The Church was set ablaze lat last night by a candle knocked over by a priest, according to investigators. The newspaper offices were completely destroyed, as well as most of the church itself. Repair seems unlikely; the Church will more than likely have to be rebuilt from the ground up entirely. The investigative team, however, had something far more sinister to report than the candle being knocked over, and far more serious than the fire itself seems to be. Shortly after the fire was spotted by passerby, the Guard and the Volunteer Brigade were on the scene to both put out the flames before they could spread to the city and to investigate the cause. Other than finding the candle cast aside, something else was found- evidence in the form of several documents that may or may not place certain members of the church in a dark light. For now; no more information has been made readily available, other than the fact that further investigations will be made. The documents are reported to contain the names of several church members involved in illegal cultist activity as well as ties to a recent tragedy in Vailkrin. More to come soon.
