Chartsend Public Gardens

Ariaraine moved with a slight limp through the land of Chartsend, left foot, tap of a crutch, left foot, tap. The woman who stood barely above five feet in height with white-blond locks pulled back into a braid ending at her waist wore a old t-shirt with the sleeves missing and holes through out revealing more of her pale skin and a pair of old pants cut off into shorts that revealed a missing right leg, well above where a knee would be. Using a make-shift crutch the druid move through the twisted trees looking to meet up with the one known as Gnurkel as the note clutched in her left hand read.

Gnurkel swaggers into the gardens, dripping after her first ever bath. She looks for her fellow contestant and wonders if the woman on a crutch is her.

Ariaraine stopped in her walk amongst the normally peaceful gathering spot of the locals within the trees when a smell of another being reached her sensitive nose. Being a lycanthrope she was capable of catching the smells of others in the area, though when in her human form the ability was not as good as when in her wolf form. The smell was ogre and not just ogre, but wet ogre which stank worse even if she just came from a bath. Assuming this was her foe since there was not another soul present in the gardens Aria moved forward with a few more steps, but still kept her distance from Gnurkel. Emotionless in her expression as the woman stood there with bright green eyes locked on the ogre. She would start it off simple as Gnurkel moved closer the ground beneath her would suddenly collapse into a trench as the druid connected with the ground around. The lycan hoped to catch her opponent off guard and send them falling to the ground.

Gnurkel scratches her bald head. wnen she finds herself in a ditch. Mud again, feels like home. She clambers out and glares at the lycan. "'ere! Ya do dat? Dis nice bootie thing! Ya knaw, conte..ontes. I dunno. You not nice!" She gives Ariaraine a big female, ogress slap around the face.

Ariaraine smirked ever so faintly watching as the ogre fell into the ground that collasped in front of her. That was the one thing she liked about most of Gnurkels's kind, they were slow. Not only slow in movement, but with thought process as well. The gap between the one legged lycan and the fallen ogre was still present, but as green eyes of the druid caught movement from Gnurkel after her strange words she once more called upon the ground beneath her. This time a column of solid dirt rose up quickly to block the incoming swing while Aria stepped back a few steps expecting the slap to hit the dirt instead, most likely shattering with the natural strength that her foe had. This defensive tower of dirt was no the only that shot forth from the ground. A series of four pointed spikes followed, aimed for Grunkel to prevent her from climbing out from the trench and coming forth after her.

Gnurkel climbed out of the trench a while and watches the spikes with scorn, if she knew what that was. "Ya play dirt, kid. Me Miss Gamorg for," she holds up three fingers, "dat many years. Gnurk know dirty. Gnurk play dirt! Me make ya ogre meat mix." The normally affable ogress, who only wants to make music, is angry. She lumbers against a tree and, using her weight, bends it down in the hope of whacking the annoying woman on the head and pummelling her into the ground.

Ariaraine did not stop backing up with slow uneven steps of the left foot and crutch as she watched the ogre get herself out of the hole in the ground. As Grunkel bent the tree down using her weight the lycan herself began to move. There was no way to run from the incoming tree with only one leg, but she was able to throw her crutch at the orge as if it was a blunt ended spear aimed for face in hopes of distracting of the woman. As she threw her crutch she dived forth into the ground, skidding along the dirt away from the swinging tree. Sliding away from it as the end branches drug along her back side causing a series of fresh scratches with some deeper than others. Out from under the tree's branches the lycan rolled over onto her back, kicking against another tree to propell herself further from the orge's reach while calling upon the tree roots nearby. The roots slinked out from the ground in arches beneath Grunkel. This was in hopes of knocking the creature over onto her back side.

Gnurkel leans back against the swaying base of the tree she used. Then she is hit in the face by a piece of wood. She bites it and shakes her head. "Na, not eat stuff," She looks at it and realizes it is the other woman's crutch. She yells out, "Ya throw stick at Gnurk! Ya pay! ". She is about to chase after the annoying woman when tree roots sprout around her feet. "Whad der?" Angrier than she has ever been before, she uproots the entire tree, disengaging it from her feet with angry shoves. She picks the tree up and throws it, trunk, branches and all at the lycan. "Take that, bad wolf! "

Ariaraine gave the smallest of chuckles as the ogre was getting angry from being hit by the crutch in the face. Watching the ceature get caught by the branches of the trees was almost funny to the lycan too. She had such a sick humor. It was in this moment that she watched her foe move to rip the tree forth from the ground, freeing herself from the roots. Wide eyed she watched as the oversized woman then threw the whole tree in her direction. Still on the ground the lycan scotted herself as quickly as she could behind another tree that was next to her. Pulling her good leg into her chest as she used the trunk of this tree to cover herself. The incoming thrown three hit the ground, slidding between the tree she was behind and the one next to it. Her right side taking a massive scraping from the branches as the passed by before crashing into another tree.

Winner: Ariaraine

Ariaraine let out a low growl as the tree crashed to a halt thanks to the surrounding trees. Embracing her strength from her lycanthrope nature she took a grasp of the fallen tree, braced herself, then threw it back with a grunt at the ogre to knock her down pinning her between it and another nearby tree. This giving her the time to take off.
