Information on Emeritus
Much taller than the rest of the Shadowseers and Silver Stalkers, Emeritus is much different from his treant kin that dwell in the Shadow Plane's version of the regions spanning from Craughmoyle to Sage, as well as Larket and the Enchantment. Where theirs are white as snow, Emeritus' bark is soot black. The creature looks to be an amalgam of humanoid remains and tree, tattered flesh and bark giving way here and there to show off the empty ribcage within, with mushrooms popping up here and there, and milky white eyes set into a face with a seemingly permanently calm demeanor. Where the Shadowseers and Silver Stalkers are rather neutral and murderous respectively, Emeritus is kind and leans towards goodness. He leads travelers, whether unknowingly or not, down their foretold paths, whether those paths are such to affect things globally or on a much smaller scale. He knows full well that destiny cannot be hidden from, but there is always ways to fix ill prophecies, but that's up to the destined to figure out on their own. He cannot interfere much more than that, for he cannot leave the White Woods or the Lake of Echoed Screams, but he can give guidance where it is needed.
