- Description:
An amulet that looks like a torn out and still beating heart, Ail'likr (which translates from an archaic tongue into 'Severance') was created by Svilfon's magic and the revenant Rheven's extensive knowledge of vampires. It has the power, albeit breifly, to sever the link between sire and sired. Prolonged use of this will cause the vampire in question to begin to lose their power and eventually die a more eternal death. Such is the price of freedom when one gives it up for further strength.

Created by the combined might of the Archmage and Wizard, it's true purpose is known only to Svilfon.
Having finished its initial purpose, the wizard was about to destroy the item... but he couldn't quite bring himself to do it. So he has hidden it away deep within the Mage's Guild, safe from the thieving hands of any.
Svilfon has taken this item from the well-protected cellars of the Mage's Guild. His intentions with it are not known to anyone, other than the wizard himself.
