Oathbreakers

From HollowWiki
Foster joined Eboric as he strode into Gualon to claim his punishment upon
Hadrian for breaking his oath. Upon completion of the battle between
Hadrian and Eboric did Foster recreate the tale of the Oathbreaker in song. It goes as
follows:

Oathbreakers

Oh, the story goes
Of Oathbreakers
N'power cravers
Of Warriors and vengeance seekers
Of Justice and Sorrow
A thought to be remembered for tomorrow
A story that cannot go untold
-
Hadrian was an orphan
Living in the streets of Gualon
He wanted more
And couldn't help but abhor
The gods that set him in action
-
After Hadrian went to war
He decided to even the score
He spat at the gods and lost his soul
If only to fall out of control
-
Oh, the story goes
Of a man born to war
Fathered by steel
And Mothered by a deal
Hadrian was born of war
-
An oath this man had made
To the leader of a brigade
Of fealty and servitude
For forever and a day
-
As the gods had betrayed him
So did he betray Eboric
Broke the pact and that oath
Which Eboric came to loathe
-
The Titan Blight
He came to fight
A'ready to even the score
Eboric grit his teeth, wielding Eidhur
He thrust that weapon deep within the belly of the Cur!
-
The Son of Penda, Eboric
Who is spoken of in lyric
Showed his might yet again
Against the stormtempered Hadrian
And dauntless to the end
Defeated the man who thought to ascend
And became a legend
