Arc

An arc is a collection of RPs (or scenes) that together create a continuous storyline. An arc is primarily a wiki tool for logically organizing related RPs. It's the best communication tool to get everyone on the same page about a storyline they are all contributing to.

Anyone can make an arc without admin approval. Only seek admin approval for elements of your arc that would require approval. What requires approval? Read over the Rules of behaviour.

More facts (and one piece of advice) about arcs:

• They do not have to be global or involve many players. Some arcs are personal to the person organizing them. Other arcs are primarily between two characters. Some arcs involve only a small clan or maybe as big as a city or the map itself. Size does not matter.
• Arc 'leaders' are self-appointed. Therefore the admin team does not recognize them as approved community leaders. Area Leaders, Guild Leaders, and wiki guides are admin-approved community leaders.
• The best way to create an arc is to just RP. If and when you notice you're following one plot, then think about organizing those scenes into an arc to help other players better understand and participate in your storyline. Creating an arc out of thin air for the sake of creating an arc tends to fall flat.
