A Dragon, A Knight, A Woman
The bard Foster has written a song about Hildegarde the Silver.
A Dragon, A Knight, A Woman
So show me I say
Someone true 'n unmarred
In worrisome fear of the day
And then I see Hildegarde
She is both bright and light
And not awful to the sight
A true product of her birthright
She is Silver
There is no need for a gilder
For what more do you need than a dragon
Beautiful and mighty,
So hand her a flagon
For it's not easy to maintain the look, likely
She is both smart and fierce
And not awful scarce
A true product of her course
Her gaze ubiquitous
Especially to the surreptitious
But she is not stone, the dragon
So find her a need to redden
And watch her slacken
The face of a Silver
... It is a mighty good distraction!
She is both silk and steel
An awful wrong to conceal
A true product of her zeal
You cannot buy her honor
Not with coin nor sapphire
A maiden, Lunar
The celestial starfire
Hildegarde, the Silver
