- Position in The Eyrie: Master of the scouts and rangers employed by the Eyrie--groundcrew as well as aerial. Originally an Elven ranger of Sage but made homeless when the Drow overtook the forest, Quinton, like many of his brethren, took refuge in Frostmaw. He found the forests and mountains surprisingly to his likings, and found a position in the Eyrie's ranks due to his skills with tracking, hunting, and animal care. It was there that he became partnered to a young Peryton stag. When many of the Sage Elves left Frostmaw to seek new homes elsewhere, Quinton was one of a few that remained behind, to better establish Eyrie's scouts. Quinton's ranger abilities are purely physical, as are all his scouts, although their abilities are honed enough that they rarely are required to call on hunters of magical skill. The group is known to be slightly elitist in this sense, distrusting reliance on magic and instead favoring what one's own eyes and ears can discover. This results in frequent conflicts with the Eyrie's deputy commander, Satoshi.
