The Cenrilian Times - Cenril Finally Free?

Yesterday the streets of Cenril were full of celebration amongst the devastation brought on by the war. Though the roads are full of debris, and though bodies are still being moved from the countless acts of murder and vandalism, the people of Cenril have come together to cheer on the Guard. A speech was delivered by General Brommson and recieved with mostly high praise.

"People of Cenril; Friends, Companions, Fellow fighters and believers in the causes of Justice and Peace. Today marks a momentous occasion for this beautiful city. Today marks the day that we, together, with no small amount of effort, have finally pushed out the last of the cultists. We have recieved the surrender notice from our enemies; and we have detained all those suspected of foul play during this tumultous time. We have done this all together, each and every one of us. Today I would like to honor those who fought valiantly alongside the Guard to bring Justice back to the streets here in Cenril. First; let us stand in silence and remember those who were lost during this time, to remember those whose lives were unlawfully taken, whose lives will continue on in the stars or where-else they may be...

...Let us now thank those countless names who still stand here amongst us today, each and every one of you should be marked as a hero for your deeds; but let us not forget those who strove to take those extra actions that truly made this effort possible."

The speech went on to thank countless names, several of them familiar ones that any long-living citizen may recognize, such as Mrs. Mallard, Togo, and Melawen of Cenril Armors. The speech also went on to announce that rebuilding efforts will begin post-haste, and that there will soon be a festival celebrating Cenril's culture as well as a grand ball to celebrate what Brommson has called the Cenrilian Revival.

There have been some grumblings about the General's tactics, but for the most part, the overwhelming majority of Cenrilian opinion seems to be that Brommson has been doing good work in the city; and that she may be someone that the city can trust. More on the upcoming events to come soon.
