- The Ahuizotl is a strange and fearsome creature, best described as a water spirit in physical form. The monster is believed to inhabit rivers, lakes, oceans, and other bodies of water, where it lurks just beneath the surface, waiting to ambush its prey.
The Ahuizotl is a relatively small creature, about the size of a large dog, but its appearance is truly terrifying. Its body is covered in short, dark fur, and its limbs are long and spindly, ending in sharp claws, which it uses to grab hold of its victims. Its face is perhaps its most distinctive feature, with a long, flexible snout like that of an otter or a beaver, lined with sharp teeth. Its eyes seem to glow with an otherworldly light, and its voice is a haunting, eerie wail.
Despite its relatively small size, the Ahuizotl is an incredibly powerful and dangerous creature. Able to swim with incredible agility and climb trees or walls with ease. Its flexible snout can stretch and contort to reach its prey, and its claws are believed to be strong enough to tear through flesh and bone. So far, most sightings have been out on Rynvale Island, just east of Fisherman's Wharf.
