Background

The unnamed drow has just disappeared from the scene, leaving Tanya confused and Kyros standing near the well of the secluded village, angry over her insult in saying he was unworthy even to be trained by her.

A Misunderstanding and a Proposition

Tanya turns her attention back to the man. A slight incline of her head she looks him over once again. In a hushed tone she speaks " Are you ok?" The vampriss places a hand on his arm still checking for obvious signs of trauma.

Kyros stares at her, eyes narrowed, as he watches her retreat, then disappear. He turns back to Tanya, anger still in his eyes, though not directed at her, and he shakes his head, leaning back onto the side of the well, though hardly relaxed. "Who does she think she is," he says, rather than asks, "it's her loss, really. I have Trissayne to train me, and that is enough." He watches Tanya a brief moment, his face softening, and his eyes drop down then, nearly ashamed, unsure of himself suddenly. "I've only just traveled to these lands, I've no idea who's meant to hurt me and who's not, and how should I know, anyhow? Let her see me duel, just once, and she'd regret those words," he says sharply. Turning back to Tanya, he lifts up his sleeve, showing a ragged gash near his wrist that is still very open, and holds it up for her to heal. "From fighting this morning," he tells her in earnest.

Tanya wraps her slender digits around his arm as she brings it to her view a little more at assess the wound. Placing her other hand about the wound she lets her hand glow slightly as the wound starts to heal form the inside out.

Kyros lets the healing powers wash over his arm, silently watching the wound heal up, then he pulls his hand away and rolls his sleeve down again. "Thanks," he tells her quietly, standing and going towards the outskirts of the village, drawing his sword again, clearly upset by the ordeal. "Got to go train some more," he tells her as he retreats.

Tanya watches him pull his hand away sharply as she steps back slightly. A look of complete confusion upon her delicate features not sure why he seemed upset with her. A sigh passes her lips as she pulls her hood about her head once more. Turning on her heels she moves to a nearby house and leans against it. " Your welcome." Is all the vampriss lets pass her lips. Pulling her cloak back around her slender frame concealing it once more.

Tanya sighs as she lets her frame slide down the side of the house. Closing her eyes she leans her head back and doesnt say a word. Thinking to herself slightly she wonders if she had upset him or what. Not sure and with the obvious shortness of temper he had she wasnt going to ask questions she would hate to have him attack her and her have to hurt him. Caring enough about him causes her to not want to cause him harm

Kyros leaves the area briefly, drawing his sword after the wild animals he'd been practicing his slashing techniques on. They're fast, and defensive, and it's an easy way for him to practice accuracy and stance without too much worry of getting hurt. He's breathing hard with his sword sheathed again when he comes back around to the well and spots Tanya sitting by the side of the house, watching her for a moment before he approaches. His eyes scan her over. "Hey," he says quietly, crossing his arms when he sees how sad she looks. He crouches down in front of her, bent at the knees, with his hands resting on the ground to support his weight. "What?" he asks slowly, quietly.

Tanya moves her gaze from the ground to meet his. Shaking her head slightly she sighs " Oh nothing. It just seemed to me you were mad at me for some reason."

Kyros says, "No, of course I wasn't mad," with a look of focus on his face. "Tan... I'm not mad at you. I was mad at her," he motions off to the west, where the drow had last been seen, and then his eyes focus on her again, his eyebrows furrowed. "Don't be so upset." He stands to his full height and offers and hand to help her up to her feet.

Tanya moves her gaze to his hand as he offers it listening to his words. Reaching up she grasps his hand with hers and stands. "She can be nice but she likes to train people."

Kyros pulls her to a standing position in front of him and releases her hand. "Yes, well, she's too full of herself to do anyone any good, I think," he says with a shake of his head. "She ought to work on that." He moves back, allowing her a little bit of space, and looks away, out towards the road back into Kelay, still in sight from where they stand. "You didn't think I really would be upset with you, did you?"

Tanya lets her feet plant on the ground. As she smirks " Well I wasnt sure if you were mad at me or not."

Kyros shakes his head and offers her a brief smile. The fighting had calmed him, and perhaps the fact that she seems upset over him perhaps being mad at her were calming him, too. "Oh, but you're so difficult to be angry at," he says with a vague smile turning up the corners of his lips.

Tanya smiled a little more as she crosses her arms beneath her bosom. " You would be surprised it is rather easy for someone to be mad at me."

Kyros watches her silently, a knowing smile on his lips, and he shakes his head unabashedly, shrugging his shoulders. "Well, alright, fair enough. It's difficult for -me- to be angry with you, then. Is that better?" he asks without sounding ashamed, his eyebrows raising at her. "I rather like you, you know. I wouldn't be upset with you over nothing."

Tanya laughs lightly hearing him reword what he had spoke. "Aye dove that is better." Tanya sighs slightly more as she keeps her gaze upon him " ahh I noticed that your form is getting better."

Kyros smiles at the words, seeming proud to have gotten a compliment of sorts. Any sort of improvement was improvement, he figures. "Yeah? Well I've been practicing on it a lot. I do want to fight Trissayne again and see where I really need improvement," he shrugs, toying with the hilt of his sword. "You could teach me, too, what I need to work on, how to be faster and how to react to attacks, right?"

Tanya smirks more as he asks about her teaching him " Aye that is true I could teach you but you would be learning to defend against magical attacks."

Kyros nods and shrugs his shoulders. "That's good. I need to learn to defend against everything. I need to know how to get out of the way of lightning bolts, and how to fight against anything and everything," he says confidently. "That's the only way I'll become a good fighter. Come on," he takes a few steps back, drawing his sword. He takes his stance and turns his body, watching her carefully. "Teach me."

The Spar

Tanya grins as she watches him ask her to train him. Her crimson hues trail his hand as she places it upon the hilt of his sword. The woman lets her gaze move back to his as she curls the corners of her mouth even more. "If it is what you wish than so be it." With that said the vampriss simply nods as she bring her hands out in front of her quickly slapping them together. The whole area fills with a dense fog that get thicker and thicker within seconds. A menical laugh is heard expelling from the fog but the woman is completely covered. Spinning her arms the fog starts to disapate as the woman is now seen standing upon a nearby roof. Moving her hand to her back where her crossbow is slung she draws it and grasps a few bolts fromt he quiver at her side. Letting her slender frame drop to one knee she loads them into the crossbow and lets her weapon rest upon her bent knee. Taking aim she sends a few bolts at the man aiming for various points upon he body. One for his chest, one for his leg, and another aimed at his shoulder to render his arm useless to swing the sword.

Kyros keeps his eyes wide and alert, the fog throwing him completely for a loop, and he takes several steps backward in it, nearly tripping over a rock behind him. With his sword drawn, Kyros grips the hilt tightly, and as soon as the fog begins to clear, he looks around for her, head turning quickly towards the well, then back up towards the hung linens nearby, then to the roofs of houses - there. He spots her, and he takes another step back, knowing that without any missle range weapons, which he has none of, he's hopeless to send any kind of attack at her until she comes down. For now, he'll have to focus on keeping himself alive and, granted, that might be a hard enough task as it is. He sees her readying the bows and prepares to dodge, tightness in his muscles aiding him in quickly moving, crouched, and holding the hilt of his sword out to the side, using it to shield his chest. Yet, while he moves to avoid the first arrow, it skims his arm, cutting through his shirt and just into his flesh. The second, then, misses completely and the third, as he tries to dodge, goes right past his head. Ecstatic with his luck at only having suffered minor injuries, he shouts a "Ha!" up at her, then sheaths his sword and runs at the post of the clothesline. Using both hands, he pulls himself up and mounts the top of it, balancing with careful, bare feet, then launches himself onto the roof next to her. He advances quickly, without giving her time to register his presence, unsheathing his sword again and running at her in hopes of getting a well-aimed slash at her.

Tanya smirks as she stands and watches him look around for her as her bolts soar at him. Once he realized where she was and that he had things soaring at him. Tanya smirks more as she sees one of the bolts graze his arm leaving a wound that is bleeding the other two nearly missing their target. The smell of the metallic liquid that is flowing from the wound on his arm touches her nostrils. The vampriss screams out a ear piercing scream as a look of horror forms upon her delicate features. Her canines start to elongate from her top jaw. Once her transformation is done she stands there with her mouth a gap staring at him a bigger smirk forms upon her ruby lips her fangs now showing they run from her top jaw and come to a point. Not realizing that he had made the bound to the roof tops where she was. Turning her gaze to the the man once more once she had realized he stood near her. Swinging his sword the woman moves quickly to the left but it is not quick enough as the sword grazes her leg and cuts into her skin. Since she had nothing protecting her legs from attack. When the sword comes to its final stop it had cut her leg, and her arm. The vampriss howls out in pain as her eyes narrow at the man slightly. Lifting her foot she slams it down upon the roof top lifting herself off the roof and dropping to the ground with a thud. Her back was to the man briefly as she turns she lifts her right hand up so it is pointing at the sky. With a flick of her wrist a thunder clap is heard in the distance and get more frequent the closer it gets. A few lightning bolts strike the ground just before the woman. A bigger smirk upon her lips as she drops her hand quickly to her side and extends her left hand out in front of her. With her right hand dropping it send three lightning bolts are sent at the human. One aiming for his chest which will cause his heart to skip a few beats if it's a direct hit, one at his arm in an attempt to disarm him, and the other at his stomach to knock him back few feet. Snapping the slender digits of her left hand the ground starts to shake causing the house that he is standing on to shake as well causing him to lose balance. Tanya than starts to twirl her hand in place as the wind picks up and a cyclone appears in front of her. Tanya continues to smirk at Kyros as she nods her head sending the cyclone at him in an attempt to pick him up and slam him to the ground with such force that could possibly snap his spine.

Kyros has few precious moments to appreciate his successful hit, the gash on her arm and leg, because despite the fear coarsing through her, the ringing in his ears from her yell and the sight of her face twisted, sharp fangs and a spiteful grin, he keeps his defense up, keeps his eyes on her, and steadies his footing. He sees the lightning strike in front of her and mumbles under his breath "Oh, no. No," as he jumps down from the roof, knees bent to absorb the impact, and his ankle is throbbing. Yet, he limps under the curved roof of the house and presses his back against the side of it so that the lightning can't make way to him. Suddenly, then, the ground is shaking, and he can do nothing but keep his hands pressed to the side of the house. As soon as the ground stills, he runs at her, his ankle throbbing painfully and he almost makes it to her before he finds himself swept up, feet far from the ground, and he flails his limbs helplessly, abandoning his sword and grasping air, hoping to find purchase in something solid yet, just as quickly, the winds have died down, and he's soaring towards the ground. He shouts out an explative and covers his head with his arms as he sees the ground fast approaching, and then blackness. He hits with a loud thud, his body smacking into the dirt and laying motionless, his sword several feet away, sticking into the ground, and his legs and arms twisted at poor angles at his sides, the man's chest barely moving and his body still.

Tanya watches as he avoids her lightning and with her gaze still locked on him she grins more as he freaks over the moving ground. Standing her ground she watches him run at her ready to attack once more. Swiftly the cyclone picks him up and throws him all around. Watching him be tossed around in it. Tanya watches him fall to the ground as she runs to him.

Healing & Teasing

Examining his body she realizes that he is badly injured. Kneeling down she places her hands upon his twisted body taking in all the spots that need healing and realizing to use her healing powers would take weeks to heal the injuries. Tanya reaches into her pack as she grabs the blue potion she had given him before to help with it. Popping the cork she lets it flow into his mouth. Once it started to work it would cause a lot of pain as the bones realign themselves and heal.

Kyros lays on his back, his body badly hurt and his consciousness gone. When finally the blackness disappears from his eyes and he can see Tanya above him, he's breathing hard, in such an amount of pain that he can't even talk. His face twists, and his neck thrashes, pushing him from consciousness back into blackness, and it takes a minute for him to come to a second time. When he does, though, most of the bones are healed, and he's panting hard for breath, one hand lifting and digging into her wrist tightly, desperately wishing for the pain to stop, as he turns his head to the side, eyes squeezed shut and his grasp on her wrist as hard as ever, he can't make anything out or gain enough control over his body to speak, just letting the potion do its work and keeping his shaking body as still as he can.

Tanya lets him grip her wrist knwing he is going through an emencce amount of pain. Tanya just breaths slightly as she whispers " It will be done here soon dove."

You shakes his head and groans under his breath, his back, no longer broken, arching up off of the dirt ground as the magic potion does its trick to heal him, fixing his bones and his muscles alike. The cut from her arrow is the last thing to disappear, and by the time it does, Kyros is laying flat on the ground, still and breathing hard, looking up at her through his bangs, which are sweaty and stuck to his forehead. "Good fight," he breathes finally, blinking up at her and gritting his teeth a little. His eyes are watching her, the curve of her lips specifically, and he moves one hand up, resting it on the curve of her cheek so that his thumb can press against her lips, pushing them apart to get a better look at her fangs, curious to see if they're still there.

Tanya lets him mess with her lips now that she is pleased that he is healed. Her fangs still visible as he searched for them " Aye that was a good one."

Kyros sits up a little more, tilting his head as he looks at her fangs. His thumb slides over her lower lip then, steady, his hand still shaking some. "Wow," he says slowly, and his hand runs down gently, over the curve of her neck, down to her chest, and he smirks as he unashamedly slides his hand down over the front of her breasts and down further, gripping the front of her shirt and pulling her in closer. "You're attractive when you're fighting, I think," he says slowly, "Thanks for healing me."

Tanya feels his fingers run down her lower lips as his hand moves to her neck and down her chest and over her breast slightly. with the touch upon her breast the woman inhales sharply. With a grins she continues to let her gaze stay on him " Thank you for the compliment. I dont think anyone has ever told me that before. normally they call me horrible names when I am fighting."

Kyros leans up a little closer. His hand is still on her shirt and he lets a slow noise of interest leave his lips. "I wouldn't call you horrible names, even if we were fighting," he tells her slowly, and his hand slips down further, resting upon the inner part of her upper thigh. Perhaps it is the adrenaline from the fight, or his immense attraction to her, but he can't help himself.

Tanya closes her eyes slightly as she feels his touch move further. " Mm thats a good thing to know dove. If you keep that up your going to end up turning me on."

Kyros rests his head back down, fingers pushing up into the crease between her thighs and then back down towards her knees, removing his hand totally. "Wouldn't want that," he says quietly, his hand inching away slowly and dropping back down to his side.

Tanya groans slightly as his hand brushes between her thighs slightly. " No we wouldnt because than I would have to have you deal with it." Tanya reached her hand up to his cheek as she lets her thumb rub gently over his cheek.

Kyros hums under his breath in the back of his throat. He inches closer to her, his mouth passing within inches, but then he's sitting up, rubbing his side. "Hell of a cyclone thing you've got," he tells her quietly, moving to stand, testing out the recently healed bones on shakey legs.

Tanya keeps her eyes closed as she senses his lips pass hers closely. Letting her eyes flutter open she is breathing heavily due to the excitment his touch had awoken within her. As she watches him stand she sighs slightly. " yes It can be rather distructive."

Kyros helps her up again, and his eyes are soft, smiling as he watches her. "Really, though, you're strong. You're," he shakes his head. "way stronger than I could ever be." He takes a step in closer, not so much teasing her this time, and brushes her hair back. "You're pretty, too. Too pretty," he says, watching her quietly. "It's too bad you're claimed by someone. I'd really like not to have to watch myself around you."

Tanya grins as he helps her up. Her boots once more touching the ground as she stands. " I am not that strong and with time you can be. Listening to him tell her that she is pretty she just adverts her eyes to the ground. " You are the first to want to watch themselves around me."

Fighting Words

Kyros shrugs his shoulders up, watching her with intent. "Yes, well, it seems I am the first you've met who has any dignity. Or, at least, any respect for the sanctity of marriage," he says, quirking an eyebrow at her. "Yourself included, it seems." He begins to walk, though glances back for her to follow if she wishes to.

Tanya stands there her arms crossed beneath her bosom. The vampriss had forgot that she had her fangs were still elongated and visible to someone that wanted to see them. Causiously she starts to step out and follow him a little. " There arent many in these lands that have morals."

Kyros smiles a bit when she begins to follow, and he walks slowly so she can catch up, but his smile falters at her words, his pacing uneven with his right leg still limping from their spar. He hadn't expected her to take so much out of him. "That's too bad. Morals are important. I suppose that might only be to me, you know? It's easier to get ahead without morals but, then, what's the point?"

Tanya catches up to him as she walks next to him her arms hang at her sides. Listening to his words she nods. " Well that may be true but sometimes there can be a reason to get ahead without morals." Shrugging slightly she sighs.

Kyros raises a brow and looks over at her, shaking his head. "There are times for that, yes. And if I was interested in getting physical fulfillment above all else, surely I would have had you in bed by now," he glances over at her with his eyebrows raised. "If you don't mind me saying so. But, that's not the person I am, and I have more pressing interests."

Tanya smirks at him as she lets her fangs retract into her upper jaw. Tanya lofts an eyebrow at him slightly " And you think I am that easy?"

Kyros gives a short laugh at the question, as if he barely has to consider it. "Oh, please. You're funny. You're the one who was kissing me in the Frostmaw mines and telling me I'd take care of it if I turned you on. Don't put on a guise of morality now," he says honestly, giving her a pointed look. "You seem to know very well what you want and you also seem to be totally unashamed of getting it."

Tanya stops as she listens to him " Just because i say things or kiss someone doesnt mean i am one that will jump right into bed with them," Her eyes narrow slightly at the words he had said.

Kyros takes a moment to notice that she's stopped, but when he does, he stops as well and turns to face her. "Look, no one said anything defamating about you as a person, sweetheart," he says, raising his shoulders in a shrug. "But if you had no plans to jump into bed with me, I think you ought not to talk like you do, lest your reputation proceed you, hm?"

Tanya smirks slightly as she listens to him. " I dont just jump right into bed with someone specially when they think they are a smooth talker." Tanya smirks a little more " At least I wasnt the one with their hand between the others legs. Which by the way what is it about my fangs that caused that reaction from you?"

Kyros shakes his head, sighing. "Oh, please," he says, "You're a beautiful woman, Tanya, and when you've come onto me so strongly, it's difficult for me not to react, and even to be a little proactive myself towards you. That changes not the fact that you did kiss me, and tell me to take care of your arousal."

Tanya smirks as she watches him walk away from her. Moving to follow him she finally catches up to him and grabs a hold of his arm stopping him in mid step. " I do want to thank you for not wanting to go that far with me. I do think it is a great thing and wished more possessed that."

Kyros stops when he feels the hand on his arm, turning to face her with his eyebrows furrowed down. "Alright," he says again, in much the same way, inching his arm away. "It's just how I am, I suppose, how I've been taught to treat women and honor marriages. Of course, I can't stop what you may be doing with other people behind your fiance's back, but I can at least express my distaste."

Tanya grins a little more " I come off a certain way to people and I act a certain way. The honest truth is I have slept with one other. That happened when he left for a long period of time I didnt think he would be coming back. Either way I have something to attend to I shall see you tomorrow."
