Player Proposed Premium Ideas

Increased premiums have the great possibility to increase revenue to the game. Here is a forum for players to post Premium Game ideas, and voice their support for other's ideas.

Alt Character Premium

Idea: Pay either a flat yearly rate, or monthly fee for the right to have a character alt.
Proposed rules: The alt would not be able to log in at the same time as your main character.
You would not be able to transfer items or gold between the characters.

Question by Zedreth: After this premium is in effect does the right to give 1000 words for an alt disappear?

Obviously those kind of details would be up to the admin, but I would assume, much like custom items, they can be give without cost if it is determined that the addition of the RP and related item is a general benefit to the game. Though such items generally only last the duration of the RP and are +0 in nature. It could be the same way with Alts, the characters not paid for would only last the duration of the RP they were approved for, and would not be allowed to stat train.

Stat Max Increase Premium

Idea: Pay a monthly fee to allow STR, DEX, INT, WIS, CHA, and SPD stats to advance beyond the limit of 75 while training.
Proposed rules: The stats gained while paying for this premium would be permanent, but you could only gain stats while the premium was paid.
Not a good idea, as someone could pay for this for one month, stat like crazy, and then have humongous stats and never pay again. No way to control this, and no real reason to do this. IMO. --Vuryal 15:25, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
My original reasoning for this thought is that it seems a bit nonsensical that someone with 100 HP would cure for the same 76 HP as someone who's been training for years and has 20,000 HP. Or someone who has 1000 HP hits for the same 100 HP or so as a player with 10,000 HP. With continued stat growth, would come continued competition as well, which would ensure continuation of the premium. Though there would always be the option of making the stats only remain while the premium is paid, though if that were the case the cost would have to be lower to be a viable option. The 75 stat limits were put in place when having over 500 HP was nearly unheard of, and it took considerable time to reach that level, that is no longer the case. I think it would be reasonable for the 'rate' of growth to slow after the initial 75, so someone couldn't gain the stats too terribly fast. Someone such as Myrall or Thea, for instance, they may take a total of 7.2 million damage killing one mob, IMO it's strange that they can only hit for the same meager amount as someone who's been training for a month. - Tiphareth 15:34, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Choosing your Respawn Point Premium

Idea: You can choose your own respawn point while paying a monthly fee.
Proposed Rules: Cannot be in a clan or guild area. (Zedreth: Or in a locked room? [key required])
Issues: there is a potential problem with allowing players to pick just any room they want. But, as an alternative, maybe letting them pick from the list of existing respawn points? So a human who lived in Craughmoyle could pick the Dwarven respawn point.

Quick Fish

Idea: Fish version of Quick Mine. Used with a net on the beach or the ship to Rynvale.
Proposed rules: Must have a certain amount of stamina to even attempt. (200-250)

Quick Slash

Idea:This would slash until either your stamina is gone or either your or the mob's life is gone.
Proposed Rules: None, but you should probably only hit something you know for sure you can kill. Must pay by month.

Attach Items to Hmail

Idea: Pay a recurring over time fee to be able to attach items to an hmail.
Proposed rules: All players could receive attachments, but only those with the service could send them.

Increase Interest Rates

Idea: Pay a recurring over time fee to increase interest rate at all banks at a set increment.
Proposed rules: No rule, other than what the admin would suggest for the increased interest rate. That being the only thing needing worked out.
