Kelovath vs Creechy

Creechy \\Bors approaches his fellow giant death knight haughtily shaking the earth with each step, confident that no foe could stand before him. He's dressed in dark armor, scarce except for key points, spiked shoulders, knees, hefty boots of plate, a girdle and bracers. His weapon is a great morning star, the head alone weighs hundreds of pounds and the spikes are jagged and brutal. "You're on me turf," he says to the other, but submission wouldn't deter him from a fight today, he came for one. After a brief staredown he laughs with a bellow that echos for miles and haunts those innocents not brave enough. Suddenly he lunges toward his foe and grips the mace two handed, curling it back behind his head, winding up for a homerun. Once in range he heaves his mace towards his foes chest in a mountain toppling horizontal swing, the mere momentum and force of wind it creates clears ambient dust and bends trees.

Kelovath was completely equipped with plated-armor, even though he wasn't one for physical actions. Which, for a giant, seemed quite weird, but his intense training of his mind, along with being a deathknight, allowed him to be a bit more skilled in magic than most other giants. Unusual, for certain, but it had it's advantages. The large giant carried around an equally large spell-book, containing a vast amount of spells and other magics. The damn thing was powerful, but addictive. Hell, it was the main reason he was even here. It sensed something here, so, Kelo was more or less dragged. Quite honestly, the giant thought very little of his counterpart. The fellow giant was a brute, like most of their race was. Kelo gave a simple shrug at the other's words and started to mutter an incantation. Doing so withdrew a spell from the book and just as Bors started to swing his massive weapon, the spell was unleashed. Almost instantly, a blast of dark, evil magic was sent towards the attacker. The magic was strong enough to also send the caster backwards a few 'giant's' feet. Once gaining his composer, Kelovath started once again to mumble some inaudible words. This time, a red-ish aura began creeping it's way toward the children.

Creechy was too momentous to ever attempt to dodge the attack; he was fast, but carried no agility. He lurched his arm forward and lowered his head behind his heavy spiked pauldron as he barreled through it. When he came out on the other side, his left arm was raw, flayed down to bear muscle, but even then he kept charging belligerently with much the same speed towards his foe. "I only ever needed one arm!" he shouts at him, before he tries to slam his spiked shoulder into the other giant, if only to off balance him for a moment. Then he spun around carrying his heavy mace one handed, spinning to supplement the fact that he only had one good arm. This time he swung for his foes legs, the head of his mace almost behind them to completely take them out from under him.

Kelovath continued to mumble as the aura fully engulfed about seven children. They were scattered here and there throughout the area, their eyes glowing bright-red now, almost as if there was something now deep inside of them. Pure evil, this damned book was, even thought it appeared Kelovath grasped onto it like death itself would rip his life away. Thanks to his plated armored, the weak attempt at an attack was enough to send the other giant off balance and even cause a slight amount of damage to his arm and side. Luckily, he was able to keep on with his spell directed toward the children. Still being off balance, fate once again stepped in and the aimed attack at his legs was dodged. Finally, Kelo slammed into the orphanage, only causing minimal damage to it. As quick as a giant could, Kelo pushed away from the building and with a shout, the red aura within the children exploded. Pieces and parts of the kids went everywhere all at once, then suddenly all came back into one being. Now, about half the height of the giants, the undead pieces and parts of the kids came to life. The small pieces of the orphanage were collected by the child-golem-thing, and immediately they attacked Bors. Being smaller, the golem-thing sprung towards Borg and started to wildly beat him with the wooden debris. Almost like Yoda, the golem-thing jumped all over the place, continuously smashing and beating at Bors. Kelo couldn't help but to smirk at the sight and begin to chant yet again.

Creechy //Bors was (unfortunately for him) death knight in deed far more than in action. His superiors would have him equipped with weapons worthy of the title, but his own intelligence was far too feeble to ever understand the intricacies of magic and sorcery. So even when his foe utilized them, he was unable to defend against them. Twofold, his lesser intelligence allowed an easy corruption from the cursed mace, its suggestions pervading his own thoughts and influencing them. Now it sensed its own demise. It fueled its wielder with blind ruthless, reckless, rage. Caring only for the destruction of his foes, for in that came perpetuated life. The golem thing attacked him, and though its attacks were minor individually, they were adding up, and at first he swung wildly but unable to catch up with its surprising agility. Suddenly he paused and it almost seemed as if he'd given up, his arm dropped slack at his side. But he was tracking it. The abomination hit him once more and lept to his side, as soon as it landed, Bors bellowed and suddenly shot out his wicked mace in a thrust and gored the abomination. He lifted the abomination attached to his mace and lunged once more at his foe-giant, shouting like thunder, blinded so by his mace's influence that he's unable to coherently think anymore enough to form words. He Lept off one foot heaving his great mace high into the air and bringing it down like a meteor to the head of his foe, intending to leave nought but dust and red dirt where once he stood.

Kelovath knew quite well how the influence of the cursed weapon could be. Even though it seemed his golem thing was no more, Kelovath wasn't worried. He knew his battle was over long before it started. He knew exactly how his race worked. He could sense the evil within Bors growing and even more so, the rage building as well. Again with a smirk and continued chanting, the magically inclined giant used what little was left of his reserves to simply cast a spell. A simple one at that. Unfortunately, spell was a little late, but it still worked. The spell was to transport the giant away from the attack, but being slightly late, he was instead hit directly on his armored shoulder, breaking the bone completely in half, regardless of the armor over it. Of course, he did still use the spell, which sent the evil giant far away from the orphanage and more than likely, the shattered remains of the front of the building caused by Bors. Those poor, poor children.

Creechy gritted his tombstone sized teeth in a nasty smile when he felt his mace's solid impact. Only there was nought to be found. He looked all about himself to find out if he'd been duped, attacked an illusion or was otherwise being misdirected. He saw no sign of the foe who maimed him so horribly but he still had raaaaaaaage. He retrieved his mace from the pit it created, the impaled monster still sticking to it, twitching at interval. He heaved his mace up once more and smashed the beast into the ground, utterly decimating it. Then effortlessly, he resumed his original occupation of smashing up the orphanage. Yes, those poor children.
