Mithril Mechanized Repeating Bolter - (Weapon)

Description:

This is a magnificent piece of weaponry! Its main body frame is made up of Mithril with every other component seemingly fashioned from a golden alloy. There is no bow string however, or even bow arms! Indeed, now it would appear to be something more akin to what a Preklek from their side of the portal would carry. It still only fires crossbow bolts granted, but now they are housed within a rotating cylinder located near the middle of the "rifle" and launched out by a high tension spring/metal rod that is partially housed within the improved stock. In order to rotate the cylinder where the next bolt is secured after your first shot, one must pull back the spring via a bolt-action lever. Once the spring is brought back to full tension, and the cylinder has simultaneously lined up your next bolt, it is locked in place and only requires you to pull the trigger. With the addition of a scope and the potential to magically enhance each shot, this weapon is quite deadly.

History:

Originally believed to have been crafted by a Gnome and Dwarf, it almost looks as if it wasn't even originally meant for practical use, more as an artistic piece of some kind. Since then however, it has been modified to meet the needs of any aspiring marksman.
