- The life cycle of a Crimson Deathcap is a tragic one. A cross between a Creeping Fungus and any unfortunate Pixie from the nearby Enchantment, the fungus acts as a parasite, leeching off of its host's unique magical properties until the crimson deathcaps are fully formed and the host is deceased. It is at this stage of development that the fungus separates from the creeping fungus to spread spores to a new location. Once it's reproduction is complete, the fungus and the bones of the pixie crumble into dust. True to its name, these deep-red mushrooms are highly toxic to virtually all races if the spores are inhaled; the Crimson Deathcap will also shoot these spores at any living creature it senses might be hindering its movement.
