sat in a chair on stage nursing a a dry cocktail. Thalra found it interesting how unique this little set up was, here were races and people that weren’t normally welcome in other parts of the land, and its communities, and yet this two story establishment would occasionally be filled to breaking point in customers, and it afforded such a beautiful view of the sea, but perhaps what she liked best was the seafood dishes that were served fresh from the fish market just outside the entrance. Sure there were some seedy elements, like the two bouncers one a centaur the other a minotaur discussing side jobs that Gildroz wanted done, but more importantly was the bond these variety of races shared. As Gildroz had explained, who of course was a towering striped feline, that much of the poorer community of Cenril lived south of the lounge, many of who had made slum like houses in the sewers and side alley ways, but one thing this side of town had was that if you lived here, regardless of what you were, you were protected by its community, each race had your back, and she liked that. But it seemed even here, there were cautions about accepting Drow. How could Thalra blame them really, her people took pleasure, and sadistic pleasure in outdoing each other in monstrous behavior, regardless this though she had come here because this was the first place she had gone without every customer becoming hostile, instead they had glanced at her only twice, and then continued with their conversations, drinks, and food. “So, what position were you desiring,” Gildroz asked.

Lanara slips into the Lounge, her chocolate hues taking in the new plush sofas that had replaced the older ones, and she admires a few of the newly placed decorations. Business was booming, and she was pleased, as she had helped this place to get off the ground when they had first been established. The elf is wearing a little black dress, which accentuates her curves, and high heels, though she’s not here to dance, or pick up a guy, she’s here to pick up a long overdue paycheck. The clicking of her heels is heard over the loud music as she approaches the bar, and gives Thalra a sidelong glance, her dark hues sparkling in amusement. The place had allowed colorful clientele as well, it seemed, now. Back in the day, it was Lanara as the main attraction, and Sugar and Spice as her backup dancers. She had taught the twins the ropes, and they in turn had taught the others, and the name was changed to be more fitting to those that frequented. Which happened to be mostly reptilian folk, or those that dealt in seedy affairs, such as running backyard brothels, drug rings, dog fighting, and that sort of thing. Those reasons were exactly why Lana quit being an exotic dancer, learned to respect her body rather than offer it up for gold, and she had taken a position as a ballet instructor at the university in Schezerade. Tucking her pin-straight chestnut locks behind her tapered ears, Lana greets Gildroz with a warm smile and the man pulls her in for a tight hug. “Cinnamon! Long time no see! I have the gold you were promised. And… You want a job? It’s yours! You have to be the hottest elf I’ve ever seen!” The barkeep blushes and Lana accepts the cloth bag of coins and fights not to roll her eyes at the males exaggeration of her looks, “Thanks, but I’m doing well. I run an animal sanctuary right now… Not exactly looking for work. How are things here?” She’s in a hurry to get out of here, and she glances at the door, waiting for the small talk to cease, but trying her best to be polite. The pretty drow is to her left, and she feels those crimson eyes taking her in, so she fixes her with a blank stare, appraising the stranger. Lana doesn’t smile, nor does she grimace, she merely studies the stranger. The witch didn’t have the best past regarding the drow, though she was making efforts in masking her racism as Gildroz drones on and on about how Lana should quit the ‘zoo’ job and come back and dance.

Thalra paused listening to Gildroz go on and on, she took a sip of her bourbon she had paid for when she walked in, and now with this elf here, she found herself being stared at as well. “Gildroz, I can accept the fact you can’t have me here.” Gildroz nodded, “Yes you see Drow are not wanted by anyone, mostly everyone here can attest to that.” Thalra nodded, “We Drow deserve all the hate, we are without a doubt a very evil people, who definitely need to get what's coming to them, and that awfully soon.” As she was speaking several guards now off duty entered the lounge. Immediately Gildroz, grumbled, “Oh No not again.” The blonde haired one clearly the leader, laughed and made a comment, “Lookie here boys its seem the Lounge bought us a couple pieces of candy,” he said pointing to Lana and one of the servers. The other customers looked nervous, in recent times these men came in off duty and yet did whatever they wanted and got away with it here, because they could suddenly shift to guard duty mode and arrest those who stopped them, and now immediately they were picking on some of the girls, one of them the leader ogling Lana. “Phew, now that’s real stock here boys,” Gildroz growled these guards and their belief in human superiority, he hated it. But he couldn’t do anything without being jailed, losing his business, or worse his head. “What will it be gents?” He said repeating what he always did when they came in. The Brown Haired one said, “Some more of that, on the house alcohol, you know the whatever we want stuff.” The Guard said reaching for a handful of bottles. Before pulling a server girl down on his lap.

Lanara is passed a glass of ale, which she didn’t order or pay for, and she doesn’t touch the beverage. She had told Gildroz that she had to be on her way, and she had long ago put this establishment to the farthest depths of her mind, so lingering was bringing back memories she didn’t wish to relive. Still, this man had taken her in when she had nothing, not even her magic, and she had hit rock bottom. Dancing became her escape, and she was damn good at it, good enough in fact to teach a team of other exotic dancers. But being pawed by men like the fellows that just entered the bar became a hassle, and after breaking one too many noses and tossing expensive ales in the faces of others, Lana had move onto private parties and gave lessons behind the scenes. Now that she was back in the very room where it all had began, and Gildroz was calling her by her stage name, the woman is all about to make her exit, when one of the dark haired men approaches and pulls a young serving girl onto his lap. The girl winces as she’s squeezed around the middle, and Lana wants to intervene, but then she hears one of the men refer to her as ‘stock’ and she turns on her heel and scowls. Upon seeing more than that legendary derriere, the blonde fans his face, as though the room had become ten degrees hotter, and he dares to approach the elf. Lana exchanges a look with Thalra and considers the drow for a moment, all the while allowing the blonde to approach her at the bar. The woman was overheard telling Gildroz that she wasn’t a fan of her own kind, that drow should be punished, and that all she really wanted was a job. A fresh start? Could this drow be looking for some sort of redemption? Perhaps they weren’t –all- that bad. Being with Larz had given Lana a new outlook on life, and she tilts her head, her lips curving into a silken smile, “So… You help me get rid of this riffraff and I’ll get you a job… What do you say? I’ll take the blonde, and you handle the one with the serving girl? A little teamwork. Show me what you got… I know the owner of the Dancing Destrier and I could convince Gildroz over here to give you a job, if you’d rather it be here… Perhaps we can help each other?” She waits, to see if the woman would accept the offer, as the blonde arrives and slips his grubby hands around Lana’s slender waist, his lips seeking purchase on her neck, though she leans back and shakes her head. “Not so fast, handsome… Buy me a drink, first. Okay?” Those chocolate hues captivate the male, and he pinches her on the arse as he calls forth an order of the ‘finest’ ale for the ‘finest’ lady in the lounge. Meanwhile, Lana casts a sidelong glance to see if Thalra wanted to partner up, otherwise it would be a one woman show.

Thalra glanced at the elf, who has lent a smile to her, "Yes, I will help," she mouths to the elf, Turning her red eyes, over to the one with the serving girl a red haired man at that, she bows slightly and taps him on the shoulder, "Excuse me, why settle for a mere human when you could have a drow sit there?" The man looked at her and then back the serving girl who was trying to inch away from the male. "I am sure, that any male who can tame a drow to be on his lap must be worthy of a promotion." Her voice entering the deep seductive as she tugged at her tank top to further her ends. The man eyes widened and immediately pushed the other girl away, he moved his arm away as Thalra took a seat on the man's lap, she laughed that seductive laugh, as she leaned in to administer a kiss, but drawing from her pocket she drew out a vial with a needle, as she planted the kiss she stuck the man in his jugular with needle and applying the syringe, she pulled away as the man convulsed, his form collapsing in on itself, like a deflating balloon. In less than a few seconds the man, clothing which lay on the chair soon had the male trying to get out from under the clothes, no more than an inch tall. "My my, you’re a different size." She smiled and turned to the other men who backed away, but the less human customers were chuckling, one of them a large lycan, lifted a glass to Thalra and Lana, "I'll drink to a victory in our narrows," The wolf drank his drink as other customers drank back theirs. Three red razurath males stood up, "pardon me ladies, we'll escort this riffraff to the docks." They smiled, as Gildroz returned a smile to both of the girls, as the razurath pushed the remaining human males out, if the man Lana struck was still able to walk and breathe he would be escorted out as well, but if not, Gildroz would either move him or say to the mermaids in the bar area, "We got a special on fresh meat." To which the mermaids would cheer. Thalra would glance at the Elf. "Love your work."

Lanara presses her back against the bar and plucks a cherry from the offered bowl atop the counter, her hypnotic hues centering on the approaching male. He was handsome, in a rugged sort of way, though she knew he was sleazy from the way he eyed the mermaids like they were some piece of pie, and she also knew him to be the ‘leader’ of this band of thugs. They were notorious for pushing illegal substances from Rynvale into Cenril, and that didn’t bode well with the little elf. Having dated a city guard, and having lost him at the hands of an evil doer, she had somewhat of a vendetta for those that broke the law, and being one that only practiced white magic… Well, she’d have to resort to a little hand-to-hand combat and call it a day. From her line of vision she can see Thalra leaning in for a kiss with the male, and she smirks, knowing the drow and her would wipe the floor with these ill-mannered brutes. Who did they think they were?! They came in here, nearly every day, to damage the establishment, grope the women that worked there, and sell drugs. They weren’t exactly upper class citizens! The cherry is chewed and Lana parts her lush lips to pull the stem into her mouth, expertly tying it in a knot, as the male is lured in by her smoldering gaze, and as his palm presses against her side and he pins her against the bar, she spits the stem at his face and snorts. “Next time you want to impress a lady… Try buying her a drink, having a nice conversation, and ASKING before you lay your dirty mitts on her…” The words are said in a friendly enough tone, but the look in Lana’s eyes had shifted from alluring to territorial, and the male tightens his grip on her and leans in, “I like em feisty! Come here you little tease!” The elf is forced into his arms, and she lifts the bowl of chairs and smashes it into the side of his head, knocking him out in one clean sweep, as she knees him in the groin, before he collapses on the floor. “No more touching without permission. No more stealing drinks and food and dealing drugs. And no more lame pick up lines!” She hadn’t even broken out in a sweat, and was ready to battle the rest of them, though they collected their miniature version of their friend, and the unconscious male at Lana’s heels, without a further word. They had been bested by a pretty drow, and a tiny witch. If they dared to show their faces in Cenril after this, it would be a miracle! Thalra returns and issues a compliment, to which Lana laughs and shakes her head, scrunching her nose in distaste as she motions towards the door, “I just hate punks! Who do they think they are?!” Throwing back the rest of her drink, she extends a dainty hand, “Nice moves yourself. I’m Lanara… It was nice working with you. So tell me, what sort of career skills do you have?”

Thalra perks a smile as the other customers are removing the "trash" from the building. "Lanara, I have to say you have some tremendous wit for witty statements." She smiled extending her hand to grasp the elf's. "And a mean cherry bowl bash." She smiles extending a bit further. Perhaps that’s what set the drow apart, her smile, it wasn't just genuine somehow it left one feeling like there was joy to go around and to keep smiling. "I’m Thalra. A pleasure, to work with an elf once more." She paused, as Gildroz butted in. "Well ladies you certainly know how to take out the trash, as do our Narrow Pack members do as well." Ah yes the narrows, that was the name of the alley way which fed into a small valley within Cenril noted for tall slum like structures that were hidden by the city skyline due to the valley it flowed into. The narrows were among the most poorest parts of Cenril, noted for its very high, non elf, non human, and non dragon populations, if you wanted protection in the narrows you had to be from the narrows, or you had to make friends within the lounge, as the Narrow's only looked out for the Narrows. Sure it might have been one of the most crime infested neighborhoods, but any member of narrows would tell you, "Born in the Narrows and the Narrows fights for you." Maybe that separated the Narrows from other parts of Cenril, there was no racism in the narrows, just acceptance for those who were born into it, and mistrust for those who were not. Gildroz smiled, "All drinks on the house for the next hour. Thanks two these two ladies remembering the code." Thalra smiled, "I don't know the code, I am not from here." She said in Lanara's direction, "Well my resume might be a bit useless here so I would say I start small, I am well practiced potion maker, and a former assassin, yes I am aware that off putting but I haven't done a single job in almost a hundred years, I don't plan on returning to that profession, I wish I could say I am good with animals, but instincts go deep and animals, well I don't blame them for hating drow, I would say my best skills, are in custom service." She said as Gildrox refilled her bourbon, to which she drank back.

Lanara is fumbling in her purse to produce a handful of coins to replace the dented serving bowl and to pay her tab when Gildroz informs the pair that drinks are on the house for the next hour. Grateful, the witch smiles and orders herself a fine wine, with hints of black cherry for added flavor. She lowers her hand after shaking Thalra’s, and quirks a brow at the compliments, her cheeks flushing a faint pink hue. She was often bombarded with favorable statements, though it rarely came from the same gender, “You had some amazing moves there yourself. I must know what’s in that poison to make him shrink down in size.” As their drinks are settled onto the counter, Lana takes a dainty sip and considers a career choice, going on the little bit that is offered from the drow, and her eyes widen slightly. “What about a career as a security guard? Seeing as you have an assassin-type background and you are more than capable of defending yourself… Maybe you could join a clan? I’ve heard there’s one that meets… The Steel Collective? Maybe you could be a potion master or something like that… Or an alchemy shop? There is one, not too far from here, over in Vailkrin, I’m sure they could help direct you. And I do have a contact that works at the apothecary in Enchantment, if you’d consider working there… I know that you were hoping to be a bartender, but… You’d be dealing with riffraff every few hours, and unless it’s a busy night, the pay isn’t all that great.” A gentle shrug is given as she’s not sure if her advice helped Thalra or not, as Gildroz wanders over and starts talking about the ‘narrows’ and the lycan clan and brotherhood. Lanara isn’t all too familiar with what he’s discussing with the drow, so she quietly sips her wine and gives a faint nod here and there, to show that she’s paying attention.

Thalra wasn't completely aware of the history of the narrows, and while she listened she was more eager, in wanting to talk with the elf. When she had a moment to speak she offered that they move from the bar to a table. One preferably away from the bar. When they were able to sit in the back area. "I thought about a security guard, and while I have skills with a bow and dagger, I think i would consider joining a clan if only to serve as someone who doesn't do the fighting, but as you say, Potions oldest hobby I have even back when I was growing up in the Underdark, as for that secret ingredient, well, tell you what, we see each other more often, and I will show you how to do it in person," She smiled, drinking her bourbon. "Well an alchemy lab sounds fun, but not in the city of dead, I have spent half my life so far in darkness, I would hope to enjoy living in the light just a little bit more." She softly smiled, "I doubt I would fit into a healers area of expertise, but, being a councilor, well we had one, before I came here when I lived above ground with my human husband, I wonder if this land is in need of one." She paused, "What do you do? Are you looking for another worker?"

Lanara was in a hurry to leave the bar when she had just arrived, yet as the conversation with the drow continues, she finds herself obliging to stay for another drink. After all, it was on the house, and she wouldn’t turn down a chat with one that had helped her to remove the riffraff. Lowering herself across from Thalra at the table, she crosses her legs, and listens intently to the drow explain why she wouldn’t be goof as an alchemist, a healer, or as an assassin. Lana grins, enjoying that the woman was so eager to maintain a friendship, as well as a life amongst the sunshine, and she can’t help but feel that this drow was unlike any she had ever encountered before! Nor was she the murderous clan that had invaded her homeland, possessed her sister, and slaughtered their mother. Thalra couldn’t be blamed for merely having dark skin, white hair, and crimson eyes, right? Although she was –always- skeptical of everyone, those that knew the elf closely knew that she disliked the drow for personal reasons, that she was terrified of nagas for their likeness to snakes, and that she mistrusted dwarves, merely for their stunted growth. However, Lana had matured a lot in the past two years and she clears her throat, surprising herself by extending an offer of friendship, along with some advice. “So… That’s a negative to being an apothecary in Enchantment. And the clan aspect doesn’t suit you, either. Nor does being an alchemist in Vailkrin… Hm…” Drumming her fingers on the tabletop, Lana arches a brow when Thalra turns the conversation onto her, and she smiles. “I own an animal sanctuary in Sage Forest. It takes up a ton of my time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I rescue wounded animals and patch them up and release them back into the wild. Or, we take in owner surrenders and try to find them suitable homes. You aren’t the best with animals; otherwise I could take on another helping hand… However, I used to work at the university in Schezerade. I’m also a dance instructor, but now I only offer private lessons in my travels… What if you were a teacher? Or perhaps a guidance counselor, there? I could put in a good word with the leader of the Bard’s Guild… Alvina. I’m sure she’d grant you an interview, she’s a sweetheart, and the school could really use someone that can help the students with peer pressure, dating, partying, that sort of thing…” Lana pauses, taking a sip of her wine, “Or… There’s an orphanage in Gualon. They have kids that range from newborns up to their late teens. Maybe apply to be a counselor, there? I also have an ‘in’ at that place…” Her dark eyes seem sad for a moment, as she recalls her time spent working there with Larz, though she’s quick to resume her poker face.

Thalra smiles, at the mention of the college and maybe the need of a guidance counselor, "I would really appreciate that, though I have to say I love kids, I had three half human kids before I came here, just like their father, full of sense of duty and honor, I am so proud of them." Her smile saddens though, "Of course, having to bury one of them, is something no parent should have to go through, or outliving your husband." Her red eyes close a small tear shedding from her eyes, Before she reopened them. She sniffed and tried to smile again, "Working with children again, both positions sound utterly delightful, I could do either, and I think enjoy both." She paused, when there was a lull in the conversation, and asked, "Does your animal sanctuary carry any Hyunina, or Kelimathi, or at least some Stelhuk Vipers, I miss having those pets from my home with my husband."

Lanara finds herself hanging on every word that leaves Thalra’s lips, and she nods sympathetically as the drow mentions the loss of a child and husband. Her gaze lowers, as she affords her a moment of privacy while she blinks back a tear, and Lana kept help but feel empathy for this woman. Perhaps that was why she left the Underdark and ventured above ground to begin her life anew? There was nothing wrong with looking forward and the elf was also working on her own new beginnings after the loss of Larz and the disappearance of her sister. Hollow was a land of hardships and heartaches, though there was a multitude of good that one experienced, too, and that’s what keeps her going day after day. “I’m so sorry for your losses, Thalra… I’ve experienced similar tragedies over the years, and there’s nothing I can offer that will ease your pain. However, that pang in your heart does lessen in time, and all you can do is honor their memory, and live your own life to the fullest… Do you prefer living amongst the Avians, or the orcs? Schezerade is a very ritzy area, above the clouds… And Gualon is mostly a swamp sort of living, though it’s near enough to Cenril and Kelay, which are prettier towns. Let me know, and I will set up an interview for you. Don’t feel pressured to decide right now, you can always come find me or write me a letter, I’m only in Northern Sage Forest.” She smiles, her gaze returning to the woman’s face, as thoughts of her sanctuary often bring a smile to her fair face. However, the mention of housing snakes in her place causes her to scrunch her nose and shake her head, “Nope! Not a single serpent in my shelter… I’m terrified of snakes, truth be told…” A pause, “I do have a few turtles, and the occasional lizard, though. Or maybe you’d like to adopt a different pet?”

Thalra had to think, "Well that depends, orcs and avians might be very different from where I came from," she paused thinking about the description of the cities, "Well, I might have to give some thought, so it looks like I might be sending you a letter."She smiled at that. "Not a serpent fan, well, its fine, I am not a fan of horses, actually to think about where I came from, we only saw horses in zoo's there was no wild horse, in our lands, we used, Glbathrac, I guess similar to lizard, bit of wingless dragon in their as well, and behaved like a loyal pup, you could never get their saliva out of your clothes though." she chuckled, "Of course when a creature has a mouth and a tail that can act like a mouth, those things are notorious for their appetites." She paused, wondering what the elf was thinking. Placing her hands on the table, she said, "Perhaps I should stop by some time, and see, unless of course you do carry dragons?" She perked an eyebrow.

Lanara finishes her drink, her brown eyes widening as Thalra tells her about the slobbering lizard from her homeland. The witch was always fascinated with hearing tales from other lands, and as the drow relays the lack of horses, the wingless dragons, and the saliva mishap, she inches forward on her chair. “Wow, that’s so bizarre! Where I hail from? It was an elven-only kingdom, very far from these lands… We had all sorts of animals in the forest, and some I believed to be of myth, however, upon coming here, my knowledge has greatly expanded! I think the most different thing for me was all the races… I’ve heard of humans and drow, of course, and even met quite a few back in my homeland and the surrounding areas… But I’ve never come across an avian, a lycan, or a vampire… Things I believed to be fantastical beings that my mother told my sister and I at bedtime.” A gentle shrug of her shoulders, as she grins, “Imagine my surprise when I came here four years ago and learned that they were more than made up stories! So… I totally relate to you being bewildered by the different beasts that roam around here, as am I.” There’s a pause in the conversation as Lana thinks back to the dozens of animals that are currently at the sanctuary, and when asked about dragons, she purses her lips. “Yes… We do happen to have a few frost drakes… They are only hatchlings though, not quite capable of being a proper mount at this age. But if you wish to form a bond with one, and for it to be properly trained, it’s a good age to adopt a drake. I have three. Two males and a female… You should come on by… Maybe tomorrow, if that works for you?”

Thalra chuckles listening to Lanara's story, "How about that the two of us both being from lands that lack certain things we find here." she chuckled, her laugh was hearty and it might have felt genuine, it didn't sound evil just sounded like a little girl laughing at a joke. "Yeah I haven't any Draconian's yet though, I wonder if they are any different than the ones back home." She listened about having a few dragons available. "I would love to come by, you say its northern sage forest?" Thalra asked. "Yes tomorrow is perfect, I have nothing else holding me back." She leans forward though asking her to lean forward, so she can whisper into her ear, "One of six secret ingredients you need for a shrinking potion is Lofri Mushrooms, I think I heard a couple of merchants talking about it growing in Gualon. I will tell you more when we meet again."

Lanara finds herself giggling right along with the woman, and though she was a drow and Lana had a horrid past involving the race… Her smile was genuine and the two looked as though they had clicked. It was the budding of a beautiful friendship, for sure! The elf scribbles some directions onto a cloth napkin, drawing a large square which would represent the tavern in Kelay, and then scribbling some lines and drawing markers along the way to Northern Sage Forest, which would finally end at her animal sanctuary. Thalra was new to the lands, new to being aboveground, and she didn’t want the drow to get lost. Hopefully, the makeshift map would send her in the right direction. “Perfect! I’ll see you tomorrow. Fair warning, they will remove any weapons at the gate, it’s mostly for the protection of the animals. Also, if the caretaker gives you any trouble, just ignore her, mostly everyone does.” A grin, as she not-so-fondly speaks of Venin, the disgruntled human that oversees things when Lana isn’t around. She held a tough exterior but she was so incredible with the animals that Lana didn’t have the heart to hire a replacement. As Thalra leans in and lowers her voice, Lana also inches forward, her tapered ears taking in this new knowledge, which she commits to memory. “Thank you, I won’t forget!” The shrinking potion could come in handy, and who would have guessed that she would have exchanged employment and a pet for some tricks of a drow? Rising from her chair, she drops a few silver on the table for the waitress, and she locks eyes with Thalra, “It was a pleasure meeting you and exchanging information… I look forward to our meeting tomorrow.” The brunette exits as quickly as she had entered, and she gives a parting wave to Gildroz on her way out.
