Frostmaw Colosseum

Kuzial is sitting in the stands once more; the same place he sat yesterday. The scowl on his face is enough to keep most people away from him, though a few giants remain nearer than he'd like. Whether they are sent to keep an eye on him, or simply dislike his recent antics, they are wary when watching the powerful patron. A dagger is used to casually clean his nails, but other than that, and his ever-present scowl, the patron seems what he is; nothing but an observer to the coming conflict.

Dyzz supposed it was time for her fight, this time. She was being ushered to the arena, and once in there, she found herself ooing and ahhing at the immensity of the arena. She wandered what kinda fight she'd have! She was running on a full belly, which was really good, and the spirits had shown her all sorts of neat ways to manipulate the genetic information in her biology to change herself in numerous ways. She would be quite the little bruiser. She shrugged off her robes, flexing her pathetically tiny body, showing off her stuff! She made funny faces while she posed in flex, showin off her guns. Today was her day to shine!

Dasha was soon shown her way towards the arena, her coat being removed as she went along. She handed off the single piece of clothing to the people, a quick remark as she asked them to hold onto it.. Who knows, maybe they'd be nice about it? With that, she moved inside and spotted Dyzz, for the second time. A sigh was given, the smelly troblin, why did it have to be the smelly troblin? Her hands moved towards a piece of her shirt, a simple swipe to remove two strips of clothing and soon, nose plugs made. She didn't show off otherwise, just simply awaited the start of the fight.

Dyzz cracked her neck side to side, watching Dasha enter. She had to use only her physical prowess, and looking at her tiny form, that wasn't anything intimidating. Yet. She began to twist her anatomy, primitive shifter magic stretching bone and muscle, reforming tendons, changing her very shape. Her immunity to pain and her regeneration, racial traits both, gave her a combination that allowed her to do things with her body few others could accomplish. Such piecemeal transformations would mutate and kill most. Her muscles thickened, enlarged. Her skin thickened, became leathery. Her skull reshaped to a goblin style, the skull plate thick, and providing good cover to the eyes. Ram horns came out along her ears, accenting the defenses on her head, and her bottom tusks enlarged, the better to gore her opponent with. Bones extended knobs past the end of her flesh on her shoulders, elbows, knees, and knuckles, ending in jagged spikes of exposed horn. She threw a few test punches, thickening bone and muscle for a good mixture of strength and agility. She must have doubled her weight, using the matter she consumed in such large quantities and stowed away in the form of malleable energy. She growled, and charged, aiming to pummel her taller opponent with a simple headbutt ram to start, hoping to crack ribs or wind her, and then pummel her further with bone braced knuckles, anywhere she could reach, savagely and without any reservation.

Dasha watched the transformation watched with awe but when the female finished in her steps to change; only to be proven with the practice punches, the feline became serious once more. Her stance shifted, a more boxer style of fighting. The feline seemed slightly intimidated at first, the exposed bones, longer teeth, the entire look slightly terrifying, but as she watched her charge to head but the feline couldn't help but grin. Her defense was simplistic in design for she began to time the troblin's attack and just before the head slammed into her ribs, she stepped off to the side and swung her leg low for Dyzz's ankle. It was a powerful kick, meant to force Dyzz to the ground in one solid trip, so that the feline could follow up with several more attacks. Whether or not the first kick tripped the troblin, Dasha followed behind her foe with a small flurry of punches aimed at the back of Dyzz's skull. Hopes that it might daze and disorient the troblin before it could inflict any serious damage upon the feline with it's enlarged body.

Dyzz gave little thought to defense, and when Dasha sidestepped her, her attack was ruined completely. She found herself tripped, and blows rained upon her skull, which made her grunt as she fell. She was a bit disoriented, but took the beating with ease, and regained her feet quickly, adrenaline serving to do what skill wouldn't. Well, skill… perhaps she hadn't skill in fighting, per say, but she had incredible talent in submission wrestling. She focused on her tailbone, hopping back to gain a little time, and extending it beyond her flesh, to drip with internally made poisons, a spear tip on the end. The weapon concealed, for now, the poison on it had been acquired by licking a henbane dryad, and with her sense of taste, Dyzz could break down complex biology and manipulate her own to reproduce it. She would dive, this time with a low set center of gravity, reserved to keep herself from being tripped once more, and feint another ram, only to attempt to slide, with surprising finesse, behind her like a baseball player going for home plate, the break off from the ram coming at the last moment. If she got behind her, that was best, but even if she didn't make it all the way, she would wrap her arms around her waist, through any rain of blows if it was possible, and bend over backwards, throwing Dasha's weight over herself in a fisherman suplex, to pin her to the ground, while the tail would whip up, then stab savagely at her prone form. Up close, hands on, she was a very talented submission wrestler.

Dasha had successfully landed several attacks, though the hardened skull of the troblin wasn't exactly the most satisfying thing to smash your fists into repeatedly. It hurt, unfortunately but it wasn't a pain she could avoid. Dyzz however seemed to want more and as it went to charge, Dasha once more went to time, her feet to sidestep just in time only to notice a slide! She couldn't fix fast enough, her mind having overestimated her foe and her waist grabbed. She was thrown to the ground easily and as the tail came down, Dasha tried to avoid. Her body twisted and turned, though to late for just as she was about to roll out from under the much heavier troblin, the tail cut across her side. She got away, the simple action of a roll her ticket to freedom but it wasn't soon enough. Her body limped from the combined attack, the troblin's weight and the cut to her side. She turned around to face Dyzz once again to start the assault all over, she needed an edge, an advantage and soon her claws seemed to come about. Two quick strikes for Dyzz's eyes, aimed to blind the troblin, followed by one solid kick for the side of the knee to break her foe's leg.

Dyzz regained her feet again after her successful submission that Dasha had quite skillfully escaped. Dasha was quicker to rise, though, and claws came at Dyzz! Dyzz almost laughed as they raked her face, she would just barrel in again, the scratches catching on the plate skull and horns, they did their job well. The blow to the knee was much better aimed, and though the thick bone and muscle were very strong, they weren't quite flexible enough under their own weight to take the hit in stride, for which Dyzz would pay. The leg broke where it was hit, and though the pain would do little to slow Dyzz down, it severely crippled her ability to move quickly, and taxed her already loaded regeneration abilities, which went too much into keeping her enchanced form working to take care of such wounds with their usual speed and efficacy. The poison would soon slow her down, searing pain and burns spreading through the point of origin, nigh melting flesh. Once diluted at the site of entry, it would do little more than slow her down and cause pain, though. It was really a reactionary sort of poison, to stop bugs. Dyzz would press into her, taking the beating and using her good leg to launch a false feint, a ram back into her to grab a hold of her clothes and keep her close while braced knuckles pounded at her face, her ribs, her hip, anything Dyzz could cock her arm back and pound in before Dasha got any distance again.

Dasha felt the bone snap, the attack she meant to happen successful, the hope to slow down her foe the only aim of that entire barrage. Soon however, the effects of the poison were felt for what was once an easy grab to avoid was now something that grasped her with ease. Her body couldn't react as fast as her mind, for while she screamed to evade, her body seemed to sluggishly behind to get out of the way. Dyzz grappled her easily and held her tight, as fist after fist barreled into the feline's side. The wound that was previously made by the tail was struck, once, twice, more? The pain made it to hard to tell. She started to feel weak, wobbly even, was she going to be able to win? Her mind went to doubt any thoughts of victory at this point, only surviving the troblin seemed to matter. Head came forward, a powerfully idiotic move, aimed to smack into Dyzz's head for a brief moment and dazzle the enemy. Her claw then moved for her own clothes, where Dyzz had gripped her, and tore through them to break her free. As soon as she was released from her binds, she moved upon the knee once more, another kick aimed for injured limb.. It wasn't a good move, but it was most certainly dirty and the goal here was to get away.. Not play fair.

Dyzz got in her blows, and pummeled her opponent well. She had thought to start eating her, but didn't want to kill her, she held back enough that she hadn't used her tusks. When Dasha became desperate, she took Dyzz by surprise. The head smashed her own, which was an idiotic move, as it only confused her a little, splashing a little sticky, poison goblin blood onto Dasha's forhead from the scratch Dasha had inflicted on Dyzz earlier. If her own forhead got a cut from that move, the goblin blood may infect her head, further harming her. But then she tore free of her own clothing, and Dyzz fell backwards, midway cocked to punch her again, and the kick to her already injured leg dropped her like a sack of potatoes. Not that she couldn't get back up, but she grunted through the pain as her leg was even more severely injured. She gathered her limbs under her, prepared to make a grab for Dasha if she came close enough, but not trusting the injured leg to hold her. It was a very good thing she was so good with pain.

Winner, by split vote, Dasha.

Dasha found herself quite worried about further assault from the troll, she had already been rather mangled by the assailant and didn't want anything further. She slowly circled, poison to still pour through her veins, slowing her movements. She needed a way out, a way to leave but how? She came close, a grab from Dyzz made and the feline's arm sent the attack the other way. Her fist moved towards Dyzz's chin, an uppercut aimed to smash and when it did, it caught Dyzz off guard. The troblin stumbled backwards and the feline kicked for Dyzz's other knee, the attack not nearly strong enough to break bone. As the troblin took the final blow, she stumbled down and stayed there.. Dasha to take a step back and head for the exit.. She needed to get a healer.

Kuzial watches the satisfactory ending to the duel with a hint of sadistic delight etched into his psychotic gaze. The arena, filled with giants and guests alike, erupts into thunderous applause, having quite enjoyed the spectacle. A few healers wander out to see to the duelists, though it's clear they are unsure quite what they would do with Dyzz. But nevertheless, their job is clear and they are willing to do it if required. As the noise dies down, Kuzial gets to his feet to leave, not even hearing the royal declaration that Dasha won and would be going to the next round.
