These fearsome beasts are borne from the white and silver dragons roaming the dragonlands, and often seek refuge in the neighboring cities of Vhys and Port Rynvale while growing up. Upon reaching an elder age or encountering too many hardships for their minds to bear, they often return to the dragonlands to live out their final years of madness. With the blinding sheen of silver dragons' scales taking to the skies, and the ability to call upon ice that could give a winter wolf frostbite like a white dragon, platinum dragons are revered for bearing the most fearsome traits of its ancestors. They take to the skies in search of their next meal and defend their territory by calling upon ice magic. In close combat, platinum dragons will extend their wings to reflect sunlight or moonlight into their opponent's eyes before using their icicle-like claws and teeth to aim for the weakest spots.

It must be distinguished that platinum dragons encountered as enemies roaming the wilds have become beasts, driven mad by years of hardship. They hunt and kill at a whim and barely have any skills of communication. Beastly dragons cannot be trusted or reasoned with; trying to talk to them is the same as talking to any other unintelligent creature.
