Explanation & Origins
The Horde is an ancient socio-racial alliance of several of Hollows races. The Horde represents several of what others may deem the ‘monstrous’ races. They all share a common heritage of being outsiders at the very fringes of Hollow society and are often barbarous. The Horde is not always united but every few years and idealistic tribal leader will call upon the Horde and they will attempt to become the ‘Grand Warchief’. This is usually done by defeating the other tribe’s warchiefs in unarmed combat. The Horde then tends to gather in the southern lands around Gualon, as often this ancient alliance is summoned back together by the Orcs. Once the members of the Horde are gathered they will march north on a grand campaign of pillaging and plundering the ‘weak’ nations of the north.
In the past the Horde has been manipulated into serving other masters including the dragonlords Kaizer and Solaris, Arrecation and more recently the Archmosian Empire.
