Astrala Ararchnis
Ascended for instigating the war of the higher planes.
Astrala is the Drow ascended, and the demi-goddess (technically a demon, hence "demi-") of chaos. She is generally known to be able to shift her appearance, from a gigantic, fierce spider, to that of a beautiful Drow priestess.
Astrala is currently allied with the other Dark Ascendi Vakarash and Coreliant.

Followers of Astrala
Though the Ascendi's powers have waned with their banishment to the Higher Plane, the group as a whole still manages to have several followers. The list of those for Astrala can be found here.
History & Worship
The Necromancer Ginger, finding a strong female protector to vouch for her, endeavored to join the ranks of Astrala's priestesses, despite strong antipathy toward the idea. The resistance to the pixie's wish of joining the priesthood was weaker than expected, due to lax leadership therein. Further weakening the antipathy of then-current priestesses was Ginger's adroit handling and obtaining strong live sacrifices, usually elven warriors pixie-led to the altar before their blood was spilled. After months, almost a year, of constant, fervent prayer and sacrifice that should have shamed the lazy priestesses, they allowed the pixie to join their ranks.
The Priestess Ginger, up until then absorbed with her devotions, discovers that Keter of House D'Artes includes the Spider Queen's temple in his claim of control of the Underdark. Finding such a heretical claim offensive, while quite stubbornly ignoring her racial disqualifications, the pixie priestess declared that males will never take the Spider Queen's temple as long as she stands. Keter hears of her proclamation, which isn't difficult since Ginger sent him a copy. He found the pixie and the pair engaged in fierce combat for the fate of Trist’oth.
Priestess Ginger gained control of the Spider Queen's temple after earning it through combat with Keter, though subsequently lost her right to be a member of Astrala's priestesses, after losing in a battle with Tiphareth. Months later, Tiphareth graciously allowed Ginger to reclaim the title of Astrala's Priestess under the condition that she prevent Drow from worship at Astrala's temple. Since the death of Ginger by the hands of Patron Kuzial, the current whereabouts of the Spider Temple Key has become a mystery, as it was not found on her corpse.
