Description:

A juvenile male northern Hawk Owl with a strong tendency to disregard commands and clack his beak in a 'talking back' fashion. The jesses attached to his legs bear a royal crest, identifying him as a hunting bird of Frostmaw and belonging to Satoshi. Named Desper, and chosen by Satoshi for its tendency to live and hunt in snowy climates, although their personalities clash often.

History:

One of two birds purchased by Satoshi to practice the 'noble art' of falconry--which mostly consists of her toting around a bird of prey on her wrist, when she wishes to look properly regal--after she learned that it's a common practice for those of high ranking class. Not wanting to appear the simpleton, and ever a fan of playing the Lady, the Ice Magus was quick to obtain hunting birds for herself and the rest of her family. The animals are housed in Frostmaw's mews (currently being rebuilt after blizzard damage).
