Arrecation

Arrecation is the God of all things unholy. He amaassedd an army of wicked warriors hell-bent on conquering all of hollow and ruling it with an iron fist, and launched attacks from the tainted southern lands upon the other cities of hollow. He made it so far as to destroying nearly 2/3 of the Sage Forest. The area of forest that was burned by hell's black flames never grew again, it became known as the Milous Plains. Then a strange warrior cloaked in shimmering light, Norodruin, fell to hollow from the northern regions and confronted Arrecation. The other inhabitants of Hollow combined forces and managed to defeat Arrecation's powerful army. When all that remained of his dark army was himself and Seven Demons, Arrecation was slain by Norodruin and the seven demons were cast back into the pits of hell. Arrecation's power was too immense to simply die, for his tainted soul would reincarnate his body and eventually repair himself completely. Norodruin drew two runes from within his shimmering cloak and held them over Arrecation's body. Nocturin, the black rune, absorbed Arrecation's dark soul and sealed it within its crystal walls. Oberyl, the red rune, turned Arrecation's body into a burning mist and sealed it within its walls of burning crystal. The two runes were hidden far apart from each other, so to never allow them to be reunited. The Rune of Oberyl was buried deep within the granite of the Xalious Mountains, near the village of Baskar. The Rune of Nocturin was hidden deep within the thick mists of the Dragon Country.
Arrecation managed to return after a fashion when Ilzubale managed to recover the rune of Oberyl from a cavern deep below the Xalious mountains. Afterwards the rune took control of the common warrior and used him to take revenge on the denizens of Hollow. Ilzubale revivied the ancient magical floating city of Krizar and used it to attack Triton and Nayrul as well as many other locations in Hollow. At the same time a dragon named Kaizer fell under the influence of the rune of Nocturin and became one of Arrecation's avatars, shortly aftwards a second dragon came into contact with the blood of Arrecation becoming the second avatar. The three saviors of Hollow managed to defeat Ilzubale, the rune of Oberyl was then lost only to be recovered by Aurican of Gualon, the rune then passed into the posession of an elf named Rudra who became the third avatar of Arrecation. The three avatars together were like Arrecation returned and battled the three saviors of Hollow before setting up base in the Palace of Forsaken deep within Hell and waged a series of unholy wars with the races of Hollow with their army known as the Forsaken Knights.
When Kaizer and Solaris became dread lords and trapped Arrecation's father the dark immortal Elazul and his associate Khasad, Arrecation became whole once more but seemingly had less power and returned to Hell. Arrecation did manage to return to the surface to confront Kaizer one fateful knight in Kelay Tavern but the dread lord who had become a virtual God defeated Arrecation and was absorbed into the fires of Hell where presumably Arrecation is trapped. Despite the later return of Khasad and Elazul, Arrecation has not been heard from since.
