Description
A Hunter, similar to a Ranger, is at home in the forests and wilds of Hollow. They respect both their surroundings and the prey they seek. They are gifted with a keen eye for detail, an ability that comes in quite handy when tracking their quarry. Each Hunter tends to have their own style and preferences when it comes to the actual kill. The weapons with which they deliver the killing blow vary from ranged, such as bows and crossbows, to melee weapons like swords, spears, and daggers. Most Hunters do not use magic and, in fact, lack the ability to do so, though it is not unheard of for certain members of the class to specialize in the use of magic.
More often than not, a Hunter chooses to remain neutral in all affairs. They earn their livelihoods from the hunt and should they stray too far from said profession by becoming distracted by the matters of opposing factions, they may find it very difficult to support themselves. Some Hunters, however, have discovered that they can utilize their natural abilities in other ways. Their attention to detail makes them excellent trackers and they may find work seeking missing persons or runaways. They are also surprisingly good at spying. To hunt effectively, they know how to stay hidden and it isn’t difficult for them to adjust their abilities for espionage.
