- The Black Annis is a sight that strikes terror into the hearts of all who encounter her. Standing at a hunched and imposing height of nearly seven feet, she is a grotesque sight to behold. Her form is twisted and deformed, her body gnarled and emaciated. Covered in matted, coarse black hair, her skin appears ashen and weathered, like aged leather stretched tight over her skeletal frame.
The most striking feature of the Black Annis is her hideous face. Her eyes, cold and piercing, gleam with an otherworldly intensity, reflecting a malevolence that seems to seep from her very being. A large, crooked nose dominates her visage, twisted and hooked like a bird of prey. Jagged, yellowed teeth jut out from her mouth, sharp and menacing, stained with the remnants of her previous victims. Long, wiry strands of hair dangle around her face, framing it with an eerie, ethereal quality.
Clothed in tattered rags that hang loosely from her bony frame, the Black Annis is a creature of the night, haunting the darkest corners of the world. Her long, sinewy fingers end in razor-sharp claws, capable of rending flesh and tearing through armor with ease. She moves with an unnatural grace, as if gliding through the air, defying the laws of nature.
Legends speak of the Black Annis as a relentless predator lurking in the shadows of Trist'oth. Where she is known to prey upon unsuspecting wanderers and lost souls, striking with swift and grim finality from the shadows. With her keen senses and supernatural speed, she is highly capable of stalking her victims with chilling precision, appearing and disappearing like a wraith.
A Black Annis is believed to be fueled by a dark hunger for flesh that can never be satisfied. Some tales even tell of her gruesome habit of flaying her victims, using their skins to fashion grotesque garments that she adorns herself with.
