What it is:
A retelling {Cliffnotes Variation}
Empera is another inverted creation of Gospel, the particular birthing of a somewhat complex nature. As opposed to Indignation, which was catalyed by Riss' Reversal of effect, which had been birthed in a Virtuous Form- Empera started out as a malformed manifestation of pride. It was the direct result of one of Ekaitz' countless skirmishes with Kasyr Azakhaer, one of the blows landed with the curse blade having served as a Medium for the creation of that particular affliction.
His spirit and body set into Discord, Ekaitz fled both that battle and Hollow, returning to Shesryn as quickly as possible- The homeland of Figments both Chaos-Borne and of Order. There he sought both the wisdom and salvation he thought himself assured by the particular godling he served. The Godling of order did not care for Ekaitz plight however, simply stating that he should return and use that blight against Kasyr, to hasten his end. {To What end or purpose the Tieflings demise would have to the Godling of Order is relatively unknown, He hadn't even mouthed off that god.}
Regardless, there was in fact an intervention, by a third party. One of the three Beings of Neutrality, meant to uphold the balance in the Conflict upon Shesryn. It deviated the weapon Ekaitz had inherite, shifting it's purpose and powers to something which wouldn't destroy the figment of order- albeit in a none too pleasent fashion. From there, Ekaitz returned to hollow, and that Was Emperas true start in the realms.
What it can do: To the owner, when they sleep, dreams are filled with whispers; not to push the wielder- but rather to guide them down a path that is more focused- a state of balance..of Temperance. Besides that, it functions nigh Identically to Indignation, at least, in regards to this section.
Moderations Blessing: Through Temperance, through the very ideal of self control, the user finds himself protected, veritably immune to the effects of influence through Psionics or magics- through means unnatural. By things as subtle as an attempt at a charm spell, or as heinous as an outright attempt at psionic mental domination, the weapon protects it's wielder from the machinations of others through these means.
Empera's personality: Never one to harm, Empera doesn't say much; "Moderation is key" after all. Never to let its wielder down, it is always on alert, sometimes even coming into being with the slightest threat of danger. It will never resist a command, even if it doesn't agree...but the bearer will likely get a rather lectural dream the next time they sleep, but never harsh with it's teachings. Never intrusive and always kind, Empera is any person's greatest companion.
Empera's Forms: First Form {Initial}:A Pair of Wristblades, Second Form {To be Acquired at +5}: Razor Wire, Final Form {To Be Acquired at +10}: The wings.
Physical Description: {Dormant} When not activated, Empera appears on both of the wielder's forearms as a platinum tattoo on the right, and a gold tattoo on the left. The tattoo being that of a bird's wing, the base being at the wielder's elbow and wrapping down his arm to spread feathers lightly over the tops of his hands, ending just at his fingers.
{Manifest} When first activated the wing tattoos seem to split open the wielder's arms along the lines of the tattoos and 'bleed' to allow platinum hued vambraces that extend over the tops of his hands to form. Deep, gold-glowing feather runes decorate every last bit of the vambraces. Another noticable change is that the wielder's hands now glow the same gold color, and when attacking with the deadly claws that form, one can will Empera to convert the digits into pure ionic energy for a split moment, allowing not the rending of flesh...but the rending of particles.
{Initial} The weapon factor of this form is that of blades that can be instantly willed into existance, revealing the lightning coursing blade for attack or whatever the user wishes. The blades waver lightly and if one payed close enough attention to the pattern of the lightning while upon the blade, they would find that it details out feathers for a time before altering it's design into a hawk's piercing eye at the center. With the same ease of will, these blades can be completely concealed, allowing surprise attacks.
Blade Element: Aligned with the essence of light, of holiness, this weapon is mostly what you would expect of a good aligned weapon- with just the slightest twist. It also harbours an excessive affinity with Electricity, the element of lightning.
Bird: A Hawk.
