Premise
The Mages Tournament is being sponsored by Tiphareth and the Mage's Guild with the dual purpose of finding new talent for the Mage's Guild and fostering RP within Hollow. Those who perform well, even if they do not win, may be asked to join the Mage's Guild.
Rules/Details
- All applicants must be either Mage, Illusionist, Necromancer, or RPing a permanent change to one of those classes.
- Use of melee is not forbidden, however, judges will likely look poorly on excessive skill in melee combat by a mage.
- All duels will be In Character
- No entry fee required
- Those registered by the deadline will be matched by Tiphareth, and will be required to agree to a duel time and date.
- Venues will be determined by Tiphareth.
- Each Round of the tournament will have a one week deadline.
- Failure to show up to an agreed duel time will result in default to the other duelist.
- The two duelists may agree to reschedule, so long as the duel takes place before the week deadline.
- Once all duels in a round have been completed, a new round will begin.
- Tournament will be single elimination.
- Duels will be 3 rounds, with either 10 or 15 minute rounds as agreed by duelists.
- Duelists will be free to make any side stakes they wish with their opponent.
- All duels will be posted on this page, along with judges, venue, and outcome.

- Winner will receive all of the following
- +0 Custom of their Choice
- 15,000 Gold
- Assured placement within the Mage's Guild
- Maybe some dueling cred?
