Description:

A small Merlin given to Svilfon as a gift from Satoshi. The jesses attached to its legs bear a royal crest, identifying it as a hunting bird of Frostmaw and belonging to Svilfon. Chosen by Satoshi for Svilfon as a joke, after the bird merchant described merlins as a 'Lady's bird of choice'.

History:

One of the birds purchased by Satoshi for the Coterie, to practice the 'noble art' of falconry--which mostly consists of her toting around a bird of prey on her wrist, when she wishes to look properly regal--after she learned that it's a common practice for those of high ranking class. Not wanting to appear the simpleton, and ever a fan of playing the Lady, the Ice Magus was quick to obtain hunting birds for herself and the rest of her family. The animals are housed in Frostmaw's mews (currently being rebuilt after blizzard damage).
